My take on DB is different though - I think Kelli had really high expectations for her with her dance training and presumed awareness of what it takes to make the team and was pissed that she wasn’t better prepared. That is what I think translated to the screen. If your kid doesn’t make the team that’s not a professional reason to quit the job you’ve had for 25 odd years especially if you rely on the income.

I’m in awe of Zendaya. Full stop. I think she’s amazing. I think the entire cast is amazing. This series far exceeded my expectations.

TCC Gina reminds me of Dayton. Same flat affect and zero personality on-camera. Hardly any facial expression, barely any emotion. I mean, give us something that lets us know you’re alive behind your blank stare.

Same, no pajama/yoga pants or blankets as a coat 😉 I never wear jeans on the plane either, always a dress or palazzo pants (that cannot be mistaken for pajamas) and a light jacket and nice shoes. You are right - you definitely receive better treatment when you're dressed nicely. I believe they charter anyway, so the plane is probably very clean and the flight is not completely full of passengers. That makes a big difference. They all look very pretty!

And furthermore, repeating "what does it cost? what does it cost?" Douche. That was so lame and he just can't conceal his jealousy of Whitney. That whole exchange was so ridiculous. I also loved his little comment of "wish I could" regarding the enhanced menu items. Bitch you can. Pretty sure a marijuana laced dinner will not preclude you from procrastinating on your pillow covers. I thought Whitney's approach to Kathryn seemed genuine; she just wasn't having it and didn't want to talk to anyone. I missed the oxygen bottle but that was pretty slick on his part. I mean they went from no feet above sea level to almost 7,000 feet above sea level. He was smart to be prepared. We live at about the same elevation as Charleston and my poor brother got altitude sickness pretty badly when he went to Colorado. ETA: I totally pearl clutched at the table manners. Shep and Austen grossed me out so much I almost couldn't eat my own (late) dinner.

The wedding video special made me sick too. It was all about the Kennedys and their self importance. Shut the fuck up Ted. The cake cutting scene was beautiful, and completely ruined by the children chanting "cut! cut! cut!" and "eat it! eat it!" Precisely why I hate children at weddings. Anyhow I agree that Carole has changed and I am indifferent on my feelings about her participating in these programs and specials. I thought the Hollywood Medium program was ridiculous. Otherwise the only thing I can say is she probably *was the closest person to them, and probably imparts the most realistic account of how they really were. On one hand I want to know and I gobble up every book, magazine and program about them. I'd rather see Carole because she was a family member and was close to Carolyn. On the other hand I'm like, thanks I don't need anymore Kennedy bullshit, like let's all watch the moon walk footage and forget that Chappaquiddick happened.

I am typically a total pearl clutcher when it comes to manners and social behavior but I loved Chelsea tearing into Craig. He comes for her constantly and she just shuts him DOWN. While what she said was vulgar, I found it totally hilarious, especially in her soft southern voice. She takes no prisoners. I also think Whitney is very attractive - I'm guessing a lot of us who feel the same are probably in our 40s and 50s. His younger pictures totally remind me of the hot guys that were in the film program when I was in college (I've said this before 🙂). Also his suits are always so beautifully tailored. I think he's just a very, very private person when it comes to his personal life. I think we're so used to Austen and Shep being filmed in their underpants and cleaning up after the night before that Whitney seems quite different by comparison. Although there was that Ann Taylor incident....... hehehe

I agree these are all plausible. What kills me is Craig and Austen, mostly Craig, are SO HELL BENT on gossiping about it and trying to get people to believe it. And so what if they did hook up? Shep was right, it's absolutely none of their business. Bitchy Craig just can't let it go. I think he hates/resents Whitney as much as he hates Chelsea. I mean he gossips worse than I do and I love dirt. Love it. (I've toned it down in my old age). Anyhow my stance is Kathryn went after Whitney and they were probably partying and having fun and they've already slept together before so it's kind of like hey why not, and I honestly do believe Whitney was trying to protect Kathryn by denying it. But those two brats can't see the forest for the trees (that is, protecting Kathryn) and just want to embarrass Whitney because they're so insanely jealous of him.

Let me tell you. So not fun when your boyfriend polices what you eat. Craig’s behavior frightens me. He is SUCH a little bitch. I cannot comprehend how anyone could find him remotely attractive with the way he acts. He hates girls, especially Chelsea. I wonder...TR has allegations out there that Kathryn has a sex addiction as well. I wonder if Whitney saying they have different definitions and denying it is a way of protecting her on camera. I don’t know. She was playing with fire with the mug and the champagne gun. I thought she wasn’t supposed to be drinking at all? We’re not stupid, and Madison had a “mug” later on in the scene. It didn’t look good 😔 I honestly worry for Kathryn. Eliza’s boyfriend seems really nice! I like him.
