This seemed odd and out of character for Rufus. Jiya was honest with him, which I'd think he'd be glad about.

My guess is that they wanted to establish Jiya no longer telling him about her premonitions so we can go through the rigmarole of her not telling him something he should know and its devastating consequences.  But for a guy who's traveling through time and causing changes to his timeline, it seemed more like a WOW-I-want-to-learn-more-about-that moment than please-no-more moment.  Although, human beings can be walking, talking contradictions, so I guess I'll use that for my suspension of disbelief this time.

  2. Rufus could have been fascinated with the way the Universe course-corrected him not shooting Scarface, instead of being mad at Jiya.  I know I was.  And hasn't Wyatt killed plenty people when they're on their missions?  I didn't understand why Rufus was so upset to see a guy die.

I wonder if the show will have them trying to teach Ryn about wrong and right in the human world.

They've already started.  Ben told her she shouldn't hurt people after she threw Maddie across the room, and questioning Ryn about the guy in the car was likely headed in a similar direction.

It seemed like Maddie may have excused the slaying of the guy in the car after she realized he was sexually assaulting Ryn.

  4. Poor Ryn.  Those silly humans are trying to poison her mind with concepts like trust and love.  Run for the water, Ryn!  There's nothing to see here!

Xander and Calvin made a better comedy team than I expected.  And, I appreciated that Xander admitted that he didn't really know what he's doing.  That sounds like every day of my life.  Thank you, Xander.

Also enjoyed Ben's brother asking how their relationship became strained, as that would be something a brother would feel and a fine attempt at emotional manipulation.  Was it emotional manipulation?

  5. The reviews I read were the lure but Eline Powell is what hooked me.  As others have said, she's owning this show.  Alex Roe is passable as a male lead, although he does come to life a bit more when sharing a scene with Powell.

This could be a fin exploration of other-ness.

Deadline reports that the show scored FreeForm its highest ratings in 2 years, and did well across social media platforms.

  6. Bradley makes it so easy to hate him, and I was one of the very few who liked Chrissy last season.

James seemed like a loyal guy to play with, so I don't know what Angela was thinking.  And, WTF Michael???

  7. Interesting exchange between the LVP and Rinna about Rinna being less engaged.  They're all there to play the Housewives game, and they know it.  I wonder if LVP was giving Rinna a little "wink, wink, nudge, nudge" to go back to her old ways.  Someone has to do it!

Dorit is picking up Rinna's slack, but who's better at stirring the pot?

I forget this is the guy who Chris says he saw sniffing sharpies at the airport.  Makes a lot of sense now.

Interesting.  I think he looks stoned out of his mind most of the time, which is weird because they've been out there for so many days.  But maybe he has a sharpie hidden in his bag?

  9. I loved the shot of Sebastian's tongue crawling up the side of his face at Tribal.  And then, I thought his eyes were going to roll back and he was going to fall over after Michael made his pitch.

    Still rooting for Ken!

I think the Teddi Bear nickname is intentional—as in, this woman is a teddy bear and not a real threat. To anyone. Except maybe Erika, a bear who shall not be poked except you don’t know when you poke it.

Why do you think Erika dislikes Teddi so strongly?

  11. Aren't Erika's closest friends a bunch of paid sycophants?  And she's giving Dorit advice on how she should manage her friendships?  Good grief.

Oh, Teddi.  When Erika barked across the table at her like a rabid dog, I think I felt the room spinning around me, too.  I loved that the Show reminded us of Erika chewing on Eileen last season.  But Eileen was able to help Erika with her "career" so I believe it when Erika says she won't ever apologize to Teddi.

Has anyone gone head-to-head with Erika and walked away the victor?  I think Dorit tried last season but it seems like Erika kept her title.

Kyle's backyard was so charming in a way that I almost didn't believe she was in Los Angeles.

She's raising another Bethenny, another socially inept human being who won't be able to trust anyone, and will torpedo relationships for sport.

It would likely be a big victory for her if Bryn turns out to be just (or mostly) like her.  I can't imagine that Bethenny would really want to raise a child who would challenge her way of looking at the world.  I know I wouldn't if I was her.
