  1. Jackson: "Max built a wall around me." Max: "I wanted to make my room great again."
  2. Before S24, I knew of Fifth Harmony and liked some of their songs (All in My Head) but honestly couldn't name any of its members. 10 weeks later, I have to say Normani won me over and had a great run - the best of the season, easily. Not only that, but she showed herself to be humble, sweet, caring, gracious, and hard-working (considering her rigorous tour schedule during the first few weeks). I hope this saga brings good things Normani's way; she certainly deserves them. But wow. When I watched her Contemporary routine I didn't know the story behind it at all, as I just watched the dance. So the bullying was from supposed fans of Fifth Harmony? This interview with Normani added more color for me as well. Shame on the thousands (millions?) of people who could behave so atrociously, and kudos to her for how she's pressed forward.
  3. Came here to say the same thing - Jodie and Keo should be proud of that samba, and it should've been more than a 1-point improvement over last week.
  4. I seriously can't believe Disney/ABC would be affiliating themselves with this guy and his brother Nash. These guys do have their own 'success' story, I suppose (they landed in the right place at the right time on a new 'media channel' whose use has skyrocketed among tween girls who probably shouldn't have smartphones), but their true personalities seem pretty rotten. Girls think they're cute and pay massive amounts of money to meet them (see: the MagCon tour), but turn a blind eye to their vile actions and words (Nash Grier has a particularly bad history). I hate myself for knowing as much as I do about these guys, but I also seriously hope Hayes is voted off first.
  5. Wow. I'm glad Rumer is safe, but this outcome isn't what I wanted (or expected) at all. Nastia had a great week and I actually wanted to see her freestyle with Derek/Sasha. This feels so, so wrong.
  6. For the first time this season, Janel actually got my votes. That paso was fantastic - possibly my favorite dance of the season, and I'd really like to see her and Val escape 4th place. It would also be nice to see Val outlast Derek, which has never happened before (I still wish it had happened with Zendaya). Ultimately, I expect Alfonso and Sadie to be winner/runner-up, but Janel has really proven herself and I'd be happy to see her in 3rd (or even 2nd) place behind Alfonso.
  7. Not exactly. They had a very similar challenge in the All-Stars season when there were 14 chefs left. The chefs were divided into 2 teams of 7 and each chef competed head-to-head with another - the first team to reach 4 points won. It was particularly memorable because Jamie refused to serve her dish (knowing how bad it was), and the challenge ended before she and Mike Isabella had to serve anything. The judges never tried her food and she wasn't up for elimination. That said, I'm happy things went differently in this episode, since Aaron completely deserved the schooling he got from Katie and Hugh. That wouldn't have happened if the war had ended sooner.
  8. As soon as Tom began praising CJ's versatility (and basically everything else compared to Tiffani), I knew CJ had won. Still - ugh.
