  1. This is what MJ did in Season 8, and why she's the most vile person on this show by a mile. Because she demands to be the #1 person in Reza's life (no exceptions), she saw some things that she felt she could turn into a rumor/proof that Reza's husband was cheating on him. She orchestrated and pushed this story so that Reza would be pissed at Adam and hopefully leave him since Adam was getting FAR too much attention in Reza's life. This all happened while she was pregnant. So in the middle of this happening, she has a horrible birth and everything goes wrong, her life was in danger, etc, etc. This is what MJ's problem is and why she needs to go. Because she had a near tragic experience, she feels that any "crime" she committed against Reza or anyone else, should basically be forgiven and forgotten without any acknowledgment or apology from her. Watch and listen to all she says during this reunion, and how that was the only thing that should matter. She's pissed that even though she actively tried to break up his marriage, and got caught, that since she was "dying" that Reza should just have forgotten about everything and been there at the hospital no matter what. also notice when Tommy sacked their house, he reacted to what MJ told him (which were lies). which caused that entire scene. And with Reza at the pool party. Although he said really nasty things to her, it was in response to her being a twat and her attacking Adam. in the heat of the moment and in anger he said awful things. but again not like it came out of nowhere. it was an emotional reaction. Not even close to the same thing as the thing she did to Reza which were all plotted and calculated. she's a manipulator and con-artist. Reza knows what she's doing but has affection for her anyway and has been willing to sort of wipe it out anyway, and i wish he'd just drop her. She brings out the worst in him.
  2. I wish someone would finally call MJ out for her fundamental flaw. She cannot stand to be anything but the #1 person in Reza's life. Her jealousy is just plain ridiculous. Anytime Reza would close to Asa, GG, or anyone, MJ would, after lashing out, orchestrate events to ruin Reza's relationship with X. Unfortunately even Reza's husband is not exempt as even THAT bothers her. It's the most mentally unhealthy trait i've ever seen in a person. But look season after season this is what she does and i wish the other shahs would correctly recognize this and call her out to her face, so people can start blowing her off when she does it, rather than just get more frustrated.
  3. The consistent theme of this show is most of the Guys and their families literally having no concept of what the girls are giving up and sacrificing to be in the US. And Jonathan's mother is the dirt worst at that. unfortunately i think it has a lot to do with them seeing these Latina girls as animals or statistics instead of fully functioned people and their view of foreigners is people huddling around huts hating Americans and dreaming about tricking their way in. But Mr. Self-Centered Jonathan going on how unfair Fernada was for not letting him have a drink for 45 minutes after working 14 hours. That's the entire issue. He wasn't gone for 45 minutes, he was gone for almost 15 HOURS. She is there literally alone like solitary confinement. She's not a toy you can put in the closet and flip the switch when you get back home. his family disrespects and hates her, his friends are all racist and she don't know her way around Chicago and isn't about to start driving around exploring and finding new friends, she has 90 friggin days to be with him and get married and he's stressed out about work? well relieve your stress with your fiance not some Playmobil looking judgemental schmuck! I say no foul on her part for being mad at him, and the fact that he couldn't grasp why is a big issue. That all being said i recall in older episodes his friends and family being more shocked in him wanting to get married to anyone. Sounds like he's used to going on constantly, like multiple days a week and dating all sorts of girls, poker with the guys, strip clubs with the guys, grinding with random girls even if you're not 100% interested, etc, etc. so i also wouldn't expect him to just change overnight. But there needs to be a lot more understanding, particularly of people putting themselves in the shoes of the girls who are here now. Imagine if one of you traveled to Saudi Arabia or somewhere, a complete no-man land to you other than from movies, and your one lifeline, the person you are there for, is sitting there grinding with someone else, reminding you how replaceable and expendable you are legally and emotionally. Yeah she's a hothead but I can't blame her under the circumstances. HIs mother just acts like Fernanda is some homeless street hooker back home and can't grasp how this girl's mother lovers her daughter more than anything and cannot see her own daughter's wedding because she's marrying an American. These American families, my God...
