Why is there so much hatred and vitriole towards overweight people? I have PCOs and am on Prednisone all the time for asthma and sarcoidosis, and I am not a thin girl. PCOS is difficult to manage. I work out and try to be healthy, but the only time ai was ever skinny was when I was extraordinarily ill with the sarcoidosis. Whitney is immature, I am sure she has food issues (who doesn't?), and I can see how her father's attitude can be very destructive to her self-esteem. That is why she is such an attention-seeker. So she's somewhat irritating. But liking pasta and pizza does not make her a bad person.

I am watching "Barefoot Contessa" now and I am comparing Ina Garten to Danielle. Ina is a full figured woman (as am I), but it doesn't change how gorgeous she is. She is always glowing. Her hair is perfect and her affect is always happy. Danielle should take some lessons from the beautiful Ina.

So much to say...Michelle is the biggest control freak I have ever seen. She is much like my mother who has also suffered bulimia and anorexia. The cutting of the doughnuts was so telling. She needs to have that control, and yes, a little sabotage. Michelle just can't let things go. My mother once scraped the frosting off a piece of my cake because it was just too much for her to not have control over what I eat. I see this with Michelle. Watching Mary with Amy and Deanna showed me exactly why she lives with the Duggars. Amy doesn't need her. Amy has a normal, happy life. I think Mary is on abuse watch and does the laundry to spare the J'slaves. She is a saint to do it and a true grandmother. One more thing. I noticed that when Michelle was talking about Amy she said, "My kids love her." She left out, "I love her." I think Auntie Michelle is not thrilled with Amy.
