  1. notice the similarity in names? make the V silent. now how many show characters does it sound like?
  2. my guess is........... it's cheap to produce
  3. just watched the episode on discovery's website. I think real bush people could get by without indoor plumbing. ready to take down the windmill. "hey, we need a,....... look at that! here comes billy on a manlift." how convenient, those bush manlifts. was that a well standpipe in the windmill foundation? maybe the well has already been drilled. heard no mention of paying for drilling. from high on a hill, how deep will they have to go to reach water? pushing numerous wheelbarrows full of concrete? sure. are they going to explain how they will provide for ten people without holding city jobs? about 4 minutes into the show on the website, there is a graphic showing where each of them would have land. I noticed there was no spot marked for Matt.
  4. Common travel to and from Alaska would leave traces. Flying does (airline tickets) Driving through Canada does. (two border crossings) Hard to argue that you were in the lower 48, but returned to Alaska with no evidence of travel.
  5. On the next show, I would like to be surprised. I would like to hear that they will be living in town for the winter, and finishing their cabins next summer. And they plan on making money by getting jobs. But that's not likely.
  6. . interesting. 🙂 . I did get a chuckle when I saw the snow on the ground while they were hurry-building a place to live. seemed vaguely familiar. 🙂 stacked up storage containers on a hillside. sounds like a bad idea. They have a place to live, suitable for bush living. the barn! do a little work on the barn and it would be suitable. Or they could all live in the 16-foot camper. so,.......... this year the tv family had enough time to build a cabin or three. to live in. but they did not. time to stop pretending. my prediction for the next show: The treehouse magically has a room finished enough for someone to spend the night in it. and they all agree to move on, abandoning the hill-mountain. my guess is,.........
  7. Last week's show: bear is wearing some pants with the knees torn out. stylish, I think. Bush, I think not. .. did someone say they read a lot of surgery books? ... ... really? .. on another website, it was mentioned that the scrub brush around the buffalo had changed when they were lifting it with the tractor. thick where shot, thin where lifted. interesting. 🙂 That was actually a touching scene. It seemed personal and real.
  8. A couple of years ago Jeff flipped the house Gage wanted to live in. After that, I figured every house would be flipped to make a buck. Every house.
  9. the last time I watched the show, I didn't think Jenni was actually working. she sat at the desk, watching the computer. then they visited a worksite, and she carried a notebook but did not participate like she did in the early seasons.
  10. red X story https://people.com/home/jeff-lewis-draws-red-x-jenni-pulos-flipping-out-season-11-premiere/
  11. snap! the poles are up and concrete magically appeared. gotta get me some of that magic concrete. if that belly gets showed *one more time*,.......... I will suspect some "personal problem". !
  12. All I know is what I've read in this thread, but I wondered if she finally called out an abusive environment.
  13. where was "The Last Brown" ® when the manual labor was being done?
  14. yup. I was making fun of their usual motivation.
  15. yes! let's lobby disco for a special episode. cut it the bush way. ....... before the snow traps them on the mountain (?). :) what would they make out of it? haha do they have a water source next to the house site?
  16. but the water was over the road when they went to the right. would you expect them to go to the left to reach that other town? :) it was gotta get some wild game, or else. (winter's almost here) wild turkeys are skittish. it's hard to stalk to within shotgun range. most people sit and call the turkeys to them. btw, that really dark mud sort of turned into a light brown mud. somehow.
  17. build a barn before a house????? this sets up the annual "winter is almost here!" crisis. bouncing on a felled tree with a chainsaw. good times. "vocal fry" is back! they are already collecting junkyard junk. I noticed Bam did not participate in the group howl at the campfire.
  18. one of the other sites mentioned the leather pants. haha. I noticed them but forgot when I was making my list of things. :) if they arrived when the snow was melting, it will probably be months before they can deer hunt. and where is the river/lake where they can fish? food will be a challenge. let's see how that is addressed. let me make a prediction: instead of wind power, they will "make" their own solar panels and batteries. cynical, cynical me. could those marks on the tree be faked?
  19. they are in the mobile home. :) I saw some poles on the trailer. where was their "luggage"? the tools, gas, chainsaws, food, clothes, and sleeping bags? that vehicle did not look crammed full of gear. where did that bulldozer come from? the lumber for the porch? I suppose the lumber for the tent floor could have been on the trailer under the poles. why didn't they use some pine trees for poles? I saw a lot of chainsawing, but no useful results. nice fire, considering the firewood was not dried. apparently, pines can grow there. good luck with that orchard. what's the name of that town? how far away is it? did the preview show "someone" jumping up and down on a 10-inch tree while holding a running chainsaw? looked like something pushed the snow away from their parking/living area. it was piled up around the area. think they will show their junk pile?
  20. he might have been gifted that house, no charge. too bad about that bullet hole in the roof. :)
  21. everyone-in-one-room B&B? (extreme) theme park?
  22. he thought it was fine to say certain things. maybe that was impulsive. then, later,......... he thought it was fine to put it on the show. that was not impulsive.