  4. Here's the overall problem. Kalani got knocked up by a guy she met on vacation. So in return, this guy moved to another country to take care of this baby, wants to marry her, be with her forever and have even MORE children. And in exchange this f'd up family treats him like Satan. Did I miss the point where a man wanting to take responsibility and altering his life to be with a woman and new child is the WRONG thing to do??? would this family of miscreants prefer he ignore, deny the baby is his, not want to touch her and not want to be in the baby's life??? I'll tell you why, because this Uncle Tom of a father is straight up racist. To breed such scorn in your own children to hate their own race and culture is disgusting. (and its quite obvious the sister Lala got a nose job to look as white as possible, on top of the light foundation they cake on their faces. #selfloathing.) And to name your Samoan daughters with HAWAIIAN names because you clearly want people to think you are Hawaiian??? This loser should take a page out of Dwayne Johnson's playbook and be proud of your Samoan blood. And that blob of a brother of hers and the siblings judging Asuelu for his baby caring abilities. As far as the little things, they all had months to learn how to care for the baby, Asuelu had like two hours of being around this baby and they were already claiming he's an unfit father and shouldn't be married. As for carrying the baby on his shoulders as unsafe, Asuele is a TYPICAL SAMOAN. The toughest people on Earth. As they judge how he plays with his son, they should ask themselves why Samoan boys have like a 10,000 greater chance of playing in the NFL or in professional rugby leagues worldwide. Raising your Samoan baby like a faberge egg is going to create a disaster of a kid who would get eaten alive by Samoans back home and in Utah. What's unfortunate is Cheeto hands really seems to be into Asuelu, sincerely. But whenever around this Samoan-hating family of hers, she always falls back to pleasing them and assumes this victim role to get more attention and sympathy. #saveasuelu
  5. Past couple seasons have been weak and this finale was like the Mad Men finale, glad it's over because it needed to be put down. What a great moral for this show: Donna screws over everyone and wins. She cheats on Gordon multiple times, she lies to Diane and screws her in the Mutiny IPO situation and even though it tanks she still ends up with an executive job w/the new company. Then she steals Gordon and Joe's idea for a search engine and somehow acquires Cameron's algorithm for Rover so they win and she gets a slap on the wrist, she almost kills Boz, and then Diane rewards her with all of this by offering the entire company to her. Then since Gordon dies Cameron and Joe feel bad and end up befriending her again, so she wins no consequences. And then despite her treating Gordon like crap all the way to his death and ignoring her kids they end up coming back to her anyway (for no real reason). And then it finally happens. Cameron begs her for a job and to work together again and Donna's like eah? no thanks. So this is a loose timeline and i might've gotten things not exactly correct, but this is the overall moral arc. Donna screwed over everyone and makes a speech to women about how she screwed everyone, but it's ok because she's successful and that's what you have to do as a woman. So in the end she wins on every level. She has all the power, all the money, and the freedom to create new companies with Cameron while Joe is teaching the Sweathogs. This ending completely sucks. Donna should've lost at the end of this show, but instead she wins in the worst way possible. They filmed this last year, was this supposed to be like a metaphor for Hillary since they were probably expecting her to win at that time? I'm generally confused that a show starts out as a partnership between Gordon and Joe on big ideas and it ends up with Gordon dead, Joe teaching marketing to 7th graders, while Donna and Cameron get to make all the ideas. Sucked! Halt & Catch Fire, good riddance! Joe McMillan. Goes home to be a teacher? lame. very lame. Another thing, why would he pack it in because Yahoo made the deal with Netscape first? At that time and up until present day we all know there is room for more than one search engine, why would he quit so easily? Joe should've positioned to run something major in Silicon Valley or founding Google or Amazon or somebody. but no matter what, Joe McMillan should've retired the richest and most successful man in the world. His vision is ahead of everyone, so what good would it do to teach a bunch of young kids, all for them to ignore him and do something else. complete waste. this show was built around Joe and his supreme vision and motivation and it turned into how Donna can screw everyone over and win with zero vision and no motivation but opportunities just come to her kitchen. Very lame final season. this was a series that should've ended after Season One.
