  1. Here's a picture of the dress. I'm sorry but I am not feeling it at all. I think it's okay from until it gets to the knees. That fur mermaid skirt and train looks like she skinned a muppet. That is 20K of tacky. Like I said, I love Kandi, but I cannot cosign on this dress. Also not loving the giant tiara. It looks too homecoming queen. ETA: This picture shows the train.
  2. I just saw pictures of Kandi's wedding. I really like Kandi but she has no taste at all. I'm hoping to see better shots soon because what I did see wasn't good. That dress was overdone and tacky looking. Say what you will about Nene, her 2nd wedding to Greg had a really beautiful 1920's vibe. She and Greg looked great. Kandi's dress just had one element too many for my taste.
  3. Judith was whoring out her crew to get drugs in so mostly they were just happy to no longer be under her rule. Ava was stalling on a promise of getting drugs in and rapidly running out of time. That's part of the reason why it was easy for them to turn their back on her once the implications of snitching arose. According to Alan Sepinwell this version was by this one was by the Ruby Friedman Orchestra.
  4. Happiest moment of the episode was seeing Darryl get killed so I know he won't be returning. Rappport was awful on this show. That said, these final 2 eps felt the Justified I have come to know and love. I'm nervous about where the final season will go because Raylon has become darker this season than ever before. I can't help but wonder how much truth there was in that story he told Kendal because he really didn't seem to have any problem using Kendal or Ava to get what he wants. I know Ava & Boyd are criminals, but finding out that Ava flipped made me sad. I knew last season when they had that pipe dream about that house up the hill that they would never live there, I just never imagined them ending up here. I know next season has a lot of ends to tie up, but I kind of hope we see the Harris brothers again.
  5. When the season started, I was worried that Bianca was going to come off as too abrasive. I couldn't have been more wrong. Love her and at this point, I want her to win. Dorriene is the bitter one this year. Her barbs are all too mean tinged. Bianca and to a lessor extent Courtney seem genuinely interested in sharing advice and tips. It was nice to see Trinity finally let go and do well in a challenge.I hope they can get through to Joslyn. Otherwise she and/or Ben may be the next queens to go. Leganja was just delusional from the door. I'm happy to see the last of her whining, crazy self. Bianca's come to Jesus talk with her in Untucked was the nail in the coffin for me.
  6. Thank goodness they seem to be getting rid of the chaff fairly quickly this season. No more repeats of queens like Shangela or the endless Coco/Alyssa Edwards feud. Leganja was well past her expiration point. I was happy to see her sashay away with her delusions.
  7. I cannot imagine that there have been this many 80s songs covered in even the past 10 years even. Someone said that this is a project of Shonda's. Does anyone know if that is, indeed, true? Why is she mangling these classics? Shonda doesn't do it. Many indie bands do 80's covers. Shonda uses lots of indie bands for Greys. It's just a style she has picked for the show much like she uses a lot of Motown for Scandal.
  8. They are signed up for a wedding special. Bravo did indeed film the wedding and apparently Miss Joyce attended the wedding.
  9. For some reason I have a suspicion that the POTUS is going to go back on his word and decide to run for reelection after all.
  10. Agreed, it was implied that Raylon lead Sammy to Nicky Augustine. If Nicky hadn't given the "I'll kill your family" speech, how was Raylon getting him out of there? There was no cops on backup. Upon reviewing that scene it looks as if the only other person Raylon advised as to Nicky's whereabouts was Sammy.
  11. I enjoy the show for all it's outrageous and improbable story-lines, but I cannot for the life of me understand why Fitz is such a special snowflake. Here again we get yet another example of it. I can understand Liv protecting him this time since it;s her job to ensure he wins the election and all. But I no longer see any trace of the man deemed so good that it was worth stealing the election just to ensure he was in office. Everyone's actions just make it more and more apparent that Fitz is not only not a good man, he's a big baby.
  12. THIS^ I used to work in a pediatric ER. Everyone there was fairly meticulous about hand washing, especially during high viral times like RSV season. I took last night with a huge grain of salt.
  13. Swiffer is an old soul and YAY! for so many foster families.
  14. Good for Russ. I don't know if if was nerves on the first challenge or if he realized he needed to step up and behave like a professional. Tina was still a nut job, but I wasn't as embarrassed for Russ. Tina was in over her head and needed to go. I like that this show and Face Off rarely dick around with sending home the right people.
  15. I think it was that reality competition move where they pair the highly skilled person with the homecook/selftaught/high strung person to see if they can mange to interact well. Russ failed just as much as Tina because he lacked the interpersonal skills to figure out how to work with her and reign in her scatteredness. Then he tattled to the judges first chance he got. They had a germ of a good idea and that's saved them, but they got a well deserved dressing down from the judges.
