Just watched end of Series 6...yokes, Laure :( what is she doing?? Still, Spiral is one of the best overall series ever along with the Bridge (Swedish version.) hate to see either end but happy they each have one more season.

New ones are easy to critcize for me lol...obviously. Yet I am addicted to the style and mood of the show and it is brainless viewing for the most part. But much more difficult with characters that are so unlikable to me. The DS’s never bother me, though the first three are my favorites. Poor Charlie Nelson has dne a foot chase in three striaght episodes I watched this weekend. I know he is a runner on the show but good grief. Amazing how many people hoof it from cops in this series, guilty or not. Well I am still bingeing I admit but gritting my teeth at JB and skip over the “at home”cutesy scenes...not a fan of the baby either... JB’s little monologues at summation are stolen straight from Poirot’s character...and his “one more thing” from Colombo. Not very original on characterization. To me he is such a boor...thinks he is way smarter than he is. And so damned rude to his sergeants! What is that supposed to prove? He had only had Ben when Charlie came on board, yet he acted so put out. And why is Tom never even mentioned, it is like he never existed. Ugh I miss Tom, at least he had a twinkle in his eye.

DS Nelson telling J. Barnavy about his new flat situation, smalltalk...JB says “you do know I don’t care, don’t you?” Ugh what a pompous ass.

I only liked “John Barnaby” when he played the gardener on an early episode, can’t recall name, maybe “Garden of Death”? Something like that. Really dislike him as JB, ruins all the later seasons for me. As much as Joyce and Cully could be annoying and obnoxious...they both get so up in arms if a murder spoils their plans to drag Tom to some silly fete or other. Otherwise the first 12 or so seasons are quite enjoyable to me and I like all three of the DS’s equally, in different ways...and better than those who came after Ben.

Been bingeing on old episodes, to see Tom B. Seems the last words of most victims on MM are “oh, it’s you!”

I do not care for the newest ME. She can’t say anything without trying to make a bad pun or sexual innuendo. Men would be fired for some of her dumb remarks. jB is a rude boor.

Not wild about season 20...and just can’t take John Barnaby. Not liking this DS as much as the old ones. Scott, Ben and Troy were my favs. John is insufferable and pompous...not crazy about Sarah either lol...but like the dog.

I miss Tom B. all the time. Do not care for John or Sarah or how she seems to be woven into so many of the cases like a sidekick almost. And John is far more condescending even than Tom with his DS’s, rude even. Tom had a twinkle in his eye when he made them chase down suspects through hedges and brooks. The latest episodes are not nearly as interesting as the earlier seasons. I know they had to add diversity but now the crimes are not as interesting, nor are the supporting characters. But I like the scenery and villages so I watch anyway but do not look forward to them as much.

LI muted the actual shows as I could not bear to hear Ann muttering inanely to each designer. I really thought Anthony would come in last...feared Fabio might win to show the “with-it” young vibe of the judges. But his clothes do have a medical/uniform sort of vibe crossed with a kimono-type style that often look made of muslin. I did not care for Stanley’s massive button/circles, pins or no. And Alyssa...good grief girlfriend. Stay true to your baaaad style. Really hope the orginal PR is picked up elsewhere. As a reality show it is miles above others even when it frustrates and Heidi, Tim and Zac are good value to me anyway...I enjoy all three. There are so many channels and so many truly terrible shows...I do not know who half the people are who have shows. At least PR has a sort of function and goal and COULD produce a great designer along the way. Christian is worth all of the bad seasons and off-shoots alone. He is changing the industry all by himself. Maybe he would have made his way in any case but maybe not. Hoping Anothony can become the next red carpet designer to the stars...he deserves it.

If this WAS the last episode as rumored...at least it ended with Anthony’s win. But hoping another network will pick up the original PR. This is the first win to shock me in a good way.

So is this the very end of all PR, with this poor offshoot episode tonight? I read today that PR is dead, thanks to Weinstein reverberations. If so, a sad way to go out. And why oh why do I have to see Amanda on my screen yet again? Spare me, please. If this is the last of her, it could be worth losing PR...is there a thread for tonight??

Well...they based it on their concepts of talent, I guess. Though the judges often have questionable taste. But in this case, none of the remaining four deserved to go more than any other.

I think Fabio is so out there that these lame judges think he must be good and are afraid to look uncool or stupid by saying some his stuff sucks and makes women look horrible. They are afraid they don’t “get” him and that he might be some super freak talent.

Ugh so stupid, this version is pointless enough they could easily have four in the final.

Corny but my fav moment of the show is when Jim interupts Pam to ask for a date after his interview. Her face was so real, she even blushed. But it was mostly downhill after that as far as Jim and Pam for me...I guess it had to be, the suspense was over. What I hate most about the office is Dwight, in every possible way. I do not find him funny at all, his character does not amuse me, I do not understand why Jim and Pam protect him. From starting fires to shooting off guns, he is a complete loser. He and Angela deserve one another. Ryan pretty funny most of the time, love that he turned crooked. Michael was almost unbelievable as a character but also necessary...none of the other bosses were any good or worth watching for me. He made it all make sense. Did not like Holly,or Karen. In a mean way I enjoyed it when Jim told her in Utica how great he and Pam were. She was like a leech the way she glommed onto him in Stamford, he too mild to shake her off...a basic rebound affair. Jan went too far off the rails though she was great in her role. Have been watching reruns on Comedy channel but lose interest after Pam and Jim’s wedding. The babies sank them for me as they do most sitcoms.

I do not know what candy crush means. I loathe Kelly Osbourne. I like Anthony’s look best in any case.

Ugh they were all ugly to me. I guess I am just out of touch.

As much I hate Dwight, I hate the Pam/Jim baby more. What a total bore of a storyline.

I could see Angelina Jolie killing Fabio’s gown. Just some great earrings. No one ever needed an ambush makeover more than AM. By someone who likes her. Helen could use one too.

I really hate Dwight and the worst thing about Pam and Jim for me is their being on his side. He is such a loser. I hate that Angela cheated on Andy. Have been watching reruns and hate Dwight more and more. Hate that he kept his job after starting the fire and shooting off his gun. I know it is only TV but to me he is not funny, certainly not enough to have him getting away with that kind of BS, calling Phyliss fat, etc... i really like the character of Michael’s boss David. He is extremely funny and great in that role.

Anthony is a good choice for the prize, compared to Fabio...
