  1. I'm in Hawaii and have heard of the term "crickets" before, as in silence or no communication. But I don't think I ever heard it used in a conversation in real-life, just on television shows or movies. This episode was a mess IMO. I knew the teams would be terrible at the javelin challenge. Then they couldn't find any customers on the first day. For the shake challenge, I would've taken the $25 per vote also, figuring they must have gotten more than 8 votes. And announcing the winner of the week and winner of the challenge could've been done better. Tyler should have announced the Brunch Babes as the winner of the challenge and of the week, and go from there. Someone mentioned the advantages prior food trucks had on the race and a few seasons ago, the winner, Aloha Plate, won because they had a large Hawaiian following in every city they went to.
  2. Thanks! Should be a fun watch when she finally meets everyone else.
  3. I just finished watching this episode and the scene at the end, where Pamela was leaving the bunker and the outside faded to white made me think that she's going to die and we'll never see her again. Has it been confirmed she'll be on future episodes?
  4. Overall, a somewhat boring episode (especially the flashbacks - don't care about them anymore) but I'm glad they quickly revealed that it wasn't Felicity in the grave. I was almost positive it wasn't Felicity since the earlier flashback in the season showed Barry showing up late to the funeral. If it had been Felicity, there's no way he would've been late. When they showed the scene of the entire graveyard, I thought military graveyard right away, since all of the headstones looked in perfect order by rows and columns. Then they showed the closeup of the one headstone with some sort of possible military insignia on it. I thought Diggle right away, or maybe even Lyla, since they're both former military. But Felicity's reaction makes me think Diggle but I really hope not.
  5. I enjoyed the season premiere although if one were to play a drinking game based on every time Chip or Jo said "shiplap", you would've been drunk before half the show was over! I know others don't enjoy the family life portion of the show but I don't mind seeing the kiddos, the farm, etc. The renovations basically follow the same formula on every show - open floorplan, kitchen cabinets to the ceiling, take out any carpet and replace with hardwood, wood project by Clint, extra $ needed from the homeowner to fix an unforseen probem, Jo has to work late the night before the reveal, the homeowners love the house. So seeing something else outside the reno is nice.
  6. Yeah, I was about to say, I think that was someone else, but also a "hippie" type. I think that was Jason with the returning AK?
  7. Yes, both were repeats. My DVR also picked it up because it was labeled as new. The first episode was S4E1. On another "special", Amber said it wasn't the catfish that got her sick, it was apple snails that she said Ryan hadn't cooked all the way through.
  8. Ah, that's right. I forgot that in order to get the clue to where the Pit Stop is, they have to take the penalty then and there. Thanks!
  9. Just watched the first episode last night and it was fairly enjoyable. I'm rooting for Bethany and Adam, since I live in Hawaii. It usually take me a couple of episodes to find a team(s) to root for through the entire race. Question: When the realtors figured out they were going to be last, could they have just turned around and gone back to the Roadblock to see if they could finish it? They might have found it in less than the four hour penalty, since they were so close.