  6. Mike. Evidently sleeps around a lot and at least Reza seems very aware of it. Likely wanted to marry Jessica figuring it might "cure" or ground him. Also probably figured a wife might improve his career since he doesn't seem to be very good at selling real estate. Golnesa. She's a female stud who plows through bad boys, because she's the biggest badass walking. She's a pit bull that everyone is afraid of physically or verbally. She's so hard yet she has a vulnerable side that the right guy can reach. Yeah, right! Golnesa is the biggest phony, the biggest faker. She thinks she's all these things yet no one else thinks that at all. No one is afraid of her, no one is impressed by her and I didn't even touch upon her obsession with Mike. Ever since Mike was dating her sister when she was a teenager she's carried a torch and to this day is furious that Mike is sleeping with every woman in Southern California except her. MJ. Because of her tough relationship with her mother, has major self-esteem issues so she dates the schmuckiest guy she can find, and even he cheats on her! But because her relationships are always doomed, she goes out of her way to instigate and sabotage everyone else's relationship. Whether it be doing everything in her power to get Reza to have sex with other dudes at his bachelor party despite her supposedly caring about Adam, or starting that whole s-storm with GG and her BF from last season, she simply cannot stand to see any of her friends have a happy relationship. Reza is her best friend and she is viciously jealous of Asa who is also Reza's best friend and she can't stand it because Asa offers things she can't, so she also goes out of her way to split Asa and Reza up out of pure immature childish jealousy. And Asa and MJ's past friendship will always take a backseat to MJ's petty jealousies. Jessica. Typical girl raised that being a wife is the ultimate goal in life. She found her husband in Mike and believes she can change him to suit her needs which requires him to dump his friends. A season ago I hated her for this. This past season I see that as unlikable as she is, she is correct to want to get Mike away from them. They are awful people. Asifa and Bobby. She just can't get over him sleeping with her "friend" years ago and wants to punish him daily rather than just deal with the pain and get over it. This is a treadmill that will continue for years until something changes. Bobby clings to hope that she actually will stop with the crap which is why he sticks around. While it meant nothing to him, Asifa won't change until he at least acknowledges the hurt that he caused from dating that gym girl. Reza. He is the center of their universe. All of the cast snipe at each other year after year, all to bathe in Reza's glow. And when they are able to be embraced by it once again, they will do anything to stay in that light which usually manifests as singling out someone else and making sure Reza's wrath is directed at anyone but them. And notice how powerful they feel when they are at Reza's side. Shervin. Shervin is the greatest guy on this show, he's the only one with any sense, is even-tempered and super nice. I have no idea why he's wasting his time with these truly horrible people.
  7. Think about it guys. GG has all the leverage. Mike was engaged and is now married. If Mike banged GG or they came anywhere close to it, what can he possibly say without outright admitting to his wife that he had sex with GG or almost did. Either way Jessica would have every right to Asifa the crap out of Mike for 7 years. So Mike has to sit there while GG unleashes on him with her stupid noises and faces, and as wonderful as it would be for those of us who hate GG for him to reveal that GG had willing consensual sex with him, which would vindicate himself to Asa and all the others, it would come at the cost of his marriage. Mike's behavior makes perfect sense. What bothers me is why none of them bothered to ask GG why she's so determined for the "truth" to come out. I was so happy when Mike pointed out how GG wanted her for so long and it seems so obvious to all of us but no one on the show. I think Reza, Asa, and the others are too close to the situation because it's clear as day that GG is completely jealous of her sister, Jessica, and everyone else that Mike sleeps with.
  8. This is what frustrates me about this show, and now the reunion. Why won't anyone call out Golnesa on her obsession with Mike, and if this "hook-up" was so one-sided why was she giggling, laughing and snuggling and most importantly, WHY THE F WAS SHE IN A HOTEL ROOM ALONE WITH MIKE IF SHE WAS SO UN-INTERESTED. It frustrates me to no end that no one is asking her these questions or pointing out that she failed her 1st lie detector test. It is painfully obvious to me that GG has carried a torch for Mike ever since he dated her sister decades ago and the source of all her frustration is that Mike is having sex with everyone but her. When you put it all together, maybe Mike IS onto something and maybe GG set the whole situation up. if the Bravo crew didn't tape them going to the hotel room, then who did? Maybe GG placed her phone or had someone tape them walking to the room, just so she could bring it up this season to humiliate Mike and end his engagement. And again, why isn't anyone asking GG why she happily trotted into an engaged man's room at 3am? And while it's crystal clear that GG is jealous and wants to break up the engagement, one thing no one counted on was that Jessica is more determined to be a wife than LeBron James is to win a championship for Cleveland. You heard her jump out of that plane "I'm going to be a wife!" She picked her guy and she's sticking with it no matter what. And she's certainly not going to let GG break it up. And why break off an engagement when you can make your husband's life a living Hell and get whatever you want?
