    Season02.E06

I really like this series. I loved the surprise ending in this episode. It seems like a great set up for season 3... if there is one.
  2. I agree with everything you said AngieBee1. I also am enjoying the series. I like that we get to learn more about the characters and not just introducing them as objects to fight with. I hope there are more seasons... 3 episodes won't be enough for me.
  3. I'm watching now. It's pretty good so far. It even has John Wick's mustang in it.
  4. I also hated this episode. I didn't mind the time jump, but I didn't need to see an entire episode of it. Maybe Sally can play herself in Gene's production and become a star after all.
  5. I really hate the baby/IVF storyline. I fast forward through it now and all of the Archie scenes too. I hope it's discontinued if there is a 2nd season.
  6. The story is good, but the series is poorly cast. I'm still watching because the story has promise. I just read that it was renewed for season 2, so maybe there will be better acting choices for next season.
  7. I thought this was really good. I'm looking forward to more episodes.
  8. I'm suspecting a college affair between Ethan & Cameron and Ethan still has unresolved feelings about it. Cameron is using sexuality to get into Ethan's head and he knew Ethan was watching him have sex with the prostitute. Otherwise, I can't see any other reason why Ethan would want anything to do with Cameron & his wife. They are not friends. I have a feeling that the business friends he wants Ethan to meet back in the U.S. are probably close by and they will be meeting them soon at the resort. Cameron is probably into some shady dealings and needs Ethan's money to bail him out. Maybe this will lead to the deaths discovered in the water.
  9. That was a great finale. Life goes on. I'm really going to miss the show and all of the characters. I'd love to see Diane & Marissa in D.C. and also what happens with Jay and the underground group.
  10. Nice reference to David Bowie and Major Tom.
  11. I confess I read a synopsis somewhere, so I sorta get the premise of the story (but not everything as I didn't want to completely spoil it). So far I'm hooked. And I don't mind EM's staring gazes as much in this series. I'm also surprised more people haven't found it yet, but I've only seen it advertised on Twitter.
  12. Chiwetel's alien reminded me of Alan Tudyk also. Both are such good actors. I kept thinking I that Naomie Harris looked really familiar. She played Calypso in the Pirates/Caribbean movies with Bill Nighy.
  13. What happened to Cat's baby? I thought maybe Cat is Matilda's mother. I have dosed off a few times, did I miss something?
  14. My dad had a heart attack during the night. The pain woke him up, but he didn't have the strength to wake up my mom or to speak. He said all he could do is lay there until he lost consciousness. Luckily, when he came to, he was able to wake up my mom and get to the hospital.
  15. I loved every minute of this series! Absolutely delightful. Can't wait for next season.
  16. Again, I liked the black & white story set in the early 60s. Interesting that they tied the assassination of JFK to a plot to keep the knowledge of aliens a secret. The modern story with the young adults is ff material.
  17. It's been awhile so I don't remember everything. But one of the things that Fuller wanted to do was reveal that the dad was gay. In the first episode, there is a man that comes to the house to pay his respects and he and the dad hug each other a little bit too long. George even asks Rube if men are supposed to hug that long. The network wasn't keen on the idea and dropped it and the dad had the affair with the female student instead. Fuller has said there were other creative issues as well. I loved both seasons of the show and was really disappointed when it was cancelled, fans sent the Showtime exec that canceled it a bunch of post it notes with his name and ETD on them. They also picketed their NYC offices in reaper costumes. There used to be a great site called "Dead Like Me Online" that had a lot of insider info on it. At least two of the actors commented on the message board. (the dad & Crystal) I did not care for the movie at all. It lacked all of the charm and quirkiness of the series. The new Daisy had a complete personality change. The character that took over Rube's management position seemed inconsistent with what we learned about reapers in the series. It really was a huge disappointment. Still, I am not sorry I watched it. It was nice to see the characters again and have the questions about George & Reggie resolved.
  18. I just finished and I agree this is the best season. I'm still a bit confused about some of it and looking forward to discussing when more people have finished watching.
  19. Did anyone understand the first 15 minutes? I don't and I rewatched it 3 times. I will keep watching and hope it make sense later. But if anyone can explain it I don't mind spoilers.
  20. I seems like the writers have painted Hailey into a corner. She's still got a conscious & she's not as devious as Voight. I don't see her being able to carry this burden long term.
  21. Yes two bad cops. The entire squad is looking for a dead man. I'm not sure why Upton went along with it though. There is no way Burgess could know what Voight & Upton did as she was unconscious/nearly dead in a different location. Voight has always been a criminal and I'm sure the whole squad knows it, so maybe she is suspicious.
