  1. I would be very interested in more information about what a conservatorship is, and what they can and can't do. For example, are they even allowed to give updates on Wendy’s private medical information? Adding in a layer of Wendy being a celebrity so anyone could sell the updates to a tabloid, and I'm not surprised the guardian is tight lipped about what is going on.
  2. Complicated! Difficult to watch but a really interesting conversation starter. Shawn-clearly only a user and didn't seem to care about Wendy at all. I thought at first she was just delusional but once she suggested they go to the Oscars, it was like a light bulb clicked that was probably her big goal for the trip, along with trying to force her way into a manager position. Will-complicated feelings on this one. I do think he cared for Wendy, but he was so far out of his depth. Throwing away alcohol isn't controlling her drinking, and he is not a medical professional. I was actually worried about her going into DT withdrawals, but that didn't come up once. The cash in the apartment he gave Wendy was highly suspicious, and I'm guessing came from selling her stuff. Don't like that, and obviously how she is funding her drinking. I'm guessing a lot of stuff has disappeared with the various people in and out of her life. The podcast was a ridiculous farce. The only reason he wouldn't want her to do a pilot was because he knew she couldn't, and his role as business manager would be done. Being unwilling to put out a sample product to sell makes zero sense. Kevin Jr- I felt a lot more sympathy for him than others did apparently. He seemed to me to care for his mother genuinely, not just for her money. But it was also obvious that he wanted a relationship with her that they never seemed to really have. He said she bought his lavish things growing up as a replacement for not being a sober mother. He was incredibly spoiled, but also grew up in incredible disfunction. At the lunch, I thought he grabbed the alcohol purely so his Mom didn't drink it, not that he ordered it. He also was an hour late, but he was late according to Will, who snarkily said Kevin has no respect for their time, when later we find out that Kevin was actually in school. Seemed like possibly a way for Will to knock Kevin down a peg and throw a wedge into their reunion.
  3. Interesting timing, especially since their mother always took the husband's side but had recently passed at this point
  4. Christine has starred in a reality show now for over 10 years. There is no way she is qualifying for Medicaid. The $50k could easily be a year of premiums, plus travel expenses and to cover a high deductible. Christine has herself, Gwen, Isyabel, and Truely to insure, so I could easily see premiums being $2.5k a month for a plan with generous nationwide in-network. That's $30k in premiums alone, plus likely a $10k deductible. Set aside $10k for travel and that $50k is gone fast. I truely hope she didn't sent $50k off to a Samaritan cost sharing plan with the hopes that it *might* get paid.
  5. Does Jill ever use instastories? Maybe Kendra was caught viewing them or accidentally liked a post and earned a follow as penance. I'd imagine Kendra has heard a few "bless her heart" type stories about Jill.
  6. I'm rewatching too! It has been years since I saw the early episodes and what a ride! The public school switch is in season 2 - Robin's kids had to switch to a new school with the move closer to the Lehi compound, so they moved all the kids to public make it easier on Robin's. I always wondered if Robin was so concerned in Las Vegas about the schools, why she didn't just put her three in the same religious school as the rest of the Brown kids. But no, the moved the Brown 13 (or however many were actually in school) to accommodate Robin. Lol Robin isn't even that bad in the first two seasons, but knowing what's to come colors everything.
  7. Maybe I've officially become such an old fuddy duddy, but making a public post to acknowledge the anniversary of the day you announced your pregnancy is weird.
  8. It's appalling how pesky things like basic safety, plumbing and zoning are just non factors in this family.
  9. This is so so so true. If they had been honest from the beginning and considered the needs of all the kids, Dayton should have stayed in a dorm for two years. The "triplets" could graduate in Vegas and they would only have Savannah about to start her freshman year, a better time to move. Dayton could have a chance to thrive with the safety net of on campus support, and see if he really needs to live at home forever. Then they could pick housing needs appropriately.
  10. When Christine said she was a better Mom living apart from the rest of the family, I was so surprised. Reading between the lines, she may have been implying not that she was a better Mom, but that Kody is a better Dad.
