  1. Just rewatched with the assumption that Kate is doing exactly what Joe usually does to his obssession. Story made sense and was worth the time.
  2. Here is my take. KW initially envisioned it as Dawson's arc of being the good guy who could play and be an ass when called for and Pacey's arc as being that of an ass who could play and be the good guy when called for. The girl would ultimately choose the Dawson type. So what happened? Katie and Josh's connection & chemistry happened (more on that later if interested). So they switched the pairing around and shuffled other stories and characters to fit the new direction. Hence the show became what it was. Katie and Joshua? Anyone with any decent life experience can see just how rare it is and what it looks like when two people just click with each other. It was just too much too soon for them to accept what they had and what it could become. The denial impacted their future years. It happens. Unfortunately no "happy ending" for these two in their personal lives. But hopefully they get by OK now.
  3. Perhaps Dany's main personal reason among many others to not even consider the co-ruling option with Jon, is because of Jon's half-stark blood/upbringing/mindset. Unfortunately he is more than just a targareyn, unlike her.
  4. Tyrion and Sansa are married and part of/leaders of a democratic council of various houses. With fire magic and ice magic gone for good, there's no need for Bran to be three eyed raven anymore. Arya is either dead or escapes to Storms End to be with Gendry, after killing/not killing Cersei. Jamie and Brienne die separately/together, after killing/not killing Cersei. Dany dies and her dragon lives/dies, after getting rid of Euron & Kings landing. Jon dies/retires to the north, after killing Dany.
  5. With resurrected Jon's journey ending and growing ruthlessness of the dragons, it's only a matter of HOW Dany dies. Either willingly with Jon or unwillingly at the hands of Jon.
  6. Just like the death of NK was necessary to get rid of the ice side of magic, maybe Dany's death is necessary to get rid of the dragons/fire side of magic. Perhaps Jon's final purpose is to 'convince' her to sacrifice themselves for the greater magic-less good.
  7. Perhaps the 'Three eyed raven' (Bran) seeks magical balance and will further ensure that Jon fulfills his purpose of eradicating the 'Lord of Light' (Dany), now that the 'Night King' has been dealt with. Is this the third betrayal that's been predicted for Dany?
  8. Flashpoint for Caitlin just means that her 'cryo-dna' has transformed/manifested into 'meta-dna' earlier than it would have in that other timeline. Just because characters want there to be a true dual personality case (like firestorm was) for their own reasons/justifications, doesn't mean one really exists in her case.
  9. Explanation: 'Simple dna' Caitlin would have lead to als route. 'Cryo-dna' Caitlin would have lead to ice powered malignancy route. (Like her father. Dual personality right here just means "accessing powers mode" and "not accessing powers mode") Dark matter affected 'meta-dna' Caitlin would lead to ice powered stabilized route. (Current state. Dual personality right here just means "killer frost" and "medicine woman") Season 3 team ( = Barry and Cisco) rejects "killer frost" side. Season 4 team monitors "killer frost" side. Season 5 team co-operates with "killer frost" side. Hence her season arcs.
  10. Thematically the writers seem to be going for the tv version of "500 days of summer" with Noah and Alison affair. It will all probably end with both original couples back together in a better way.
  11. No. Even if he wanted to, TVD is not his story. Elena Gilbert is the main character, so the writers are going to write him incompetent and super smart Elena is going to be Bonnie's savior.
