  1. I don't really get why Sonja is Betthenny's project. Sure Sonja thinks she has a fashion line, but all of her other projects have gone no where. Why out of all of the HW's does Beth pick the one who's probably not going to succeed? Beth also seems to be crumbling at this point and probably shouldn't be taking on new projects. My guess for B not to wanting to befriend Kristen and her nail polish project is that she's intimidated by her younger age, somewhat successful marriage and her modeling career. Even Ramona knows to stay away from Sonja at this point. I do like the little friendship that's popped up between Luann and Kristen. Even Dorinda and Heather seem content to be friends with L & K will Carol stirs the pot between everyone.
  2. I hope this season isn't going to be Shannon just whining about her husband every episode. Divorce isn't an option! Why? Does he get all of the money or something? I thought in California assets were divided equally. She may think she's helping her daughters, but they'll just end up traumatized by seeing their parents snipe at each other. The older one already seemed that way during David's apology. I can't figure David out, he seems supportive of Shannon, but then gets caught having an affair (my guess is that there have been others). Why not just tell her it's over? Heather is just fluffy. Yes, her wealth is ridiculous, but she's not out to hurt anyone and she and her husband seem to have a good partnership. He didn't seem to care that she was hundreds of thousands of dollars over budget. They also seem to bond over their obvious distaste of their children. Meghan, Meghan. She's seems a lot younger than she is. How did she and her husband even end up married? He doesn't seem to like her, she's trying to make the best of the situation while her step daughter is rooting against her. I can see the other women being afraid of her youth (Shannon) but she's really just a little fish swimming upstream. She seems like she could use a couple of friends.
  3. I don't really get Kaitlyn's reaction to her night with Nick. She's worried he'll tell the other guys, shouldn't she and Nick have talked about this before he left her room? Did he even need to spend the night? She seemed distraught that she could end up with no one (Shawn) as a result--which makes me think that Nick is really no longer in the running after their "night," because surely she could be happy she'd end up with him if things had gone well. I too think the same thing has happened between her and Shawn (which justifies him being so pouty in this last episode). For some reason TPTB don't want us to know that's happened, only that it has with Nick. Why? I did think Nick handled it in a classy way, it can't be easy to come back and try to explain why you were out the whole night to the other "boyfriends." It is funny that during the wake, some of the guys openly admitted they didn't know why they were still there.
  4. Has it actually been confirmed that Michael Socha is a regular for Season 5? Sean Maguire makes sense, he should've been a regular last season (even though, I don't think he's that great an actor). To me, Rebecca Mader makes no sense. We're forever stuck with Zelena poking Regina with a toothpick constantly? Doesn't Regina have enough foils? I don't understand having 3 regulars on the budget that you never use--Will, Belle & Zelena, but refuse to let Emma have a home of her own after 5 seasons.
  5. I don't think Kaitlyn is feeling any of the guys...until Nick. She lit up around him and we have yet to see her do that with any of the other guys. To me, Kaitlyn comes across as fairly immature and not ready to settle down at all and that's fine, but she's on a dating show that wants her to be mature and settle down. I feel sorry for some of the guys because they seem to have good intentions, like the one on the dress up date last night with the helicopter. He was trying to be genuine, but you can just tell she's not interested. She seemed relieved that Nick had shown up, as in "finally a guy I might be interested in." I'm willing to give Nick the benefit of the doubt, but she seems like a bad picker so far.
  6. Wow. Dorinda's house was a lot bigger on the inside than it looked on the outside. Her boyfriend has got to go though. Perhaps they aren't exclusive? Maybe Dorinda doesn't mind his behavior? It seems to me that if your friends and daughter don't like him, perhaps there's a valid reason. I think Bethenny needed her own series. She's too much for the already crowded Housewives. I thought Dorinda was very gracious in welcoming her to the dinner when she had told her she wasn't coming. I did think it was bizarre that she said she could only eat shellfish---is this why she's a skinny girl? I think Heather was trying to be helpful. Beth was obviously upset and not willing to eat the dinner she crashed. Heather was trying to make it better by offering to talk to the kitchen and even take Beth out of the situation so that she could calm down. Some one up thread said that Beth doesn't like or appreciate people who try to be kind or nurture her and I think this was the perfect example of that with her negative reaction. Heather and Beth probably wouldn't get along anyway, but I do think her intention was to help.
