I liked how Chris and Johnie basically chatted throughout Stacy’s monologue. Also, Uche is a douche but I can’t decide if I’m glad he wasn’t there or not. Definitely a douche, also seems cowardly. But maybe Lydia has a restraining order we don’t know about.

This season is such a trainwreck. I did think it was funny when Stacy’s dad (who doesn’t have it going on, haha jk) was basically telling Izzy, my daughter likes fine things, if you can’t keep up, cut your losses. Uche is a humongous douche. I have no idea which of them was stalking each other, but he is an emotional terrorist.

I was wondering that about Lydia, too. The whole, ‘We’re the same, etc” crap seemed weird at first, and then after the bombshell, reminded me of Single White Female. Seriously how weird is it that Uche gave Aaliyah tons of shit about her past, but then waits for a long time to drop the Lydia thing on her? He seems like a major ahole to me. Ugh. Lydia is coocoo bananas. I can’t believe all that stuff she kept saying to A after A made it clear she didn’t want to hear it. There are some hot messes here, for sure.

Was Josh a boxer or is something weird going on with his ear? He is a bit much, seems like a big asshole and obnoxious. Also his saying he put Marshall’s feelings first…feels like some bullshit to me. Micah’s friends are crazy, what is with all these super protective friends that are just bitchy? I never had friends like that, but then, I am in my early 50s so maybe I just can’t relate…? i feel bad for Chelsea, wish the best for her, don’t think it’s Kwame.

I feel like I never learned that part in school, and yep, I’m from WV. We had to take a class on WV history back in the day, and it was decades ago so who knows, maybe I did learn and I just forgot it. I dunno, I think maybe I just got annoyed because it’s cool to be a state that formed during the Civil War and go with the Union…I rarely if ever think about the people who disagreed with the decision. I grew up always going to the statehood celebration day on June 20 at the Capitol so maybe that explains why…

I’m convinced no one will ever match the genuine affection and love that Cameron and Lauren had in season 1. All of these people seem so effing fake and self-absorbed, to a degree that doesn’t bode well for a real relationship. And half the time they seem incoherent, I dunno if that is due to drinking or what, but when a artist started talking to Raven, I wasn’t totally sure where it was going. And the breakup or whatever….so awkward! It didn’t need to be that awkward. I get feeling pissed that some ahole is doing jumping jacks while you’re pouring out your heart. But leaving dollar bills…? Everyone is so crass and ridiculous it is getting harder to watch. And I watch mainly to rag on it. Is it just me? And wtf was the comment about the boobs? Was that Coal (sic)? Good grief.

I love this analogy, gonna have to use it. And I agree…Mr. Dingochick and I always give the pilot a pass because it’s just laying some groundwork. I’m interested to see where this goes, but I did have The Flash vibes what with the Scooby Gang (yes, I know that’s a Buffy thing but hey). I also felt like there was a bit of Legends of Tomorrow vibe… maybe because I think the actress playing Mary looks like Caity Lotz. In that vein, I think the guy play8ng John looks like Tom Everett Scott (or a combo of Sam and Dean). liked the Easter eggs, especially for Kim Manners. And I like the way the show is filmed, with kind of a grainy throwback look.l.though sometimes it seems blurry. Music was good, so no complaints. I’ll let Dean narrate and pick the music…I am apparently easy to satisfy. :)

I fricking love this show! Rachel Bloom and Paul Reiser is a duo I didn’t know I needed. I am a huge Crazy Ex-Girlfriend fan and this fills that hole…well, not that hole. You know.

When Chad dropped by to see Tony, Anna, and EJ….did anyone else hear a fart noise when Tony went to hug Chad? I rewound it a few times and maybe it was just something in the background, but just wondering what anyone else thinks. also I haven’t watched this show in years but damn, it is still kinda dreadful. Never change, show.

They had mentioned in media that this ep would be a sort of epilogue, so I was okay with how it ended and served as a series finale. Because sometimes life is mundane, and it is the little moments we may regret missing or taking advantage of. Life is fragile, sad, and beautiful. And I like that in the end, the big three won’t drift. So much of the series has focused on spats and fights and issues that siblings (and parents have)…as someone who has lost both her parents, and has a brother, I totally get the fear of drifting apart. It rang true to me. Also, I wasn’t expecting anything huge or life altering. Life will go on for the Pearsons. I liked when Jack said Rebecca would be there…it made me feel better about my own losses. And I liked that we were spared a Randall eulogy, because omfg can we just not? I wasn’t super happy about the Jack and Randall ending, but I got me some William, so I can forgive it. As far as I’m concerned, as long as nothing ends like St Elsewhere did, it’s a win. :) Lastly, anyone else feel like adult Deja sounds like regular Deja?

I loved this so much I kept rewinding it to watch….so much to focus on in his face, including the smallest of eyebrow raises.

How long was she writing that thing anyway if it was ready by the time he sat down? And FFS, everybody clapped for Kevin and Sophie? Gah. ETA I actually did like the episode.
