  1. Is that what it takes to get away with murder on this show? Be a popular character. Does anyone else think both Eva and Mickey should answer for their crimes. They have both murdered. I guess that explains why the writers/producers decided to kill off Ruth. I knew there had to be a reason.
  2. Season 5 is being broken into 2 parts. 2 mini seasons. 7 episodes will air next summer(2015). The final 7 episodes will air in the summer of 2016.
  3. I don't see how they could be really married. Apparently Cullen and Naomi made an oath to one another. They knew the Swede was an imposter. The writers are painting Cullen as an honorable man. Theyre making it look like Naomi and the baby is all he has left. Hes lost his first family and most of his friends as well. Like Ruth they've taken everything away from him. I guess that's all the writers need.
  4. Its been a disappointing season in places for me. Some of the storylines of late have been a bit to far fetched to take to seriously. That "shotgun wedding" at the end of season 3 performed by the Swede marrying Cullen and Naomi. That whole Sidney Snow storyline which lead to Ruths demise. The idea of putting a badge on a child killer didn't make any sense at all. I still cant believe they wrote Ruth out the way they did. Didn't make any sense to me that Ruth wouldn't accept a pardon. I guess the suits just wanted the character gone. Never was a big fan of this Cullen/Naomi storyline but it appears that's where theyre headed. Hopefully they find some time next season to finish the railroad. Its been all but overlooked this season.
  5. Unfortunately Ruth had the misfortune of getting to close to Cullen. Thoes that do aren't around for very long it seems. Its a trend the writers started some time back. They don't seem to want Cullen to have anyone. Its gotten old.
  6. I enjoyed the scenes between Ruth and Cullen. Anson and Kasha played well off of each other I thought. The boy Ezra was killed so Ruth could kill Snow so they could kill Ruth. Theyd rather kill (those close to Cullen) than keep them around. Makes one wonder who will be left standing when its all done. The railroad has all but been forgotten this season. They will have to get back to it next season. Fortunately they have no choice.
  7. I was sure Cullen said something the second time Ruth asked him. Couldn't make it out. Maybe I was hearing things.
  8. I had trouble hearing some of the audio between Ruth and Cullen at the end. I heard Ruth tell Cullen she loved him. Ruth asked Cullen if he loved her. What did he say?
  9. That whole "Snow" storyline didn't make any sense to begin with I don't think. The idea of putting a badge on a child killer to begin with was ridiculous.
  10. I think Im done too. What started out as a good show about the building of a railroad (Seasons 1&2) has been turned into something else for me. Its all about killing anymore. The redemption of a self confessed killer.
  11. I have a feeling Ruths storyline may have run its course. We were promised the last 3 episodes would be "jaw breaking". The last one certainly was. Hope Im wrong.
  12. I have no plans to watch that episode anytime soon. I tuned in to see what was going to happen to Ruth but it got overshadowed by all that gore. Not surprised theyre cancelling the show but splitting the final season sucks bigtime. I think they've got a lot to squeeze into one season. The railroad still has a piece to go and storylines need to be wrapped up. Hopefully they do that in a meaningful way and don't just start killing characters off.
  13. Ive been watching some of "Fearfest" during the break. Very few promotions for HOW. Several for the networks other shows. Youd think they would want to keep the audience informed that the season isn't over yet.
  14. Violence and killing are a prominent part of this show unfortunately. Most if not all the prominent male characters could be described as violent or loose canons. Even the women are getting into the act.(Eva/Ruth) As far as Louise and the other women are concerned their choice of male company is somewhat limited.
  15. Love seems to have eluded a number of the characters on this show up to this point. Not a very happy content lot if you ask me. As far as Louise is concerned I'm still a little confused regarding her sexuality. If she finds love with Campbell she would have to remain in Cheyenne wouldn't she?
