  1. Charles looks and acts like a cold limp penis. I don't know how else to describe him, he is always so lifeless. Adding insult to injury is him wanting to leave Diana, not vice versa. I wish she had developed the self-confidence she needed to leave that dark cloud shrouded in the body of an 80 years old man. What a miserable piece of shit. On another note, the show leaned too heavily on Diana's simpering at the flashing lights. That is directions and acting choices but the bulimia scenes where just too excessive
  2. Yes! Yes! Yes! Thatcher is straight up villainous in this portrayal and if she really opposed sanctions to starve off apartheid the it is justified
  3. I think it is unfair to both sides Charles and Diane. Both aren't needy for the same reasons and Charles is years older than Diana. Saying both are the same things absolves Charles' abhorrent behavior and overlooks a girl whose naiveté got the best of her. Forget about his affair with Camilla, her child being kept away from her was terrible. Diana had a lot of reasons to "misbehave" but I'll bet you I will burn down the house if someone kept me from my child for a single minute. Royal family or not. The more Anne displays jealousy of Diana, the more she looks and sounds dour. Keep it up princess Maybe Diana wouldn't need to be reassured if she wasn't married with a self-centered cheating cad. Just maybe. She enjoys the attention but I don't see where she went out of her way to seek it. Reaching out to the queen in her state is not needy, it is human.
  4. The show is not shying away from making Camila and Charles look like the horrible cheaters there were. Diana didn't have a period in her time with Charles that wasn't overshadowed by "Gladys". Charles was easily the worst child and whom the Queen clearly couldn't abide. She worries about Annie, is curious about Edward, interested in Andrew and impatient with Charles. I think Coleman played all reactions brilliantly Unfortunately, Margaret Thatchers' dynamic with her son is far too common.
  5. I just binged all 4 seasons. It was entertaining I have lost all favor for Alfred's children in season 4. Edward is a twat who doesn't know what a dimwit he is, keeping a snake by himself for as long as he did The female daughter whose name I can't spell is an ungrateful twit just like her father. Uhtred is good enough to hump and protect your kingdom and heirs but not good enough rule. Seriously those ungrateful siblings along with Uhtred's being continued betrayed by those he fight for is souring me off the show That brings me to Brida. Did she forget the part where Uhtred went after Cnut to avenge Ragnar? I hated what she became by the end. So sad Ragnar went out the way he did. Poor father Beoacca went out a hero. May he rest in peace
  6. This show is godawful Worst season finale ever. I should write a better review but it doesn't deserve any more than what I've stated
  7. The self-righteousness of Kim when she goaded Rich into calling her out was astonishing. It was actually pretty psychotic If I didn't see with my own eyes her actions, I would have completely thought it justified
  8. Fuck this show. As if Shaun will die. As if we don't know Lea is having a come to Jesus momentS The whole thing was so contrived.
  9. I hope they move on from Shaun's love life next season. It has consumed the show All the hatred he spewed at Lea was because Lea rejected his advances. It is nothing close to being two timed by an asshole. Shaun had no grounds, none.
  10. Shaun was giving off some serious stalker vibes. I HATE nothing more than guys who don't take a No for No. Last week someone had said that Lea didn't want to change to be with Shaun and that it was bad, but why should she? If a show had one of the couples change who they inherently are just to be coupled up, everyone would be up in arms and rightly so Shaun knowingly or unknowingly is selfish. It was all about him and how he felt. It is worse because it had to be pointed out to him and even then, he still wouldn't let go. He likes a toy and must have it at all cost. I thought Claire's friend urging Claire to date her window was creepy and still creepy. I am sorry of all the people she could try a relationship with, the show picked him
  11. Given her conduct with Shaun and Claire, her goal is take down as many of her colleagues with her. She tried to rattle Shaun with no regard of the open patient on the operating table. She doesn't care about Claire's nor Melendez' careers. Such a destructive person has no place in being a doctor.
