  1. I actually didn't hate Matt's tattoo. It is a neck tattoo to begin with, so I don't really get why it being dark is such an issue. I am sure all these tattoos hurt. I enjoyed how it had so much detail up close. I thought it was cool that it looked like a real scarf. It wasn't my favorite, but I liked it far more then Chris' butterfly with the scratchy coloring. I really wish Chris and Tyler were not on this season. I have enjoyed watching the more friendly competition amongst the other contestants. I am rooting for Duffy, Kruzeman, and Craig.
  2. I kind of have to applaud this level of laziness. And people will buy it.
  3. Disagree. He sounded like an adult shutting down a rude teenage bully. It was refreshing to hear someone cut off Kevin's long ass belittling diatribes.
  4. The Green Bay Packers and the tiny pig wearing a top hat were the best part of the movie. I hated Flashlight and Emily and her "quirkiness". It was crazy how much better the big finale in the first movie was than this one that made them win world champions. I was kind of sad when Key actually liked Flashlight and didn't kick Becca and Emily out with their basicness.
  5. Yessss. She seems like a woman who mocks typically feminine interests. I am tired of the stereotype that girly equals bad. Some of the most intelligent people I know are doctors who are super into makeup, a PhD who used to be a ballerina, and a highly successful lawyer who is always is looking at the latest fashion trends for women.
  6. I kind of hope Cartman doesn't get rid of PC Principal. We need both spectrum of asshole on the show.
  7. Great episode. I loved the SJW mocking (as someone who tends towards being PC myself) and how South Park did mainly stick with using her for Caitlyn but still called out how people need to go overboard with the praise. On the sports side, my Bostonian fiancé was cackling at the Tom Brady, Patriots coach, NFL commissioner, and Cartman sequence. Can't wait for an episode about Trump.
  8. Same. And I like all the similar kinds of shows, even Kimmy Schmidt, but cannot get into 30 Rock.
  9. Completely agree with Watchmen. I still watch the trailers every now and then. I actually kind of liked the recent Great Gatsby, but really loved the trailers.
  10. I already said I liked Karen on The Office, but I am with you on Pam too. She wasn't perfect, but she got a lot of scrutiny that was not always deserved. I love/hated the scene in the finale when viewers slammed her for not being as romantic as Jim and being annoyed with him for the whole Athlead thing. At first I thought the show was making fun of viewers, but it seemed that we were kind of supposed to side with them. And because I can't read this thread without reading it's sister thread, I have another one. I hate the way Britta Perry was treated in universe on Community, and I got the sense that many fans did not like her. I liked her in the first season, but hated how she became "the worst." Gillian Jacobs did a great job with goofy Britta, but I missed the smart, sardonic woman from season one who was believably flawed.
  11. It was kind of weird that a show that ended up being all about looooove in the end with 50 millionncharacters didn't have any gay couples.
  12. Michelle was also the brattiest, most selfish, and most obnoxious child I have ever seen on my tv. I even hated her as a kid watching the show.
  13. I have never wanted to throw a book across the room more than Tana French's In the Woods. Unlikeable characters, obvious "twist", and one of the most frustrating endings I have ever read.
  14. I cannot deal with Robin and Barney together. I know I am in the minority on this, but I liked Robin as the together career woman who liked Ted despite herself, but with Barney she was building herself up to supposedly be better than all the women he used as one night stands. I hated it. I missed the Robin in season one who had other female friends that she stood up for. I also hated that she was not into having kids but got with Barney who wanted the kids but did not respect the idea of commitment. They ruined Robin.
  15. All I know is that I would not buy the car that shows the commercial with the "Fight Song" by Rachel Platton playing. Lady, you are driving to work. Not that dramatic. Also, I hate that freaking song.
  16. Or people just don't care for that kind of joke, because it is over played and seen on Tosh.0 or the like easily. Different strokes, ya know?
  17. Watching the OC back in the day, I didn't love or really like Marissa Cooper, but instead of seeing her as an annoying poor little rich girl, I saw her as a teenager who was depressed. So I did not hate her as much as a lot of people.
  18. Nope not just you, it is a very Lana inspired song. Here is a mash up of Wildest Dreams with Without You: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LvG_pGSZBxo It is funny, because Bad Blood sounds like a Katy Perry song to me, Wildest Dreams like Lana, and then Out of the Woods sounds really Chvrches like to me. Say what you will about Taylor, but she really understands what is working in pop music lately.
  19. Speaking of back to school commercials, do they still play the Staples' "Most Wonderful Time of the Year" commercial? That one used to always be my mom's favorite when I was a kid.
  20. I actually disliked Samantha on Sex and The City. Carrie too, but I think is she pretty widely disliked. Kim Catrall's hammy delivered bugged me, and Sam did not seem like a real person. She made me laugh at times, but mostly she seemed like a caricature.
  21. I'm sure it won't suck.....but seriously, why go on after that ending?
  22. Also, if you rely on a shared condom box with your roommate as your primary form of contraception, wouldn't you keep an eye on it to make sure there was enough? Plus in my experience, guys tend to prefer to purchase their chosen brand to keep around. Friends was just kind of weird when it came to sex.
  23. I feel like for awhile there KT Turnstall's Suddenly I See was used in every movie with a young female protagonist as she was strolling down the street.
