  1. Yup. Richard Chamberlain. Mmmmhmmmmm!! Had a crush on him when I was about 6 and he was Dr. Kildare. The grown-up me loved the grown-up him in this movie even more! Barbara Stanwyck was so good too.
  2. Yes, the Denzel Washington award was the event that put me over the edge with Julia Roberts. It was HIS award, and she kept hanging all over him. That and the way David Letterman is so flirty with her --ack!
  3. I just started watching this season, so I don't know all the characters. The two printed dresses were horrible -- way too busy. I liked the neoprene guy's stuff, but they are not for the QVC customer. I also liked the one black dress.
  4. I just saw the Isaac Kleenex today too! Did not know that Alyssa Milano was the inspiration for Ariel, The Little Mermaid. I think I am glad I did not know that. How is she qualified to be a judge on this show?
  5. I liked the bottom of that dress, 27bored, but I agree with you -- I was not that impressed. I'm not a fan of slabs o' shine (sequins?). She is so straight up and down that the top part was not a flattering look IMO.
  6. I love it when someone wins who the TPTB didn't "expect" to win, and the winner has to walk allllll the way from the back of the room!! You know, JLo puts the boobs out there, so if Jeremy Renner comments on them, so be it. She has a rocking body and she knows it.
  7. I thought Amal looked a bit nervous, so maybe George was being protective. She is such a smart and accomplished woman, but this scene may be a little weird for her. Benedict Cumberbatch -- don't understand the "hunk" love for him. He is nice looking, but no George Clooney! lol. And obviously YMMV. I can't believe how thin these actresses are!! They must live on lettuce, cigarettes, and exercise.
  8. Julianne Moore has a great figure, but I did not like the dress. Too plain and too shiny.
  9. Giuliani's crush on George Clooney is getting to be embarrassing. "Let it go" a bit, G!
  10. Again with the huge entourages -- who probably only want to be on TV. What do you expect when you bring TWELVE people to your appointment??? SMH
  11. I had to mute most of the Jill Zarin stuff. Wasn't this supposed to be about Jill's DAUGHTER??????? Not JILL ZARIN???? I can't stand her and I cannot believe she (possibly with daughter's permission) is using her daughter to get herself JILL ZARIN on TV again. My head was about to explode. Shameless.
  12. I have only watched this show sporadically, but Stassi has always annoyed me. Why is she on the show when she no longer works at the restaurant? She seems obsessed with Jax and is in everyone's business. Jax looks too old, greasy, and dirty.
  13. Sam has been on ShopHQ repping a line (One World?) there, and he is just as delightful as he is on this show.
  14. I liked the borrowed dress that Marcie chose. It was a little simpler, and less structured than the new dress she liked, but I loved the back and the fact that it included part of her mom's dress. She had a great figure for shiney satin, too!
  15. I loved the dress bride Diana (?) chose in tonight's ep. She was debating between boho or structured. The dress she chose suited her figure so well. Also loved the dress that bride with conservative dad chose. Loved the bodice and the sheer sleeves. Couldn't figure out if they were going to raise the sheer part that went down to her bum in the back, though!
  16. I give the side-eye to the "OCD" woman. I hate it when people use that term without really knowing how debilitating real OCD can be. She just sounded picky to me.
  17. UGH to Leno!!!!!! Really, Craig? You disappoint me. I thought Intern Ross was funny with Craig.
  18. Casual SNL viewer, although I try to watch every week. I only saw the monologue from "who finishes a race and then is told to run," so I missd the NYC Marathon connection, which I agree might have hit too close to home. I thought the monologue was funny. I too wonder who would want to have spot in the new tower in NYC! Not proud of that, but I totally get it. I did not understand the married couple sketch ( never heard of Ulner or whatever it is), except to note that they'd been married awhile and bickered. Did not like Prince. I know he's an icon, and I live in MN, but I could not understand him and there was too much guitar solo. I can't remember specifics, but I laughed a lot during this episode!
  19. No. Kids. Stretching the Project Runway theme too far. Let kids be kids. Cannot watch.
  20. Oh yes, 1984 bride here and I know my dress would be too modest and not "form-fitting" (sexy) enough for these brides! Who knows what the styles will be in another 30 years? I do get a kick out of the moms who gasp when Kelly takes the scissors to their dresses, though!
  21. That guest designer had a show of her own at one time. I don't know if it was only a pilot, or a limited- run series, but I remember her.
  22. The dress that Mark Zunino designed for Courtney (QVC) is not the dress she wore at her wedding. (Also his design.) I think the SYTTD episode was a fraud. She ended up in a short dress covered with a long tulle skirt that could be removed for the reception. Can you say Publicity?????
  23. I so agree, Stafford. Once I saw that this was a celebrity episode with manufactured drama, I turned to another channel. I'm all about the dresses, not the "plots" or drama.
