  1. Title ideas: The Bachelor: A Roll in the Hay. Of course it's probably a title better suited for something like BIP since the producers still want people to think the Bachelor is really there to find a wife and not just go to exotic places and make out with hot girls. lol Here's another idea: The Bachelor: Cultivating Love. Actually there's a song by Tim McGraw's called 'Down on the Farm' Theme Song idea: 'She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy' by Kenny Chesney.
  2. I did not get that your post was tongue-in-cheek. My bad. I agree with you that Chris is in the business of farms. Chris is not really a farmer as I know the term. He probably drives around in a nice new pick-up and makes sure all the help is doing what they are suppose to be doing. I personally wouldn't call him a farmer, but more of a business guy. But that's me. You're braver then me. There's no way I'd ever go on tv!
  3. Lol I can just imagine the lines we'll get. I so want a girl to say "I can't wait to plow your field".
  4. Or they could call it "The Bachelor: Farmer takes a Wife" Every time I think of Chris as the bachelor that song (The Farmer in the Dell) pops into my head.
  5. I don't mind the corny taglines. I mean I expect them. But do they really have to refer to him as Farmer Chris all the time. I mean his name is Chris not Farmer Chris. Question did they call/refer to Jake as "Pilot Jake"? I didn't really watch his season. Actually I tend to not watch the Bachelor's season.
  6. Did they? I don't remember, but they probably did. However, did they refer to the guy as pilot (insert guys name)? If they did then I guess I can't complain about them always calling Chris "Farmer Chris" I don't pay the closest attention, so forgive me if they have always referred to the contestants by their occupations.
  7. Maybe I'm a cynic, but the fact that Chris agreed to be the Bachelor makes me think he's in it for the fame. I don't know why but I got a vibe that he really isn't into farming. Maybe it's because he's taking yet more time away from the farm. (Between the Bachelorette and the Bachelor he will have missed the busiest part of a farming season which is planting the crops and harvesting them) Also there is still a lot to do Sep-Nov on a farm. (I grew up on a farm so I know) :)
  8. Oh I know they are going to cram it down our throats (Down on the farm, a roll in the hay etc etc), but I still find it annoying. I don't remember them referring to any of the other contestants by their occupation.
  9. Can't say I'm surprised by the announcement. I do hope the show doesn't insist on calling him Farmer Chris though.
