  1. Sean was the ultimate Degrassi boy, totally under utilized and I was heart broken when he left
  2. My daughter started walking at 8 months, 4 days old-- wearing shoes. Just as an FYI :) The shoes Lincoln is wearing are similar to the style my daughter wore when she started walking-- thin leather soles so they can still feel the floor under their feet.
  3. her constant complaining about being overwhelmed with the girlses on camera is certainly not going to do leah any favors if the judge in their custody case sees any of it in evidence.
  4. ^^ SERIOUSLY? SERIOUSLY? I think Chelsea is actually handling herself pretty damn well in this situation. If someone who was in charge of taking care of my daughter ever lied, even a little tiny white lie, about her whereabouts I would flip the fuck out. In the case of emergency I need to know where my daughter is, it's that simple. That she works with him at all with the custody is pretty generous given his legal situations and what I feel is an obvious drinking problem (he really puffed up there for a bit too at the beginning of this season, drinking too much? coke bloat?). And while I'm sorry he hasn't seemed to be able to get his shit together for Taylor/Paislee? (is that the babies name), I do think it just must further drive the point home to Chelsea that SHE isn't the problem and that Adam will most likely never get his shit together for anyone. He's an entitled brat.
  5. I agree, I think a bigger "sucker punch" to the story is that David is indeed an asshole but not as involved with Lori as we're being led to make ourselves believe.
  6. (hi, i'm new here *waves*) I think Chelsea was totally within her rights about the no picture thing, though I think she did it for vindictive reasons more then anything. Especially because Aubree has a very public life not everything about her needs to be shared. I'm sure Taylor posting a picture with her daughter brings in lots of comments-- questions if she's back with Adam, comments about how she's a great stepmom, maybe even negative stuff about Aubree or Chelsea. People are all kinds of crazy and I think it's in Aubree's best interest (as well as all of these kids) for their parents to know exactly how their pictures/videos are shared and have total control over it. Leah says her medicine is working now, but she still sounds drunk half the time. And I have to believe most the time she's doing her hair she's drunk or it's dark or something. I can't even get started on what she feeds her kids. I'm not impressed with Chelsea's reliance on frozen chicken strips and corn dogs either but Leah feeds those kids the worst kinds of crap while trying to come across as little suzy homemaker mom of the year. It's really sad actually. I'm sure she wants to be that but she just decided she was going to be this way and this was her life and thought it would all fall together, she didn't realize it would be hard work. I'm surprised she and Jeremy are still married.
  7. Coming out of lurk-dom to share some thoughts. I've watched from the beginning. I was really interested and at first it seemed like an actual social experiment but then they put every couple's story line through the same treatment "this is the episode we talk about money" "this is the episode we meet the family" and it ruined the show for me. I kept watching but there was nothing "real" about their canned interviews and it seemed like when they "met" with the experts they weren't even all in the same room most of the time (which is understandable but let's just say "hey we skyped with dr. so and so". I think Jamie and Doug are a good fit if only because I think they both like the attention. I think Jamie will grit her teeth and keep at it as long as there are reality show opportunities for them, or as long as she thinks there are. I'm sure they're planning an extravagant wedding re-do. Doug might get sick of the facade and end things, so then she can be, in her mind, some heart broken hero of love and get lots of magazine covers for a couple of weeks. I don't see Jamie ending things, she wants the world to think she's got this perfectly romantic and "real" relationship happening. I think Courtney and Jason actually have a lot in common and might make it in the long haul. They both seem committed to family and if they see each other as family I think they'll stay committed to each other, especially given Jason's loss and the role I'm sure Courtney has played in his mourning his mother. My brother in law's father died the night of his first date with my sister, he found out when they were out together. I KNOW my sister being there through his loss really deepened their relationship quickly. I really do think the show had a lot of potential, I would have just preferred seeing their stories unwrap themselves in their own time rather then the formulas used every episode. Plus six weeks ain't nothing. I know it's a low budget show but if the couples were together longer before making their decisions I think the show would have been less likely to force the story lines each episode.
  8. They can kill off Gabe! That's gutsy :) (I feel bad saying that because the actor seems pretty funny on twitter but ugh I hate Gabe's character. I disliked him until the episode where he's complaining to Ofie that he "only got a kiss" while Carter and Bird are fighting in the hall... ugh that put the nail in the coffin for me.)
  9. I need confirmation that he is in fact over 18 before swooning too hard for Max. He/ his people keep that shit on lock. I'm guessing it's because he's much older then the characters he plays. But at this point anything he's in, I'll watch. I loved him in The Fosters and worried that Finding Carter would take him out of The Fosters, but then I realized I preferred Finding Carter so I'm glad he's a fan favorite.
  10. ^ I have to imagine a gas station would have insurance for these sorts of happenings. And I know States have funds to pay for the care of people who are the victims of crime.
  11. If she was on the fence at all this most recent kidnapping will surely convince Carter how crazy Lori is. I can't imagine Lori letting Carter go out and live a life. I suspect she'll be locked up in some terrible apartment. I'm still surprised Lori hasn't kidnapped another baby. That birthday flashback scene in the hospital nursery, a few episodes back, was so creepy! My daughter roomed in when she was born, my hospital didn't have a public nursery like that and that scene made me so happy for that. I can't imagine someone lurking on my baby and talking about them like that-- even if it's in jest. Really made my skin crawl.
  12. I was saying that exact thing to my husband. We've been married 7 years and I've barely gotten around to getting wedding pictures printed. These two have been together a few weeks it's "love" and they have a million printed memories? I rolled my eyes so hard when Lori said it had only been 3 months. Since everyone else seems as concerned with Max as I am I have to say that I'm sure he'll be back. He's the clear fan favorite and has been more clearly ushered out of his role on the fosters. I was REALLY impressed with him during the break up scene. I don't know, it was totally cheesy but he tugged those heart strings. No way will I believe that he'll be off 2 hours away while Carter is missing, which I suspect she may be for at least a good part (2-3 episodes?) of the next season.
  13. they could announce they're turning "finding carter" into "max makes croutons and plays with his hair for an hour" and i'd totally tune in. actually i think the ratings would sky rocket
  14. I came out of lurking to share my theory on the next episode-- maybe even next season. I think, though it pains me to say it, that they're going to try for a Max/Carter/Taylor love triangle. I REALLY hope they don't go there, but it's rare you see platonic male/female friendships on these types of shows (I know they dated before but we've only really seen them as friends). It may only be in Taylor's head-- maybe an episode where she just keeps catching them in strange situations, so maybe it'll just be an episode where Max convinces her he's crazy about her. Or maybe the trauma of the shooting will bring Max/Carter closer and cause all sorts of messy tension and drama next season. I LOVE Max and Taylor but before the show went in that direction I thought Max and Carter had good chemistry in the opening episode (especially at the carousel when they realized they were being followed). Also Max told Carter she'd already picked Crash over him, which is a weird thing to say to a friend. I really hope they don't go that route but I'll be surprised if they don't. If it means less Gabe on my screen and more Max I might not even mind that much (aside from it being tired and cliche-- ooo teen girls fighting over a boy, ugh over it)
