  1. Even if he beaten Tony at fire, I don't think that would have been enough to sway the jury. He did nothing else through out the game. I also think this would have actually given Natalie an extra boost in her resume, being able to successfully broke up the threesome by setting up Ben against Tony. Ben mentioned he didn't want to get crucified by the jury, which is I think the main reason he offered himself to get voted off. He has nothing to justify winning the game if he gets to the FTC. He knows his win in HHH is controversial and he probably didn't want to go down the road again to have jury/people telling him he is undeserving. I would have love to see Sarah and Tony being part of the final 3. People overlook that Sarah is really good at reading the game. Remember Tony offered his idol to save Sarah at the TC when Kim was voted out. It took a lot of guts to REJECT an idol. If she took it from Tony, he would not have the idol to save himself at F6. Sarah could have definitely build a strong case for herself if she got to the end. I still think Tony would still win but it would have been a more interesting FTC. It sucks that Michele got no votes. She is definitely second place in my opinion. It's just that nobody hates or is bitter against Tony. I have no idea why someone besides Jeremy would vote for Natalie. Parv, Ethan and Tyson lost some points with me with their vote. I give credit to Natalie for getting back into the game but her using 2 idols to save herself is ridiculous. From the ponderosa's videos, almost everyone recognize how strong Tony's game is so to vote for Natalie makes no sense. She played a different game at EOE and is nowhere close to the game Tony played. Not to mention Natalie gets to buy advantages/disadvantages to use against the players in the game, which makes it even harder for them.
  2. I'm baffled why everyone thinks Sarah made a strategic move by giving the reward to Nick. I think Sarah thought the others would be smart enough to know that this would put a target on her back IF this was really a strategic move. But it wasn't so that why she did it. They all played the game before and this kind of move is not something you put on your resume or enough to build relationship. I guess Sarah gave them too much credit. I don't mind Adam. I didn't watch his season so I'm not sure if this is his style but he was too much of a loose cannon to keep around. He talks way too much and sometimes less is more in Survivor. Michele seems to have some storyline every week so I am thinking she will definitely go far. The only one I am really pulling for is Sophie (who noticeably has no confession this week). I wouldn't Nick winning also, he is again the underdog, just like his season so if he can pull through then he deserves the win. Everyone else is kind of meh.
  3. Sandra definitely got played. I can almost forgive her for underestimating Denise but I am surprised she didn't even write another person's name down as an insurance just in case Denise betrays her, at least it will be a tie. Even Denise use the idol on Jeremy just in case Sandra does this to make sure she goes home. I feel bad for Parv. She really has no options and her boot didn't get to have its own episode! This is why I hate these 5 persons tribe swap. You barely have time to build any connections. Sandra got screwed like this too in Game Changers. All the old schoolers are dropping like flies. I will be really bummed if Yul goes next...
  4. Yeah but I think they would have shown it if Lauren hesitated so I tend to believe that Rob folded too fast. He should have offered her two names BUT she would lose her vote in the next TWO tribal if she is wrong instead of just one tribal. That would have been more fair.
  5. The cliffhanger was kind of lame. The show is picked up so the pilot must have been good, so why are they going to reshoot the whole thing, especially when Christine said Fox has no money? Then she said they don't have enough money to bring all of them back. How does that happen? The whole thing at the end makes no sense. The easy resolution would be to cut Shannen's salary since she got paid double. I was disappointed that we didn't see any of the actual pilot that they filmed. I thought that last act with Brenda in bed was going to be it but when Brandon turned to her I knew it was fake. Did anyone notice that Shannen's major scenes are all with Brian? Shannen's saying Kelly was a slut was hilarious. I still remember Brenda's line: "If it walks like a duck and looks like a duck..."
  6. I didn't understand the logic of how that girl writer knew how to rewrite the characters after seeing the real life actors interact. How does seeing Gabi/Jennie made up made her understand Andrea/Kelly better? Their personal lives have no bearing on what the characters become on the show. I love Brenda and Shannen is one of the main seasons I tuned in but I am kind of over Zen Shannen. It was was funny at first but it seems like she has mellowed too much. I hope they don't make Brenda this soft. I better see some drama on the actual reboot!
  7. This episode was just ok. Both storylines involving Eleanor and Tahini were touching but overall it was kind of bland. I guess I just have high hopes for this show considering how quirky and inventive it can be and this episode is just too "normal". The only thing I liked (well, besides Jason's observation of the boobs) is that Michael gets to bond with another human, an architect, no less. The joke with Eleanor's question whether Michael has a penis and then later Dave pointing out that Michael didn't design a bathroom were also great. Other than that, I hope the show is going somewhere other than "the four of them just being good people" because frankly it's not that interesting.
