  1. I'm still not sure why Alex just HAS to get married as that never seemed like something that would be so important to him (I remember when someone here said he was becoming Charlotte from SATC), but Alex has lost everything that made him interesting anyways so I guess it doesn't matter. And I agree that Jo is married to an abusive husband so the show can remind us, yet again, that she lived in her car (did you know that?), had a hard life and is super tough, and that her and Alex are "perfect" for each other because they have similar backgrounds even though they have no chemistry whatsoever and she's awful. Alex will be upset, but with the time-jump they will work it out and go back to living in their happy little bubble, hopefully on the backburner. #FREEALEX. Will Owen's sister show up at his wedding? Do we care? I'm already annoyed with her and she hasn't even shown up yet. I never liked MerDer so I'm ready to see her and Riggs together. Can you imagine going to the hospital and seeing two doctors dry-humping each other against a car in the parking lot? Meredith can be the biggest bitch and although she bugs me at times, I still find myself rooting for her. That could be because I hate almost EVERY single character on this show. Why do I still watch? If someone knows of a Greys 12-Step Recovery Program, please let me know.
  2. Mer/Alex would be icky, but as a huge Izzie and Alex/Izzie fan, I have to say a big "EFF YOU" to Camilla for that comment and comparing them in any way to Mer/Alex which she has said would be "incestuous." I mean, AI had their issues like every other couple on this show, but they were together on/off and were friends before Denny's annoying ass storyline. Alex was such a dick back then but Izzie gets all the blame for everything in their relationship and he wasn't just her back-up. I know the Jolex fans always complain about lack of storyline, but if you had to choose between not much airtime, but having your couple be happy and mostly drama-free, or having your couple be front and center but have to deal with the back-stabbing, cheating, nasty fighting over the kids and all the crap the other couples go through, wouldn't you choose the first? Jolex have always been in a happy, boring little bubble and whatever drama they're over-hyping will probably be nothing. I'm still waiting for Jo and her "violent but it's ok cuz she's a girl!" self to just go away and take Penny with her. Camilla sounds like she's pretty tight with EP, so unfortunately that will probably never happen.
  3. I think what stood out in those concert scenes was the fact that Casey was there. Apart from Molly's with everyone or just Kelly, they never show Casey doing anything fun or hanging out with the guys from truck and their shenanigans. He's always just miserable with Super Gabby, kissing her ass, assuring her about something, apologizing, etc. Even the scene with him and Burgess chatting was strange because he's usually stuck in Gabby hell or about to be murdered somewhere. The showrunners said in an interview that Dawson/Casey are the "core of the show," so we're stuck with them, unfortunately. Still can't warm to the new characters. I actually think Brett is the worst. She is a complete and total dud and I want to trade her for Mills. Him and Chili might have been cute together.
  4. Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but this also reminds me of something that has always bothered me about the movie "Overboard" with Goldie Hawn. Kurt Russell's character takes a woman who he KNOWS is married and has amnesia, brings her to his home and tells her that she is his wife and the mother of his 3 sons, has her bond with the boys and eventually sleeps with her knowing all along that he (and the boys) are lying to her about everything. In the end she's cool with it. It always creeped me out. I've always hated Liz, but aside from mind control or the "Liz has a brain tumor that made her do these crazy things!" cop-out, I don't know how they can repair the character after this. I won't be surprised if she gets written out after this, at least for awhile. I don't watch everyday, but didn't she also want that Hayden character to die/stay in a coma?
  5. Ew, no. I'm still hoping the "news" that Gabby gets is that she made squad since there are only like 3 guys on there now, and I'm guessing Rice is on his way out soon. They've been making an effort to have her be all "I'm with you guys!" with the guys from truck lately so it would cause drama if she went over to squad while they're all fighting, especially since she mouthed off to Kelly last episode. But if they do make her pregnant, they'll just do another one of their dreaded, cop out time jumps that this show loves so much.
  6. I would rather see Brett pregnant than Gabby, which is what everyone is predicting for the finale. Seriously, hasn't this show had enough with the damn baby storylines? It's only in it's third season and already we've had Casey and Hallie fighting about babies season one, Herman and his baby, Shay and her never-ending baby storylines with her ex, a sperm donor and then Kelly, Kelly and Renee, Boden and Donna had their whole baby storyline just this season...please, no more. I hope SuperGabby makes squad, then goes away like everyone else does once they make it. Why do they promote these stupid crossovers like they are some special "once-in-a-lifetime" event when they do them every few months? I am most definitely not watching the other two shows so whatever.
  7. Chicago Strip Club (Chicago Chippendales?) Casey is already doing construction on a strip club and he and Severide can crossover and strip part-time for extra cash, preferably every episode.
  8. People on twitter think that Gabby is going to be pregnant after her and Casey slept together last episode. Gross. THAT storyline would make me turn off this show completely and never look back. #FreeCasey.
  9. Casey, WHY? Gabby makes me dislike him and they are just awful together. I don't really want anymore characters to die, but Gabby needs to permanently go away somehow. I wonder if they regret killing off Hallie, Casey's doctor ex-fiancée. She could have been on the new show and Casey was better and much happier with her. DO.NOT.CARE about the Chicago Med/CPD characters. They've had two backdoor pilots for Chicago Med along with the one for CPD on this show. Not to mention the constant CPD crossovers and the fact that CF was basically a launching pad for so many of their annoying storylines most of last season and some of this one also, so shouldn't CPD have most, if not ALL of the Chicago Med spin-off crap on their show? It's not fair. Has there ever been a show in the history of television with this many crossovers? I still love the characters (minus Gabby) but I might have to start watching it online so I can skip over the parts from the other shows. Mills, please take Gabby with you wherever you go.