  9. I'm done with this show, the unlikablilty of the entire cast has gotten out of control, and I fell like the bad guys are "winning" somehow, when I realize there are no good guys (except Sherwin) GG. A lifetime brat who thinks people think she's tough, cool, and a "player", when she actually has major emotional issues most notably her pining after Mike for a decade and one she finally gets him drunk, alone, and far enough away from Jessica, she uses that to punish Mike for rejecting her all these years. MJ.Is so miserable that her greatest joy is finding creative ways to ruin her friends' relationships and that's all she's got. Asifa and man. Her unlikability is pretty obvious and very surface, no need to elaborate. Jessica. She is the American that gives women a bad name. Marriage is an accomplishment, and as she said at that dinner, she put a lot of hard work into her relationship with Mike, and all these things are building as equity for the misery she's going to put Mike through in their lifetime. I can already picture on their wedding night she'll kiss Mike like Michael kissed Fredo, "I know you F'd GG that night in Turkey MIke, and I'm never going to let you forget it for the next 50 years." She will call all the shots and Mike will obey so guiilt ridden for her conversion to Judaism, GG, his "horrible" friends, etc. MIke. He is so desperate to be a rich, big shot, he is doing anything he can except actually work hard and get mentored by the RIGHT people. He's convinced himself that being married is what he should do and has convinced himself that Jessica is the one. No matter what. The show is all about Mike, MJ, and GG taking turns being pariah and once they get back "in" they will do anything to stay in the favor of others, no matter how many lied detectors it takes. I've even lost it for Reza and Asa for not questining GG's motives enough on the "Turkey incident". and of course I feel bad for Adam since Reza really isn't ready to be married and he'll pay the price for it. At the end of the day, there are far too many unlikeable people screwing people over, not being questioned about it by their friends, and getting away with it. There is no one to "root for" on this show except Sherwin and he's sensible enough to not get involved tood deeply. I used to be intrigued, learning about Persian-Americans and their unique situations like Reza and his dad, but now the show is filled with way too many fluff scenes and what isn't fluff is just frustrating seeing wrong win out. I used to be glued to this show, now I watch it on DVR days later, now I don't want to watch it all ...
  10. I don't think Raylan getting grazed was because of a hat miscalculation, rather proof that Raylan was actually faster. If you assume both men have perfect aim, that means the only way Boon misses is if Raylan actually fired first in the heart, and that impact was enough to throw Boon's aim an inch too high, hence grazing Raylan's skull. Raylan is still the fastest draw in the west!!!!!
  11. No but I believe that GG was handed the opportunity of a lifetime, something she's waited YEARS for, Mike to finally make a real pass at her. And now that that glorious day has finally arrived she is milking it for all it's worth and causing as much damage and havoc, and most of all, attention as can be had. And even if there was a 3D video of Mike doing it with GG, Jessica will not break off the engagement. In her mind, she's put in way too much work including converting to Jewish when she clearly couldn't care less for Judaism, and putting up with Mike's friends who are rude, crude, perverted alcoholics. Being married is pure status and a lifetime goal or achievement, it has nothing to do with being in love or finding her soulmate. That's what's frustrating about the show this season, it's all about rooting for who you despise the least in a given conflict!
  12. Mike is definitely lying/covering up what happened in Turkey but the situation is SO much bigger then whether or not Mike did anything. 1. Is GG's beef that Mike assaulted her or was unfaithful? At first she seemed to imply a crime was committed, but that was likely a way to make sure she got the desired amount of attention from her friends, which is her pattern. At some point it shifted completely to him being unfaithful. Which leads us to this: 2. Why is she so deadset on telling the world Mike was attempting to cheat on his girlfriend? because guys cheated on her? BS! She's known Mike almost her entire life, there is no reason to ruin his potential engagement unless ... 3. Golnesa wants to ruin his engagement to Jessica. First of all she had every opportunity in the past year to bring this up to anyone. First she waits until TV. Then she had weeks and days to talk to Mike or anyone about this. Instead she tells everyone, including new people like Shervin, basically to let them know how "desirable" she is since they're new. Then she waits until a large party with Jessica in attendance before saying something. Notice even after the heat died down from the pool party, she wouldn't let it go even though everyone else was basically ready to move on as Mike is engaged now so who cares? But she is so determined to make sure everyone knows even though a growing number of people do not care because she wants it proven that Mike attempted to cheat on Jessica to ruin his engagement. Why? 4. Attention. Reason number one is since GG is single with nothing going on in her life, because she constantly seeks attention like a toddler, she wants everyone, but most importantly Jessica, that everyone knows that Mike "wants" her more than Jessica. This is a female ego thing. Anyone