Funny episode, but that was definitely a holdover from last season. I recognized audience members from a previous episode.

The scene where the guy walks up to the patrol car and fires point blank at the cop in the driver's seat. Just like what happened today, except that it was 2 policemen sitting in their patrol car who were killed.

I wasn't referring to the robbery scene. CBS might pull the episode on their own without any backlash. Removing it from VOD, their streaming app, future rerun schedule, etc...

If you haven't seen this episode yet, you might want to do it soon before CBS pulls it for good. The actions today in Brooklyn, NY, where a man ambushed 2 police officers and killed them, was eerily similar to a situation that happened in this particular episode. I haven't heard if CBS has received any backlash yet, but I'd imagine it's on their minds.

It is coming back. The voice-over during the end credits said that show will be returning late next year.

He shares the same name as Jacob "Jake" Peralta.

I used to love discovering British shows on BBC America. It's where I found out about The Office, My Family, and Gavin & Stacey. After watching them on cable and then later buying them on DVD, I found out that BBC America was editing these episodes in order to fit into a 30-minute time slot with commercials. I became annoyed at this and basically gave up on the channel...until I heard about a show called Orphan Black. Now, that's the only thing I ever watch on there.

I liked this episode a lot. It was basically a prequel to the very first episode.

Funny episode! Loved that one of the guys Andy and Lance refer to as "Simon and Garfunkel" is named Paul. Also, really liked seeing Johnny Flynn of Scrotal Recall (http://forums.previously.tv/forum/1245-scrotal-recall/) show up. Had no idea he was a singer, too.
