Perhaps the Rosie trashing to the media was one Jennifer Shepherd-Brookman as she was named in Daily Mail. She is now fired. I have deleted the show off my DVR. My mornings are once again free to walk. I have to thank all of you who have posted on this thread, what an incredible group. It's nice to find a blog where there is no Rosie hate running. It made my days yellow! Blessings to Rosie on her journey and to all of you!

Again negative sniping to the Daily News about Rosie. This one seems to be the opposite of the Radaronline article. This cast/crew has a cancer embedded in this crapfest and I am glad that Rosie is leaving on her terms. I wonder how they sold her on rejoining in the first place, unless it was her agents who were looking for her paycheck again. I don't know where the truth is in this fiasco, but Rosie had a top flight show for several years which the media and her haters seem to forget. She might just know something about running a winning show.

That Radaronline article is a day late and a dollar short, that is if it is even grounded in any truth. This just seems totally foolish after all the negative Rosie leaks to every rag since October. Cindi Berger did the right thing in getting Rosie out of there as I don't see how she could salvage a show after Whoopie was fired. Rosie would have had more ugliness in the tabbies and Whoops fans would be just as angry as Rosie's fans are today. The biggest problem must be the ABC management team who have made a giant mess of a long time running show. And boo hoo to Rosie's agents for losing out on the money end. She wouldn't be worth anything if she had another heart attack. This has certainly been a giant lesson to the viewers in how to run a show off the air. I did see a change in Whoops behavior toward Rosie this week, but I didn't get the impression that Rosie was acting any different than she has all season. If anything she is in countdown and breathing easy. But then again, that is my view and I do wear old glasses:)

So Babs told Bill O'Reilly that Rosie coming back on the show would never work. Did she know the knives would be out? Or is Babs a backstabber as she has been labeled by other columnists and was gossiping with another one of her good right wing buddies? What did she tell Trump? I thought I read that Rosie told her wife she would not tell anyone they were separated and that is why it was quiet. In my view it wasn't my business. She said she finally told her she had to in order to explain her reasons for leaving the show. Rosie not announcing anything on air might also be a promise to Michelle...we just don't know what they have agreed to in this situation. I don't know how Rosie doesn't have PTSD after working on this show this year. How could anyone take the backstabbing that was fed to the media and still come to work every day. I wonder how her children felt reading this kind of hateful reporting and then the many vile comments that followed. She probably never expected this drip, drip, drip to the media when she agreed to join the program. I like her, warts and all. She is a generous person and obviously she knows when to say o.k. you don't need me I am leaving. She is not a quitter in my eyes, they drove her out and now Whoop owns it all!

Bravo Dreamboat Annie. You wrote my thoughts and so to the point. Anyone with heart issues, which I have too, knows that stress is a major trigger for heart problems. I can't imagine a daily dose of unjustified media bashing not crushing my soul and sending me into arrest. In my view, ABC needed Rosie O this season to bring up the falling ratings, which happened initially according to the caustic news articles. If they flattened then maybe they should look at the rest of the scintillating panel and don't forget to feed the Daily Mail about them too.

Although I like her demeanor on the show, I don't like her obvious alliance with Whoop. Her communications background means she also has a lot of contacts in the yellow media for spreading gossip. Just my view, but all those stories about Palin's expensive shopping trips on the campaign trail came from someone and I am not discounting her part in the news.

I don't think Rosie is a quitter. Her health is a top priority and she has mentioned that her doctor has watched her on the show and was concerned for her health. Perhaps her health is fragile, the constant drip of negative whispers to the media blaming her for everything and then the snide crap from Whoop is taking its toll. She has five children she wants to see grow up and now two ex's that she is probably keeping in the lap of luxury...why should she take the fall for the View ratings. My View is it is their loss and let's see how the ratings are with Whoop and Nicolle's fans.

At least Rosie didn't have any split screen fireworks prior to resigning. The rightwing is going to skewer her regardless and have been ever since Tom Selleck days. On a positive note, she still has documentaries, and The Fosters, perhaps that is where she should focus her talents from now on and forget live television. I hope The View is canceled as I don't like the unholy alliance of Whoop and Nicolle. I have the feeling that Nicolle is a wolf in sheep’s clothing and as soon as another campaign starts she and Whoop will become another arm of Morning Joe.

I have been wondering about Ro's wife for a while now since there has been no mention and the pictures on her site are of only the children. In fact, just last night I got a strong hunch that the woman bolted. If I was Ro I would never marry again.. I am done watching this show as I only came back when Ro was back on the panel. I don't blame her for leaving, I bet her doctor told her to get out before the stress of the bag lady sniping and the bolting wife took her life. As for the nastiness that is said about Ro, she has many, many, many friends and she doesn't need to be set up daily for ridicule on the View set or on the internet. SInce I was right about the bolting wife I think I will buy a lottery ticket to see if my intuition is hot right now!

Perhaps putting the show under the News divsion might have been the first step in making it fit the 2016 election. They have the GOP chair filled and now they can subtley fill other seats. A Morning Joe knock off which could eliminate the rest of the table. Wallace is getting all kinds of exposure and practice. ETA: I just noticed the word dramatically was also left out of the MSN article regarding ratings. Going from "ratings haven't improved dramatically" to "ratings haven't improved" is certainly a different picture in my view.

Saw the opening and saw Rosie was not on and WG acting up again... so I turned it off.

How sad that Huckabee got to blame President Obama for not working with Republicans and no one countered him with the facts. If Joy or Star Jones had been on the panel they might have brought up the Republican meeting on the night of the inauguration that was making plans to thwart Obama at every move. This hasn't been a do nothing Congress because he wouldn't work with them, they wanted to slap him with the worst evah President in history by not working on anything but repealing his work. They shouldn't have politicians on if they aren't going to do the homework. This gives Nicolle free reign to campaign for Republicans. I don't think Rosie O is the person to do it either. Bring a Rachel Maddow on if this is going to be a forum for candidates.

"Hallelujah"... can't wait to see Ro back in the mod seat.
