I think he just wanted to help her get it done and figured if they left without the papers being signed he never would

Perhaps, but Kevin still should have realized that no one would want to sign papers (on national television, to boot) without contacting a lawyer.  Frankly, I think he was hoping for one of those television "moments" and he thought Matt was dumb enough to go along with it.

Matt acted like an ass on the show but he showed last night that he ain't that dumb.

She definitely was a brat, especially when she plopped down feet first with her shoes on onto the brand new couch.

I was just coming here to comment on that.  What a brat.  Looks-wise, she reminded me of Jessica Simpson (although Jessica seems to be nice from what I've seen of her on tv).

Even though I'm not usually excited about Australian episodes, I'd love to see that real estate agent again.

  3. Well at least Matt admitted that he had no business being on the show.  I thought Kevin was an ass for trying to goad him into signing the divorce papers on national tv because nobody in their right mind would do that, but Matt really should get a lawyer and just sign the damn papers and stop being spiteful.

At a certain point they become just talking out your ass.  Katie was in a hurry to have a baby, and some of Derek's dreams would be a lot harder with a kid in tow.  So it wouldn't be unreasonable to try to ascertain how important his dreams are to him, to assess whether he's up to putting in extra effort.  And if he hasn't put in any effort yet, when things are easy, that's telling.

Yeah, I didn't like Katie for various reasons and I'm glad Derek dodged a bullet and divorced her.  However, I thought the whole "dreams' stuff was fishy and some made up BS for the show because, otherwise, what was preventing him from accomplishing them?  I realize that some of the dreams might take more time and effort than others, but I don't understand why he can't just write a damn Christmas song if that's what he really wants to do.

  5. Dallas:  I loved the house in the suburbs, all it needed was landscaping on the outside.  However, I can understand her wanting something more low maintenance, although I didn't like that drab, depressing looking condo.

    I liked the realtor.

What was Buck thinking?  I absolutely hate the pop in visit.  If I understand this correctly, the last time Red saw the woman he was once involved with was twenty-two years ago.   Who pop in visits after twenty-two years?  I hate the pop in visit in general.  I think it is rude to pop in unannounced.

Why in the world would Buck drag Red all the way over to that woman's house without finding out if she was interested in seeing Red first?   Buck could have found out that the woman most likely has Alzheimer's.   If Buck had done that before the pop in visit, he would have saved the woman and Red a lot of grief.

I agree about the pop in visit.  Buck's heart might have been in the right place but that was just plain stupid and he should have known better.

He had to stop calling her "baby girl".

Wow, I used to hate it when he called her "baby girl" because I thought it was so stupid  and inappropriate.  I stopped watching after a while so I never saw the whole sexual harassment stuff.

  8. My last comment (hopefully) about Joshua Johnson and then I'll leave him alone:  I watched him yesterday and I figured out my main issue with him is that he flails his hands when he's speaking.  If he stopped doing that then he'd look more professional.

  9. I commented about Joshua Johnson a couple weeks ago, I think.  He was speaking, acting agitated, throwing his hands around and the other analysts just stared at him like he was out of his mind.  I've seen him other times and he was calm and collected, but if he continues this erratic behavior, he needs to go.

I know there have been others who were erratic, like Chris Matthews who foamed at the mouth, but they had paid their dues doing news coverage over the years and so they got a pass.   But even Chris reached his expiration date.

I couldn't get to sleep, and I was thinking random thoughts 🤷

What if Meka had been matched with Greg from last season?

He was an educated,  high achiever.

Naw.  Greg doesn't deserve that.  She would have grilled him over and over about those double ovens. 😒

I think you simply meant this to be funny. I get it but not sure if you got mine. My post wasn't really about wanting or needing to call Zach anything. It was about pointing out a double standard.

And my point was that Zach has been called much worse than a ho, double standard notwithstanding.

I'm sorry, you guys. I'll try to put their real names in parentheses.

Or just have a thread entitled "Who are these Idiots?" with the nicknames and real names, so we can just look them up when we forget.