  10. Of course Casey can't be with a nice, normal girl. They need to show us that awesome, motherly Gabby is the perfect woman for him. That's why they killed off Hallie in the first place. Do the writers/showrunners and such pay a lot of attention to the fans on twitter/facebook? Because, yikes. I know every couple has fans, but I checked out CF on twitter once and there are Dawson and Casey, or "Dawsey" fans on there who will bombard the writers, actors and anyone else connected to the show like non-stop. The crazy "linstead" fans from CPD are worse. I used to watch soaps so I know how the fangirls work. Each fan makes several (or more) accounts, buys followers and then tweets like a madman to make it look like their couple is popular and then threatens them if things don't go their way. It's creepy but I wonder if that's why they shove Gabby in our faces so much. Every offliner I know just hates her. That blonde Captain lady can't pull off long hair.
  11. ITA about the damn crossovers, but it doesn't look like they have any intention of stopping them so I guess they're just going to keep on losing more viewers. It won't be cancelled until they can hit syndication and make tons of money, which is all they care about anyways. I have a feeling that they are going to use this opportunity to try and whitewash Voight's character some more and sweep all the crap that he did under the rug. Casey will probably kiss his ass at some point, but I don't care because I hate Voight and I don't want to watch him on any show.
  12. I'm so glad that Gabby was able to be the hero yet again and save Brett and Mills, followed by several people patting her on the back and telling her how awesome she is. I was worried that they might not be able to have her save the day in this storyline since they showed her at home in the beginning, but they managed! I'm glad Gabby and Casey broke up. It won't last, but I'm going to enjoy Casey being free of that miserable dud even if it's just for one episode. I think Brett fits better with Mills than she does with Cruz. Don't really care about her either way though. I love how a bunch of firefighters were allowed to run into an unsafe building filled with gunfire right along with the cops. I enjoyed this episode, but I was trying to figure out exactly when the writing for this show went downhill. Was it when Chicago PD started?
  13. Casey finally managed to spend some time alone with Kelly even though he couldn't manage to pluck his head out of Gabby's butt a few weeks ago when Kelly was sinking into a black hole of grief after Shay's death. I've said it before, but Gabby is making me hate Casey and that makes me hate her even more. They need to break up, but they won't. Casey will grovel for forgiveness next episode and we'll be stuck with them. I think the squad members can sit wherever they want, but only they can sit at their table by the trucks. Didn't someone try to sit there once and Kelly went all "Mean Girls" on them and was like "This is the SQUAD'S table!" I know that I would be hanging out with the guys from truck, they seem to have more fun together. Seriously, how many times has Brett been put in danger since she's been on this show? I think her and Gabby are going to have a Mary Sue-off at some point.
  14. Brett agrees to go out with Cruz at the same time Kelly is splitting up with his wife, like we can't see where this is going. When she finds out Kelly is single again she is going to drop poor Cruz like a hot potato. If (when) that happens, I will officially be on the "I hate Brett" train. She's on way too much. Can't Otis get a storyline instead? They need to split up Gabby and Casey right now and for good. Does this couple have a large fanbase somewhere? Free Casey, indeed. Are they going to drop this storyline with Mills like the thing with his father's family that went nowhere? I can't see them missing an opportunity to bring on the CPD characters to take up some more airtime.
  15. I'm not ready to give up on this show yet, but the storylines and the writing are seriously lacking. Crabby Gabby is hands down the worst character on this show. Why is she so annoyed all the time? I don't think the actress is that great and she has a "bitchy resting face." Sometimes I can't tell if the actress is supposed to be playing her as miserable or if that's just all she is capable of showing. I've always loved Casey but even he is starting to get on my nerves and I blame her. Poor Severide had to go to Vegas all alone. If I was him I would be seriously reevaluating all of my friendships at the firehouse as no one seems to want to go out of their way to be there for him. I know it happened a few episodes ago, but Erin also pissed me off. His roommate and best friend in the world died in a tragic accident and he's obviously shattered. He showed up late for dinner because he was drowning his sorrows in a bottle and lost track of time, and she got all upset that he left her waiting and dumped him right there in the street. But she'll be there for him as a friend, as if he's going to go to her now. He looked so sad there. I just want to hug him, preferably with him shirtless. Unless they have a very special "Voight gets murdered" crossover event, I have no interest in watching them. I've occasionally half-watched Chicago PD but I don't care about any of the characters. I've always figured that Erin Lindsay was going to become the "Mary Sue" of CPD at some point like Gabby is on here. It looks like she gets injured so that everyone can worry about her, and I heard on CPD she got offered a job by the States Attorney to run her very own task force for the FBI, because she's so awesome and has probably been a cop all of 5 years. I can barely stomach Gabby so, I'm all set with CPD. Why didn't the cops just use that big metal beam thing they always use to break down the door? Oh that's right, so that Gabby could do it with her sledgehammer, knock the guy out in the process and be the hero.