  11. Ok, short defense of Monica's techniques. If she tells someone not to compete on the side and they do, they need to be held accountable. By physically punishing him by making him practice, she is using him him as a deterrent for the team. Let's say he gets to sit this one out. How many additional times do you think this would come up on the team? Versus one punishing practice, and all 40 know when Monica says don't compete on the side, you stay in line. To me, addressing the issue one time and putting it to bed is safer overall than dealing with repeat offenses.
  12. Fully agree. It smells like they are a photo prop in their parents' agenda.
  13. The idea of Ms. Pat sitting in Costco flipping through those vacation and water heater pamphlets cracks me up.
  14. Cameron's biggest issue is that she can't break the fourth wall and talk about the show. Why shouldn't she use daycare? She makes a six figure yearly salary at her job on the show. She also does all the voiceovers for the show, so is Palmer supposed to run around unsupervised? I'm sure she get plenty of offers where even if she uses an manager, she still has to keep a finger on the pulse, plus interviews, etc. Without mentioning the show it seems like she has to justify child care when of course she is overwhelmed. Plus I admire anyone who reaches out for help for their own mental health. That is admirable, not something to be ashamed of.
  15. That's the one class that sounded interesting, but in the context it's probably something along the lines of telling the women it's their job to acquiesce.
  16. On Demand, the "What They Saw" episode is 59:48 long. Rearranging the interviews somewhat: Around 38:30: Male detective, day of murder (audio) Was Momma screaming, or Daddy screaming or hollering? Nobody was screaming or nothing? At around 37:40, interview five days earlier than the first interview that aired: Did you hear anything when Daddy was inside? I didn't hear nothing The first interview aired, which is the last shown in the actual timeline, starts around 26:00. At 27:30 the forensic interview is really ignoring laughing and pushing screaming. They should know better, as a good defense attorney would rip the interview to pieces: What'd you hear? Uh laughing, some almost screaming You heard screaming? Uh huh Yeah? Tell me, did you hear, were they just saying, like, screaming noises or something else? Like like laughing screaming The say yes part is yet another interviewer: 39:09 (audio) You remember that? Wispered- say yes. I mean do you remember that? It does seem like the wispered say yes was likely a prompt to say the answer out loud, but they should know better and just ask them to verbalize their answer because a defense attorney could use "say yes" as evidence of coaching. At least three intense interviewers, over four occasions and to me it seems like the story evolves. A kindergartner goes from doesn't remember to an elaborate story about getting out of the car twice, seeing Daddy through the mail slot twice, one time where Dad sees the daughter and tells her to get back in the car, and another time where she sees him holding a white bottle. Those poor children.
  17. It was on video, and the "just say yes" was very under her breath and said very quickly between two questions. There was also a man who was pushing the screaming question. I can't remember exactly but something like was there screaming? And the kids said laughing and he said laughing or screaming? Overall very coached. I thought by the end that he did it, but I would have thrown out the kids' testimony and without that, not enough to convict. I wouldn't be totally shocked if someone else did it, but no one on his side mentioned looking for the real killer either. The real shame was him trying to get custody. Even if he's innocent, those kids have been poisoned to think they heard him kill their Mother and it is not in their best interest to uproot their lives to live with him. And he didn't care that it wasn't in their best interest either.
  18. To paraphrase Arrested Development, one month starting the next month but we'll use 31 days even though it's a 30 day month
  19. I was curious about that too, as it looks like a pic from July 4th. She threw in a line about getting donated miles for a Christmas visit, so maybe it was a last minute subtle donation hint/reminder that Nurie is still available.

  21. The poor kid's name is even worse - Atlee Bay, named after a body of water in Alaska. It's like naming your child Lake, which could be pretty, but then adding Michigan as a middle name. Actually I could see Cate and Tyler using my idea.
  22. Angie has terminal cancer, and a foundation who's motto is "Always be kind". That is not the message I would choose to leave knowing it could be the last thing i told her. Cute Halloween pics of Mac's kids: https://mobile.twitter.com/douthitkenzie/status/1057654823913512962?s=21
  23. A simple thank you goes a long way. I'm betting Kristina is still waiting on that.
  24. Loving post from Mac's Mom on her birthday: Love how she takes MEDICAL ailments and calls her a hot mess. Maybe I'm reading into it from the special, but I would be so beaten down if this was how my mother spoke to me publicly.
