I kept waiting for one of the judges to criticize the chef who used pre-made refrigerated biscuits instead of making them from scratch. But no, she wound up winning the whole thing.

Well, "Go Team Anybody But Thomas and Mom" or Team Mother and Daughter. They were awful.

Did anyone else wonder why Walker didn't call home and ask for a trailer or two to handle the horses and "llama" since they were having so much difficulty and the kids obviously were going to kick up a fuss about it?

As for Bret living in NYC, I can hear Bonham's voice (although I can't remember which episode) talking to Liam and saying "that man moved halfway across the country for you") which would imply he lives in TX.

I just started watching the show (I've made it 3 episodes in so far) and I just read this forum... So a dog is going to get killed? That may be the breaking point for me. I'm one of those squishy people who don't care how many people are blown up in a movie, you'd better not hurt the dog.

I wasn't sure if the bakers were supposed to replicate the costumes on their " dates" or be inspired by them... Tati seemed to go with the inspiration route, and her cake benefited from it. But since the judges didn't see the "dates" they had no idea what they looked like or how closely the cakes matched.

I'm halfway expecting this to be another one of Malcolm's nightmares.

I could have sworn that in at least one of the earlier episodes the Brunch Babes DID buy pre-made doughnuts to use (I think it was when they were making one of their sandwiches).

So is the season over?

If I'm standing in line and someone I don't know comes up and tries to hug me they won't be getting my business.

When the designers go to meet the clients for the first time, before going to the inspiration house, why do they lug along a small suitcase over their shoulder? It looks as though they don't actually use anything in there until the next day. I wouldn't carry around a huge tote/briefcase if I didn't have to.

I truly wish that everyone with long hair would pull it back before cooking. I keep waiting for one of the judges to pull a hair out of their mouth while they're tasting the food.

Hi --- New to posting here but I've been reading all the pages. In response to comments about how bad a leader Sam is that he sent Maggie out on a hunt all by herself, well it had to be her and she had to be alone. Maggie is the only AU female character who has been shown repeatedly, and the only one that Dean might care a little about rescuing (seeing as how he got her through the vampire-infested tunnel and walked her to the settlement in the AU). Now I'm not saying logically she should have been alone in a cemetery at night, but I'm saying from a fast and easy story writing perspective it makes sense. (Not defending the writing, just pointing out why it had to be Maggie.)

I've been enjoying the show; both the low-key drama and the actual high-level bona fides of the bakers. But I only found this thread by accident -- it really needs to be a topic of its own and not buried under "Halloween Baking Championship."