who was secure would've let this go and moved on, but GG needs everyone to know how desirable she is, but most importantly by Mike. 5. GG is 100% pure jealous of Jessica that Mike is marrying her. Anyone who has watched this show from the beginning knows that GG has been pining over Mike basically her entire teenage and adult life. Ever since Mike dated her sister (who she also mysteriously hates and hasn't spoken with since she may have given Mike a booty call a season or two ago), GG has paraded around boyfriend after boyfriend in front of Mike, constantly trying to make him jealous and always trying to find out what he thinks of them and then losing every time Mike ends up being friends with them. This is pure middle school behavior and that is GG, completely immature. Her life's goal has been for Mike to finally realize that she is the greatest woman on Earth and he is a fool for looking anywhere else. Does anyone actually believe she is "mortified" that Mike made a pass at her? Give me a break ... HERE'S THE REAL TRUTH ON WHAT HAPPENED: After years and years of repelling Golnesa's flirting, advancements and pining, they are in Turkey, they were all very drunk, and Mike was having tension with Reza if I recall so was in a weird place, but that's when Golnesa finally got what she wanted. A drunken Mike made a pass at her. From that point, they either went all the way with it, or GG shut it down. How far it went no one knows, but something clearly happened. But it's important for everyone to realize GG IS NOT INNOCENT, this was either provoked through her years of flirting and him being drunk, or she was 100% consensual and they actually slept together. WHY MIKE WON'T TELL THE TRUTH. To win back Asa, Reza, and the others who are focusing on him "lying" he would have to reveal the whole truth which will point out how GG is not innocent at all and definitely played her part in all this, however he will still be admitting to cheating. So Asa, MJ, REza and everyone will realize what a brat and manipulator Golnesa is in this situation, but guess what, Jessica will also find out he cheated or attempted to cheat on her. What good does that do Mike? His friends believe him and he no longer has a fiancee. That's why Mike says it's a choice between friends and his wife. It's either have your wife at your side with your friends knowing you lied about something, or have your friends know you're 100% honest, but now your fiancee knows you cheated on her. That's why Mike is doing what he's doing. Because at the end of the day, all Golnesa wants is for Mike to break up with Jessica because she will always be jealous of any girl he dates to punish him for not being in love with her. And that's the bottom line. I don't like Jessica at all. She is the classic wife who wants to transform her husband into her image. I don't want Mike to marry her. However I do not want GG to be the reason. Golnesa is clearly passionately jealous that Mike is with Jessica and finally has her "weapon" to break this marriage up wiht the Turkey "incident" For that reason and that reason alone I want Jessica to weather the storm and marry Mike so that Golnesa will lose. Then in a year or two after a 5-day drunken pillfest bender with Reza and MJ, that's when I want Jessica to divorce and free Mike!
  13. Boy if that ain't the truth. It's like they take turns being despicable. So far Shervin is the only guy who has yet to show unlikable traits. Hopefully that sticks and isn't just a once we get to know him, his "real" personality comes out or something.
  14. Jamie & Doug. Everything about Jamie and Doug is exactly the stages of an arranged marriage. LIke everything. This almost seemed like an experiment by the "experts" to see if they could get an attractive woman to stay married to unattractive guy who wasn't rich. The key to the compatibility is that Jamie has so many personal problems and is therefore the most insecure person in the world, that at some point she became more worried that he wouldn't like her, and that's when she was locked in. If not for her issues and for her express request for a guy with a big family this wouldn't have worked. The blond girl and the fireman. Sorry I can't remember their names. That guy is clearly not ready for marriage. He just isn't. It's nothing against her, but he should not be married. She is clearly OVER ready to be married and she used a lot of control techniques and guilt to get him to marry her in the end. Unfortunately this is something that probably makes up 1/2 of the marriages in America. One of the people simply not ready to be married to anyone, and the other manipulating or guilting them into doing it anyway. Vaughn and Monet. I commend them for having the guts to initiate divorce. The show is rigged to make it very difficult to do this. You look like a villain, you look like a failure, and you look insensitive to the other. The honest truth is they were completely compatible, and this is where my biggest problem lies with this show. the only thing they had compatible about them is their fathers had died and they were Black. And that was literally it. It's an unfortunate reality because according to that first episode there were only 30 some people who signed up for this. And unfortunately they were likely the only two African-Americans. so the four "experts" matched them up. I realize for demographic reasons they felt they should go with this couple, but for "humanity" reasons, they should've picked another couple. These two were doomed from the start, it took all of a day or two for them to realize they were not compatible, and then they both end up looking bad because of it.
