  1. Jared came into the room of Cirie and Izzy talking, and it was kinda funny the way she talked to him. Told him to get out of the room and that she didn't want him talking to other people about her. She also said that she doesn't trust Red and that Matt hasn't had a conversation with her. Matt explained that his left ear is his better ear. He must be using lip reading in coordination with his hearing aids, as he said he couldn't hear when the BB Voice speaks over the PA system. I haven't caught him telling anyone that he's lip reading, yet. I totes wish I was there having dinner with them. Felicia's food looks delicious. That cracked me up!
  2. Can anyone hear what is being whispered about in the HOH room?
  3. Reilly has a goofy charm about her, so she's quickly becoming one I enjoy watching on the feeds. Her obsession with peanut butter makes me chuckle. Jag was teaching her to juggle last night, and she took to it like a duck to water, so maybe she'll be a good physical competitor. Glad she won HOH.
  4. Pluto is only allowing me to watch Camera 2 right now, which is where I'm seeing the cute animals. I can't access Cams 1, 3 or 4 at the moment. Also, I was really happy to see them add a new puppy in with the other puppy, and then they switched to this sleeping kitten, lol.
  5. Yes, they've been down of over an hour. We started with the Portal to the MultiVerse, and then it switched to puppies, kittens and bunnies.
  6. There was another kitten in with the black kitten but it walked through that MultiVerse Portal in the wall there. Oh, it's back!
  7. It sounds like Matt uses hearing aids... Matt said: “I am not from a deaf family. There is no explanation why — I was just born this way. It was before universal hearing screening was done on newborns, so my parents did not know I was deaf until I was two.” “I was able to read lips early on,” he added. “My mom said that when they programmed my hearing aids and she spoke, I immediately turned my head towards her. Then my dad talked, and I turned my head toward him.” And he doesn't plan on telling the other Hamsters he's really good a reading lips... According to Matt, his ability to read lips is his secret weapon on Season 25 of Big Brother. “I’m definitely not going to let anyone know my little secret, which is lip reading,” he told Sharon Tharp. “I can read anyone’s lips from far away or up close, and I’m not going to let them know that because that’s going to be a huge advantage for me.” https://www.distractify.com/p/matt-klotz-deaf-big-brother
  8. It was odd. I assume Production tries to whip them into a state of excitement for the televised show but other than some of their reactions upon entering the house, they seemed mostly bored. Maybe something weird happened shortly before they taped this episode.
  9. Cirie is a much loved Survivor contestant. I'm sure she has her haters but I feel like there was a lot of love for her in the Survivor discussion threads. I watched her lead a bunch of goats to slaughter on The Traitors but I don't know if I need to watch it happen here, especially because this show moves at a snail's pace compared to Survivor/The Traitors.
  10. I love Cirie but that but that is so lame for them to put her in there with her son.
  11. The backyard looks fun and colorful but OH NO The ScrambleVerse is going to change everything for the hamsters! *cringe*
  12. It's so funny to watch them Toot Their Own Horns about how awesome they're going to play the game, especially after years and years of watching houseguests crash and burn.
  13. How did they get to 25 years from a show that started in 2000? Was there a Time Jump while I was sleeping last night? Is this a Flashback? I think I hear The Smoke Monster outside my window! *screams*
  14. Alison cleaned to indicate to Holston that the image of the barren wasteland on the screen was a lie, not because she thought wiping off the camera would reveal the lush scenery outside. Holston cleaning could maybe fall under "audience deception" but the Show did explain that he had been grieving his wife for 3 years, so I didn't feel like he was of such a pristine state of mind that his cleaning could be explained rationally. Alison's death was even more tragic after Juliette went out and realized the wasteland is the truth, because Alison really did die for no good reason at all. I thought Alison and Holston's stories were an interesting look at how conspiracy theory and grief can lead to irrational behaviors and disastrous results more than I felt like it was merely a story-telling device. But then, Hugh Howey's explanation for projecting the pretty scenery in their visors sounds so silly that maybe I'm imagining there's more depth to this story than he intended. Hugh Howey's interview by Pete Poppers (in the video linked previously) was so lacking in insight into the human condition that I'm a little surprised I enjoyed the Show as much as I did.
  15. Is The Show turning into some kind of soft porn venture for RSW? I guess that explains why he was recast as Alex the Shameless Horn Dog. I'm just here waiting to find out what Chanel's Big Secret is supposed to be, so it's difficult for me to root for Chad and Stephanie's flimsy attempt at conning Sloane. I really hope Wendy gets something more to do than to be sucked into the pit of quicksand that is Johnny/Allie/Chanel. She seems like she could be a fun character with an interesting POV if given the chance. Run, Wendy, run!
  16. NOOOOOOO! I love Zac Tinker. He's about the only actor I actually enjoy watching play a "good guy" on this show.
  17. Today was a nice change of pace after two days of crying for characters who were never going to die. For as much as I enjoy EJ and his petty machinations, I did get a good smile out of Tripp punching his snarky mouth. Wendy continues to amuse me. We'll see how long that lasts. Ava employing Gwen for another ill-advised plot? Sign me up!
  18. They can show me a million and one flashbacks of Kate and Roman being in lurve and I'll still think they're as dull as dishwater. In theory, I like the idea of mining history for current storylines but there's nothing about this Orchid Redux that feels thoughtful or introspective, especially for mature characters who could be having interesting conversations about life and death. Let me guess....Brady has to marry Kristen in order to save Marlena and her BFFs.
