  1. In addition Justin Hammer (possible MCU Mach-1?), Red Skull, Samuel Sterns/Leader from the Hulk film, Foster and Ghost from Ant Man 2 are out there. I also assume that they'll introduce a classic Thunderbolts character or two like Moonstone or Songbird in the film.
  2. Somehow Palpatine crossed over to the MCU?
  3. In TFA Kylo/Ben is attempting to sever his emotional attachments to complete his journey to the Dark Side, which is an inversion of what we see from the Jedi in the first 6 films, suggesting that Luke wasn't actually all that dogmatic in following the old Jedi way.
  4. So the guy who completely changed the direction of the Thor franchise by deconstructing and then rebuilding Thor, Loki, Odin, and Asgard is the safe and boring choice to direct the next Star Wars film? Kylo Ren was burned as any sort of potential big bad when TLJ ended with him screaming like an idiot while Luke pulled a prank on him. The first two films in the trilogy basically end with Kylo Ren being humiliated, he's not a "big bad" that you build up to a final showdown with at the conclusion of the third. Much in the same way that Hux was burned as any sort of actual threat when he got fooled by the dumbest prank/stall tactic ever by Poe at the start of the TLJ, then let half his fleet get destroyed near the end of the film in much the same way without Holdo even having to bother to distract him first. At the end of TLJ The First Order led by Kylo and Hux are about as threatening as Wile E. Coyote and Elmer Fudd.
  5. I had to step out of the theater for a few minutes, I left at the scene where Strange was trying to open the door that would supposedly lead them to the good McGuffin book, Christine shows him the watch. When I came back in Wanda had America in the temple and Strange and Christine were in a different universe about to meet the 3 eyed Strange. Can anyone fill in that blank for me?
  6. I would guess that they just don't talk to the grandmother very often, since they're all selfish pricks.
  7. They got back together in the next episode
  8. I wonder if they just digitally edited his tombstone for the opening of the trailer because they thought the average viewer wouldn't recognize that William = Billy.
  9. IIRC They made 1 that was only sold as part of a set, but never sold any solo Killian figures.
  10. The first episode of Season 1, we see a man and a woman sitting on either side of Navaeh at dinner who are likely her parents. Nathan's Uncle featured at his funeral and his Cousin Fran was the one investigating Nathan's death before her own self driving car drove her off a pier.
  11. The contract he signed is really good for the Dodgers unless his production just takes an unexpected nose dive in the next few seasons.
  12. I think it's the likely end game of the series, definitely more worth everything around Nathan that we've seen than a free upload service would be.
  13. That makes sense, though people from CA and NY are still going to flock to other states and take up spots there and slow down the process for the people from those states. The real question though is why not just let Nathan and his partners open their own free service, if the goal is to simply remove the poor from the vote, the more free Upload services available the better even if they're not specifically opening in the key locations. Honestly I'm confused as to why he'd even need hide his involvement. As far as evil plans go, this evil plan is, apparently, just giving people exactly what they want. People are lining up to die for this service. I guess it's entirely possible that they're planning on pulling the plug on the whole thing once they tip the votes enough, but if that's the case then I have to wonder how good of a job he's doing of hiding things when he's housing their offices in a building he owns Also I'm curious as to what it is about Nathan's specific code that was so important, it seems that the main reason a free service would have issues starting would be the need to run and maintain the physical servers and drives rather than having a code for a good VR interface.
  14. The evil plan seems questionable to me. People in NY and CA would simply relocate to the states where more spots are available. If healthy people are lining up to upload now, they'll certainly make the trip to a battleground state to do so. They don't even have to worry about finding a job or a place to stay.
  15. She goes to a strip club often enough that the bouncer knows her, she's got to be at least 18.
  16. I had never realized that there was supposed to be a reason for their feud beyond Charlie being scared of Diane because she was clearly a sociopath and Diane having it out for him because, you know, she's a sociopath, and he's scared of her.
  17. As Kyle says and Cartman confirms in the episode, Cartman is an idiot who doesn't know how to spell Tolkien
  18. Yes, most biological life on Earth ended, the Machines have kept Humanity alive as a power source. We don't have to believe the matrix, because we see ample on screen evidence that the scorched sky is true. IO did not make a deal with the Matrix. It was a city made by humans from Zion and machine allies due to relationships formed as a result of the Truce Neo created. Zion got an extra 60 years because of Neo, and many more of the people of Zion likely could have survived if they'd heeded the warning signs of the Machine's warring factions instead of blindly believing the Truce would last forever. The purpose of The One is to serve as an avatar of Human free will that chooses to reunite with The Source and reboot the Matrix when the number of humans who reject the Matrix reaches a point where it threatens to crash the system. If Smith or other agents have taken a similar path in previous cycles is unknown, but would normally be irrelevant to the One/Source equation because the previous Ones choose to reunite with the Source when given the choice. In Architect is not in M4, the Analyst has replaced him and remade the Matrix in a way that seems to do a better job of suppressing the anomaly of free will by using the bots to steer human free will (which Neo and Trinity seem to be the avatars of) into choosing the system by using bots and more subtle manipulation than the Architect (who focuses on free will in more mathematical terms as a problem to be solved).
  19. They never said the Earth was destroyed? Morpheus said that at some point during the war between humanity and the machines humanity "scorched the sky" to deprive the Machines of solar power, Trinity seeing the sun above the dark clouds humanity created matches up with what Morpheus told Neo in the first film. The Machines did not leave Zion alone, they destroyed it five times down to every man, woman, and child, each time allowing that cycle's version of The One to select a small group of humans from the matrix to rebuild Zion and start the cycle over again. Without Neo's deal the Matrix would have been crashed by Smith, Zion would have been wiped out killing humanity, the Machines would have lost their primary power source and died out or something very close to it. The decades of peace are what allowed humans to survive the eventual destruction of Zion to create IO.
  20. I think that the way it's framed, with Shapiro pointing out up front that they have no proof for their theories as soon as they're brought up makes Joss and his supporters (correctly) look like delusional conspiracy theorists who are grasping at straws. She also immediately follows by saying that Snyder's version of the film is "critically acclaimed" which contrasts the earlier assessment of his version of the film as a "debacle" which serves to frame Joss's decisions and claims about the film/Fisher and the criticisms of him as being proved wrong by the final product.
  21. To be fair, the line about his mom was something the writer of the article pulled from a speech Joss gave 15 years ago to frame the things Joss was saying now. This was most definitely not a pro-Joss PR/fluff piece, maybe Joss thought it would be when he agreed to it, but he did a good enough job of hanging himself, and Shapiro made sure to not let his statements go unchallenged, that there's really no need to focus in on an odd thing he said about his Mom well over a decade ago.
  22. I suspect that the stuff with Perrin and Egwene is a signal that they're planning on combining their respective Tel'aran'rhiod/Wolf Dream plots. Reading the books I kept waiting for the two of them to realize they were both floating around in dream world all the time and start teaming up, and it kept not happening.
