I wish they'd just let Rick kill him before, ambiguity or not. He did deserve to die and this just makes it seem like the writing making sure we see there was no choice.

I'm wondering if Rick's break from reality will be like it never happened because, of course, he'll end up being right. If this were the real world, zombie apocalypse or not, people would be wary of letting this dude make decisions for the group. I don't know, would you trust him after that bloody display last week? Sometimes I think they just wrap things up too neatly for him. I'm hoping Deanna doesn't just give it up and hand over complete control.

  2. Of course his actions are on him, but Carol knows how hair trigger and unstable he is and went running to him to do something when she had no real proof of anything except some stories from a kid and children aren't always the most reliable witnesses. I don't recall ever seeing her even once talk to Jessie (did she?) and she could have done that, could have guided her or helped her on her own. Not only is Rick unstable but she knows he's hot for Jessie, and his reaction was just what she knew it would be.  Now she has the power and the means to make men like Ed suffer and die and she's using it.

Well, I'll disagree that Carol knew what she said would drive Rick to go insane and roll around bloodied in the streets ranting like a loon and randomly pointing his gun at people. No, I don't think Carol could have predicted that. I'm sure if she had an agenda, it didn't involve blatant stupidity. I also don't believe she was hellbent on Rick killing Pete, she just knew that would be the eventual outcome. Rick and Carol have been pretty much partnered up with their own agenda since arriving, her telling him what she believed to be happening with Jessie was something that needed to be communicated, IMO.

  3. No, she definitely didn't. She's the catalyst who lit the match. She has her own agenda and I really don't think it has anything to do with Jessie or Cookie Boy.

If she has her own agenda, I'm doubting it ended with Rick waving a gun around and acting like a loon. Rick has his own agenda, too, and his outrageous reaction is on him and him alone.

I saw a brief clip of the upcoming reunion and I can already see that they're all wearing way too much makeup, the skin on their necks looks like a chiffon scarf I have in my bottom drawer that's been there since I had my second child, and they all look as old as they really are but ridiculous looking because they think they look young and hot.  I'm old and I own it, I do my best not to scare young children but I don't try to pretend I'm not over the hill and, nobody looks at old

Oh! I thought they almost all looked really pretty. Brandi's had way too much work done and Kim has aged prematurely but everyone else looks gorgeous, IMO.

  5. Just a comment for now, I didn't see Carol smiling, looked more like a grimace, to me. I'm sure she's not down with this blatant loony stuff that Rick's displaying. She can't have known Rick would wander this far from the plan. She's got her own issues, so can't be expected to be keeping a scorecard on Rick's mental state. He's always seemed pretty sane in his scenes with her.

The only time I really like Rick is when he's nuts, so am thoroughly enjoying this. Crazy Rick is fun!

  6. I like Heather and Carole's friendship, hope they don't screw with it. Could not care less about Kristen, she just takes up space. Am completely over Sonja, won't be able to stomach her without Ramona. I really liked this season, except for Aviva and her barbecued father, tried to pretend they didn't exist. Like Luanne for the first time in years. Still adore Ramona and she remains the main attraction, she's what keeps me watching.

  7. Hello, new here! Just had to chime in on this. I just adore Ramona, even in spite of everything I'm not blind to. I like Carol and Heather ( not so much Kristen )but I will not watch this show for them. They're great supporting players but do not make a show. I watch for Ramona. I vehemently, vehemently disagree with this decision. I think it's just Andy being a little bitch, I loved it when she stood up to him and refused to play at the reunion but that probably cost her.