  19. Oh, is she going by Wendy? At least they're having Li call her by her birth name. I thought Remington Hoffman was good in those scenes with her. One of the few times I didn't feel like I was watching him "acting". How curious that the Show mentioned The Manchurian Candidate on the day of Lansbury's passing. She was chilling in that film. Probably my favorite performance of hers. I don't know if it was intentional but I liked how Stefan's flashback to a Gabi moment was dark and cloudy, like a real memory. I keep forgetting that Stefan had a more rigid personality and get slightly confused as to why I'm seeing Brandon Barash on my screen and he isn't behaving like Jake. Unless the Show Runners were lying, I don't think they found out until right before the audience was told of the switch over. This would have been filmed at least 6 months ago, and the scenes written even before that. I'm assuming NBC would have edited out what They didn't like and left more to the audience's imagination. They had been editing the Show for quite awhile, from my understanding.
  20. She was so good on ATWT, so I'm cutting her some slack. Plus, They keep giving her these overwrought, emotional scenes without any kind of development, so I can see why her performance feels OTT. But, yeah, she's just not doing great work trying to be Jennifer. So it was Clyde? I guess it wasn't as stupid as Jan killing Charlie but it still didn't feel like a satisfying resolution. I did appreciate James Read's dry delivery of the gory details, because Clyde has been a criminal for as long as we've known him, so I don't think this murder was anything out of the ordinary for him. If They had spent some time with Nancy's wounded ego after Craig, and Clyde making her feel attractive again, then MAYBE I could have given a damn about their relationship falling apart but Nancy and Clyde were so rushed and peripheral that I couldn't bother with all of those crying scenes with Bonnie. Plus, Bonnie. Ugh. It still pains me that Judi was one of my favorite characters on Guiding Light, and now I can barely stand to watch her.
  21. Is there a Fall Preview video airing somewhere? I just put my Episode on Pause on Peacock, and got a Promo for all kinds of stuff that looks to be happening this Fall. Li's sister? A Li and Gabi wedding that will probably go badly. Some kind of car crash with Jennifer, Ava and another character. Chanel was a murderer in the past? Something with Sloane bringing up Chanel's past to Paulina. I saw Mike, Tripp and Kayla in Heaven. It all went by so quickly but I usually try to avoid Spoilers because they make the show even more boring than usual.
  22. The thing that really sucks is that I was paying before the Show left NBC, and it would skip a couple of the commercial breaks. Now, I'm getting longer commercial breaks and it doesn't skip any of them. Is it possible that someone else murdered Abigail, and Craig just did the thing to Sonny when he was worried Leo might "get away" with it? I really hate the idea of Craig being the murderer. Color me surprised that Stefan and Abigail's sordid past was acknowledged. I wondered if They would gloss over that. It seemed like part of the reason Stefan was killed off in the first place was because Stefan raped Abigail. Gwen and Leo make me chuckle. I was kinda hoping she was going to help him but, yeah, it was her turn to rat him out to Rafe. For as much as I love Cody McClain, her incarnation of Jennifer feels forced. I really wish They would have given her a character she could make her own, rather than fit into the mold of someone who's been on the Show for decades. Oh well.
  23. It's even more annoying if you remember that Kristen had Susan's teeth fixed before Susan took Kristen's place in prison years ago. Then, without any explanation, They went back to Susan having those awful teeth. What the What? Did They actually have Maggie compare her marriage to a criminal (Victor) to Sarah's marriage to a criminal (Xander)? I don't recall that being acknowledged before. For as much as I don't care about Nancy and Clyde, I did appreciate that many of her assumptions about his wrongdoing were connected to her recent betrayal and breakup with Craig. But why are we supposed to care about Clyde proposing to her? These characters are rarely onscreen. Just as I was relieved that They were crossing Leo's Ex off of the list of murder suspects, They drop Craig Anvils all over the place. If it's Craig, that's just as bad as it being Darius.
  24. "...and hopefully we learned from our mistakes. Yeah, hopefully". I thought that was a hilarious theme for an episode which includes Sarah having another meltdown over Xander's treachery, Orpheus being arrested as he takes another swing at being a Dastardly Villain, and Nicole on a collision course with the destruction of another marriage. I'm going to have to go with Orpheus being so heartbroken over the death of his wife that he actually needs these silly plots to keep her alive in his heart. It doesn't make it that much more fun to watch but it does kinda-sorta add a tragic element to it. Agreed. But isn't it funny how the human mind is plagued by these kinds of contradictions? It's not even just Soap Opera Characters who are driven by the next dramatic scene, as I observe this phenomenon in my every day life, too.
  25. It was odd to me that the picture display on Peacock for the Show was of Ben and Ciara. It wasn't that before the switch, and those characters aren't on anymore. I kinda loved that Ava and Johnny didn't indulge in Sexy-Times but they seemed to establish a closer bond with each other, and then moved out together. I love EJ being absolutely frustrated with everything in his life right now, and DF's acting choices make it all the more delicious for me. Stephanie explaining to Alex that his Cave Man tactics aren't attractive is fun but it's so obvious she's going to soften her opinion of him. These silly plots with Orpheus could actually be interesting if They did some character work in the midst of them. But No, it's just Orpheus twirling his mustache until they all figure out how to save the Damsels In Distress. Galen Gering is basically an Underwear Model. Why is he wearing a t-shirt when better actors have to do awkward shirtless scenes?