  16. I don't think so. Dorriene has been getting nastier and nastier in her TH's and interacting with the other queens both in the workroom and during untucked. She's not Leganja levels mean, but her remarks feel more cutting than joking. I'm not sure if it's editing or not but she's coming across as threatened by Ben for whatever reason. I think if there really weren't bad feelings towards Ben she could have jokingly replied, "cause you my competition girl!" or something similar.
  17. They just need grown up furniture. Both Seth's desk, even with the new modesty panel and the guest chairs look too small for the set. I get going for a retro vibe, but this stuff looks low rent.
  18. I see it as part of Carol "get shit done" attitude. It appeared to me that most of them did really believe Karen & David would live through the night but were afraid to do anything about. Other wise why not use the IV kit, intubation set up and ambu bags that mysteriously appeared when it was Glenn & Sasha rapidly facing end stage of the virus? Doc S knew that the Harry Potter patient zero kid basically drowned in his own blood and could see the signs simply by listening to their chest with his stethoscope. I don't think any of the group had the nerve to put anyone out of their misery. It was a big production just to put down Lizzie's dad after he had gotten bitten.
  19. I think a big part of why Raylon is trying so hard to get Darryl is because somewhere in the back of his mind, getting Darryl will help fix the riff he has created with Art. Perhaps atone is a better word. Of course I believe he wants to do it as a lawman and it's his job, yadda, yadda, but the part of him that sees Art as a father figure needs to get Darryl. That why he is so desperate to have this happen by any means possible. Raylon knows he's gambling with Kendal's life, but he's on a mission and nothing is going to stop him. Was he a douche for talking to Ava like that? Yep, but Raylon is on a "by any means necessary" level now. What struck me more was the look on Rachel & Tim's face when Boyd dropped that info about Nicky Augustine. Sure they covered in front of Boyd, but I wonder what they, Rachel in particular will do with that piece of information once this is all over. Even if he lives I don't see Art returning to work. If Rachel one day is no longer interim director, how does that effect how she deals with Raylon? On the other hand, I hope Dewey gets to hang out with his buddy Dickie. Maybe between the two of them they can keep themselves alive. I hope Wendy steps up and does the right thing for Kendal. Next week is gonna be dark, but I think next season is gonna be even darker.
  20. I certainly hope not. One pregnancy and infant is more than enough. I agree. That room with the candles had a very cult like vibe that was very different from the hipster propaganda center Rick and them walked in on. I think Mary may be the leader and chef cook/cannibal maker but I think Garth is in charge of the candle cult.
  21. Perhaps he was nervous about giving away spoilers. With the season over he wouldn't have to worry about that and could relax more.
  22. In addition too personal stashes like Merle's there is no reason to think people couldn't still grow marijuana. I think it was implied in Michonne's flashback/dream that Mike & Terry had started to give up and question the point of trying to survive. Whether Andre was simply killed or bit and he turned, Michonne still blamed herself for not being there when it happened. I think that painting is Mary and not Lizzie. I also can't help but think there's something cult like going on and the people is the house were around for the beginning stages of whatever it is and when they realized what was happening check out. I know the Grove aired, many thought it was Lizzie as a sort of inside thing like the puzzle being Sophia. The difference is, we the viewers never saw the completed puzzle, it was more of a motivation for the actors in the scene. We get a clear view of the painting in the house which makes me believe it was a warning both to those who might go to Terminus and us the viewing public. This was one of my quibbles with the flashbacks in this episode. What we saw was nice and idyllic, however when the season opened not only was Rick a farmer, but he was literally putting on blinders to anything other than farming. Herschel was trying to get him involved in the council and decision making and he didn't seem to want any parts of it. So what made him completely check out? I always liked when Carol told him, "You can be a farmer, but you can't just be a farmer." It feels like we missed that transition. In fact when they showed the reviews of Rick after he had did in Joe's gang, I was worried we were going to see another Rick shutdown. The fact that he seemed to rally makes me hopeful that he realizes the he has to be a little of both in order to survive.
  23. I'm not so sure. I think the folks at Terminus have a different sort of mental illness going on. Lizzie had a fit if someone killed a zombie, I don't think she's want to eat one.
  24. Agreed. I keep looking for a Jiggly Caliente busted grill and I don't see it. Using her own teeth would at least take away one hindrance for her. Sadly I had to laugh when Bianca asked her point blank, what she is good at and ......crickets. Bianca is schooling these young gals in her own way and so far Adore is the only one who seems to have noticed it.
  25. My favs were Bianca, Adore & surprisingly Ben. Both committed to their looks and brought the funny.