  12. Even if they do turn romantic, it would still not be a #MeToo thing. Let's not loose focus on what the MeToo movement is about; Powerful men prying on their subordinates. It is unfair to put Melendez into the same category while victimizing Claire who is just enjoying a friendship. He offered Claire a shoulder to in her time of need. Let's not misconstrue what we've seen with our own eyes. There was nothing inappropriate about their interactions in and out of the work place. Circumstances have forced them to hide a completely benign relationship. If it turns into something more, we can discuss that but I think it is jumping the gun lump them into the unsavory MeToo movement
  13. This show is overwrought with Shaun relationship drama. Just please end it already. I just do not want to see him in a romance. And his behavior with the guy whose mother died? Like, WTF was that? Of course he got his way in the end just like he will with Lea despite Lea telling him no twice now.
  14. Poor victim Melendez! That man eater Claire's her hooks on him. F'real!
  15. For the love of god, enough with Shaun's love life. More of Melendez and Claire's friendship Morgan is a shady bitch. I hope her ass gets fired. At least Park is upfront about his backstabbing ways
  16. He'll be a hypocrite. Won't disagree. But the heart want what it wants. If they want each other and aren't hurting anyone by being together, I have seen worst transgressions
  17. I have zero interest in shaun's love life and the fact that it took a large portion of the show made the premier a let down for me. Also didn't get the patient with the fractured leg's objection for anesthesia. If you want to scream through pain, fine. I am not watching it. I signed up for entertainment, this isn't it That leaves Claire's story which was the only positive character progression of the night. I loved her interactions with the patent. Claire's defining trait has always been kindness. I am glad it was highlighted here. From season 1, one could point at many instances of her interactions with Melendez and speculate that they are being set up as a pairing. It would be a slow burn by the time it happens. I am here for it
  18. Her "complicity" was forced on her. What choice do you think she had exactly? Without losing her whole career? Because it's not if she could accuse Mitch of what he didn't, top it off with the biggest boss buying her silence and walk away with her career intact. Girls like Hannah claw their way to get to where she is. She should not be forced to pick her dignity over her livelihood
  19. I don't understand how people are getting that Alex was lying. Her response that she doesn't care when Mitch called her pathetic is not an admission of guilt. We see the same play with Hannah, except she is more reconciliatory with Mitch and is toeing his line even though we saw with our eyes that no, he clearly coerced and abused her. She is going to corroborate with his version of events because he's a bullying asshole and she feels guilty that she placed herself in that situation anyway I am not going to take from their exchange where he tries to shame Alex - as we see him doing with Hannah in the same episode nonetheless - and Alex having none of his bullying as clue that she's lying about him possibly abusing her too. If I hadn't seen last week's episode and seen his behavior with Hannah, given Hannah demeanor with him for most of their interactions, I'd believe his version of events. Mitch is a predator so Alex recollection is not out of the realm of possibilities. Alex would keep this to herself because she'd wonder if she was complicit or a victim. Even when we see the man has done the things he's accused of, he is still given the benefit of the doubt. I have no reason to believe him over Alex. None
  20. It is such hubris that Mitch would think that after forcing himself on a woman, she'd be grateful to him for promotion What a toxic place to work. I can see how Hannah would feel a certain way after staying on and accepting the promotion. She'd feel she sold her dignity and have given up her rights. People like Mitch are cancer to society but most people around a Mitch are carcinogens
  21. I don't like that there are now women involved in the Mitch controversy are they only two black females on the team. Even less that it is being insinuated that they slept their way to the top. It is less evident with Mia because she seems to be written as a victim, but the second lady, Mitch was pretty explicit in his accusation her of using him to get ahead. As if the fucking white male with all the power can be used by the lowly minority on the set. Fuck it
  22. Sandy Hook All our school shootings ......
  23. I wasn't ready to cry this much watching the Crown. This show has always been a guilty pleasure but this season so far is anything but. The tragedy was all the more devastating because they put faces to it. Young, innocent babes. I pray the children of Aberfan rest in peace
  24. This is yet another episode that tugged at my heartstrings. Princess Alice is a true saint