  8. I was cautiously optimistic before I watch it because it's very hard to be funny when the focus of the episode is death but if any show was going to make it work, it's Roseanne (the episode where Roseanne and Jackie's dad died is a prime example). I was not disappointed. The episode flowed well and Dan, Jackie, Darlene and Becky each got to grief in their own way. Dan is still the most affected of all and his anger towards Marcy is understandable. Jackie's reaction is the most realistic, being that Roseanne has the most impact on her life and she is lost without her so she just kept busy by cleaning and doesn't want to leave. Little neurotic but not too over the top, which is the Jackie that I loved and the ending scene with her and Darlene had me tearing up. Darlene is holding the family together and surprisingly Becky had the funniest lines. I also thought Lecy really got into the character this time. Becky almost tearing up after Darlene said she couldn't believe Roseanne OD and then saying she already went through this with Mark and can't handle it again was well done. I always thought that Roseanne was very close to Becky (in the earlier seasons) so it was nice (but sad) to see her reactions. On the other hand, DJ is once again left out probably because it's too much to cram into 20 minutes but hopefully we get to see the impact of Roseanne's death on him in the later episodes. I think Roseanne's death may be a blessing in disguise. It actually opens up more room for the remaining characters to grow with each having a new "role" in the family. Did anyone notice that on ABC homepage, the description of the series is "This iconic family—Dan, Jackie, Darlene, Becky and D.J.—grapples with parenthood, dating, an unexpected pregnancy, financial pressures, aging and in-laws in working-class America." Does that mean Becky WILL get pregnant this season?
  9. The Emmys rarely does that. They have Julia Roberts, Viola Davis, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey before to present Best Actor/Actress for Drama Series. It might have something to do with the fact that there are lots of repeat winners (Bryan Cranston, Jim Parsons, Julia-Louis Dreyfus, Claire Danes, etc.) so they want to mix it up.
  10. I am sure Julianna will show up. She was a presenter two years ago when she was snubbed. It sucks that she is not nominated this year. Even though the season was very uneven, I still feel JM's acting is always top notch. The category is just too competitive. Viola Davis and Taraji P. Henson were sure in with their hot new shows. Robin Wright and Claire Danes were also predicted to be nominated. You have just 2 spots left with JM, Kerry Washington, Lizzy Caplan, Vera Farmiga, Keri Russell, Michelle Dockery, Ruth Wilson, Elisabeth Moss. Moss got in and surprisingly, Tatiana Maslany got in (although two years too late). I really hope Christine Baranski win this year. It's a shame if she doesn't win for this role. But the writers never give Diane any substantive storylines. There may be a couple of good scenes once in a while but she doesn't have any strong arcs. I think her only good tape is "Loser Edit" with her in the mock trial debating gay marriage and religious freedom. It showcases Diane's intelligence and liberal views but it sometimes feel like the writer just try to cram in as many arguments as possible and at the end of the episode, it doesn't really affects Diane (it just feels like a story of the week).
  11. The note "mystery" will be reveal in the finale next week.
  12. Please. I agree something is up between Julianna and Archie but let's not go overboard. The lack of interaction between Alicia and Cary/Diane throughout the season was to show the rift between their relationship when Alicia started to run for SA. They have brought this up several times how Alicia is never at the firm but then she complained when they hired David Lee without her permission. It's part of the storyline (unlike with Kalinda who Alicia speaks over the phone as well but there is no hint anything is wrong between them). The A & C/D dynamics has changed and will no doubt follow through once Alicia is back at the firm. JM likes to get her job done fast but that doesn't mean she asked the writers to cut down her scenes. I mean when she is not interacting with C/D, she is with the characters in the election storyline (Eli, Peter, Finn, etc.). So it's not like she just does solo scenes and leave. There seems to be no problem between JM and Christine or Matt. JM speaks very highly of Christine (she just gave an interview and said Christine is the classiest woman she know). I am so tired of hearing JM being jealous of AP because she won the Emmy first. It's ridiculous. JM lost the Emmy the first season but she got the SAG and the Golden Globes. It's not like JM won nothing and AP won everything. There wasn't any problem with them the second season either. If you watch the clip where JM won the Emmy, AP was sitting next to her and her husband and gave a thumbs up to JM's husband when she walked up the stage. I really think it's their work ethics that caused the rift. If the Alicia/Kalinda pairing was true, I can see why JM would reject it but it doesn't make sense for the characters not to even be in the same room together.
  13. I love this episode and am glad Alicia is forced to step down. People need to look at the big picture. The election was a snooze but the AFTERMATH, especially with Alicia resigning is a great direction for the show to go into next season. The election was not a waste because not only was the whole season building up for her fall, it also sets up the rift between Alicia and the other characters. She was hardly at the firm, her relationship with Cary and Diane definitely suffered (like when they negotiated her exit package). Now that she lost as SA, what's next for her? Her professional image has definitely been tarnished, with the email scandal and the voter fraud. She has always been Saint Alicia and now that she is the one being targeted, it will definitely be interesting to see how she will cope and build her way back up again. I really think if the election storyline was tighter and less filler, this could have been just as good as last season.
  14. This reminds me of an episode of The Practice where the defense proposed a plea because there was a key eyewitness that saw the defendent committing the crime. The prosecution rejected it at first. Then the eyewitness died but the prosecution did not inform the defense but instead quickly told the defense that they accept the plea. When the defense found out about the eyewitness, they tried to over turn the plea. It was denied because the court said the defendent had the option to go through with the trial but entered a voluntary plea of what he thought was the best deal, even if it wasn't "fair". So yeah, it's very unlikely for a judge to withdraw a plea and you can't appeal either.