  7. It was an odd conclusion to the season. Perhaps Craig won't be back and that's why we saw him packing up for Delaware? Also, if Craig's had a car this whole time, why is he always bumming rides from people. He didn't drive himself anywhere this season. I could care less about Thomas and Kathryn, I actually liked Thomas being on the campaign trail most of the time. I did like JD's words of advice, he's a real friend. Whitney on the other hand... The thing is with Whitney, he's a producer, surely he has final approval on the edit. He knows that he's being painted as a villain and I don't think he minds. I do enjoy he and Patricia's catty chats, it's nice to take a break from the Kathryn, Craig drama. Poor Cam, not ready for baby. Obviously, she and her husband have talked about it and Cam knows that the expectations would be that she would stay home and take care of it or them. I like that she wants a career, I'm not sure how successful she can be in real estate when she doesn't have a "real" office. Where do her clients sign the papers? Why not just be independent if her firm won't give her office space? Sure, Shep was jealous, but I also wonder if it wasn't a setup. No one bid on Shep but Cam, but several women bid on Craig? Makes no sense. Lastly, there's no reason Craig needed to leave within two weeks. He would've had a Bravo paycheck after all.
  8. Who knows if it's a Jen/Lana thing. If I were Jen I'd be sick of being the bad guy in the situation. My guess would be scheduling since Jen wasn't scheduled to be in the group shot initially. But who really knows.
  9. I agree with this, it's always JMo that has to calm everyone down. It's ridiculous to me that Jen had to give up being photographed with fans and Colin because a few don't like the idea of the pairing. Guess what? Captain Swan is a canon couple. They are boyfriend and girlfriend. Emma is Hook's happy ending and Emma loves Hook. Just glancing at Lana's twitter, the most recent article she had posted was about how wonderful Regina is and how great it is she has Emma in her life. Come on. No mention of Robin or Hook. She feeds the idea of Swan Queen and leaves Jen to be the one having to tip toe around the very fact that they are not a couple and are barely friends. Emma sacrificed for Regina knowing that she should get her happy ending. Emma also knew her family could save her when perhaps they wouldn't be able to save a dark Regina. It makes sense now that they held the ILY for that sacrifice scene, they were apparently trying to balance Emma sacrificing for Regina with her ILY for Hook. If the ILY wasn't in that scene, and the last thing we were left with was Emma sacrificing for Regina, it would've built up SQ even more. That said, Jen shouldn't have changed the photo ops, it lets bullies win. She should be able to take pictures with Colin. I can't figure out who would want a Lana/Colin pic?
  10. I think it's comical that JMo would even bother to address that speculation. I suppose it's possible though because we saw Hook and Emma fully clothed on the bed (in a loft with her parents downstairs), it makes sense that Emma would be pregnant and showing just a few hours later.
  11. I thought we'd seen a picture of Dark Emma and she has strawberry-blonde hair. It was during the music scoring and either the composer or Adam posted it.
  12. If the show is just a popularity contest then Noah should still be there. The judges aren't scoring him on his ability to dance though. We've seen them critique so many other dancers in this season (and previous ones like Amy's) about things that Noah can't do and then score him better. It's not just fan votes carrying him through, the judges seem to want to as well. How can the others compete with that? I can't believe Rumer's whole storyline has been that the tabloids told her she was ugly growing up so she's had a tough time of it. I'm sure that's tough for a kid. But seriously, she was born into a life of wealth and privilege to the point where neither she nor her sisters "have" to work. It's hard to feel sorry for a millionaire. I think Nastia is a beautiful dancer who really got the short end of the stick this season. Sure, Derek agreed to come back, but until his injury he was some kind of machine Derek, you could tell they weren't spending anytime getting to know each other, he was just coaching her a couple of days a week. I don't know what Riker is famous for, but he's a decent dancer and I think his partner has mellowed from last season but Julianne would've been a good partner for him as well.
