I'm calling it right now. Tristan McIntosh, the 15 year old from Nashville with the army mother is the next American Idol. And Shelbie already had her shot on The Voice.

Shocker. Not. I liked Andy's song. I liked Nick's song. Tom Bergeron's quick wit is much sexier than any shirtless pro. And the return of Len!!!

Tom did say that of the two couples in jeopardy that one had the lowest combination of judges scores and audience votes. I think it was Nick and Sharna who would have gone home.

I don't think I've ever been this pissed at the chosen winner. This season was THE worst ever.

I like Sarah. I like her voice. But I hate Freebird with the fire of a thousand suns. Since I'm from the south I know that's sacrilege but I sure wish she had chosen another song. Blake put his eggs in the wrong country basket in my opinion. He should have kept the other young guy (can't remember his name). Sawyer is so cute and I predict he will get Pharrel his first win.

Fox really needs to put this show out of it's misery. It makes me sad that the show that used to give me such joy (and anticipation to watch) is sooooo bad.

I've been in love with Kirk Acevedo since he played Miguel Alvarez on Oz. So far I'm loving this show.

I'm pretty sure Craig picked Old Rugged Cross. There's an old version of him singing the song with just a guitar on YouTube and in that video he says that the song means a lot to him. Pretty sure there was no pandering involved. It's a song he's obviously sang a lot before and he's comfortable that he could go a good job with it. And he did. CWB FTW!!!!

I don't remember Dimitry being this bitchy on his season. I remember wanting him to win. Maybe he's getting the bad edit.

Daryl, honey, I love you. But somewhere in that zombie apocalypse there has to be a bar of soap and shampoo.

That's how you watch a two hour show in twenty minutes. Thank God for fast forward. I couldn't make it all the way through a single performance. And what is up with all the three word names? CWB FTW.

Craig may not be everyone's cup of tea but he darn sure is mine. As a huge fan of country music who is tired of pop country (I'm looking at you Florida Georgia Line), I am totally OK with some old school country music. To quote the great Travis Tritt, "Damn, I miss Duane Allman, I wish he were still around. Put some drive in the country. Keep country driving on."

Craig reminds me of Travis Tritt (whom I love and miss tremendously in the country music world). So, right now he's my top pick to root for.