  13. Kathryn overheard Whitney while she was walking down the steps to go out to the porch. Cameran said you could hear what ever was going on in the building. Whitney wants Kathryn and TRav to breakup so that TRav will pay attention to him again. Whitney didn't have a "girlfriend" until TRav and Kathryn got together. He's jealous of Kathryn and has tried to do what he can to break them up, not realizing that having a baby makes it really complicated. I would guess that Whitney actually asked his mom for blackout curtains, I could see him wanting to sleep during the day so he can hang out with his band or much younger friends at night. I don't think it's fair to judge Kathryn about not being at home, when Thomas isn't either. Why would he need to spend nights away for a local campaign, that no one (including himself) thinks he has a shot at winning? For JD to say he's unrecognizable is something. Landon appears to think she's better than everyone else including Charleston. She seems to like being the center of attention yet, is just awkward in general. In the beginning she seemed to be pretty good friends with Shep, I think it's curious how she doesn't really seem to know Shep or Cameran let also the rest of the cast. She brought he sister to hang out with instead of the rest of the cast.
  14. I think it will depend on how much of a main character Lily becomes and how long Emma is the "Dark One." The thing with Lily is that they've given her the Neal Cassidy treatment. She's been made fairly unlikeable (she ruined Emma's chance for a family more than once) even though she has a tragic backstory. She's been reunited with Mal, but just like with Neal and Rumple, they don't know what to do with them. Instead of bonding with Mal, she wants to know who her father is. Whatever. It's probably just another time suck that will go nowhere. I suspect if they do find her father she'll decide to stay with him or, both she and Mal will decide to stay with him in Camelot since presumably Mal can go there even though she can't leave Storybrooke. As for Emma, I think Dark Emma could be interesting. What isn't going to be fun is another half or whole season of watching Emma push her parents or Hook away. Hook sure has to do a lot of the work for his happy ending, it seems like Regina just whines about hers and everyone drops what they're doing to sacrifice for her. I could see Dark Emma lasting all of season 5 with a resolution in the finale.
  15. Was Craig just siding with Kathryn because Whitney was a jerk to him in Delaware? He knows Whit hates Kathryn so he takes her side to make him mad and get Whit back for what he said to Craig's parents. Again, Landon is completely irrelevant. I did like that JD and his wife were included, and that JD verified that TRav is unrecognizable while he's campaigning.
  16. Why was Rumple dying when, as the Dark One, he's supposed to be immortal? I get that his heart was black, but why does it matter when you're the Dark One?
  17. It was probably a good idea to have the QOD and not just the Mal and Lily arc. That arc is what has killed the ratings the last few episodes. Why they did the first hour of the finale without Hook and Emma is crazy to me. Henry and Isaac were supposed to carry the show with a sprinkling of Evil Snow, Charming and Good Regina? People didn't hang out past the first half hour unless they were diehards. I don't think it's that people weren't interested in the AU. They weren't interested in the author's origin or how Henry got to the EF. People want to see their favorite characters, not new ones who are dispensable.
  18. Will Emma be the big bad for the next season just because she's "The Dark One"? I'm afraid so. But I also think it's building towards an amazing resolution of Hook and Emma's relationship. As we've seen with Rumple and Belle a TLK can break the Dark One's curse. Of course, the only ones who know this are Rumple, Belle and, probably Merlin. Rumple is out of commission, Belle will probably take a nap or be on babysitting duty for most of the season, which leaves our characters chasing after Merlin and of course getting waylaid by the search for Lily's dad (who cares! I want to know who Hook's parents are). I like where they are going with the story as far as Emma the purveyor of light and happiness is now the Dark One--will she take away everyone's happy endings? And Hook, who's spent 300 years trying to kill the Dark One, is now in fact, in love with her. I think this is probably their last big adventure before a TLK. (And let me say, if this is not the direction the writers are going in and Regina or Gold swoops in at the last minute, I'll probably stop watching because most of 4b has been unwatchable). I do think we'll see Henry have some major angst. He could've written it so Emma didn't have to take on the "darkness," instead he broke the quill.
  19. I agree about Ginny and Lana, there's a reason they've been cast as Snow and Regina and not Regina and Snow. I actually thought Ginny looked bored and Lana was little to earnest. Josh didn't have much to do besides lurk in the shadows and kill Hook. Why, if this was Rumple's story did Charming get to kill Hook and not Rumple? I do think this would've been a better storyline for 4b than the lame "Queens of Darkness." The QOD had nothing to do with the overall plot of the author or Rumple's happy ending. I still don't get why Isaac wanted to write Rumple's story out of everyone's.
  20. I don't get the impression they are actually going to Camelot. It could be as easy as the Apprentice opening a door to Camelot and grabbing Merlin. The change in condition is Emma's character has changed. I suppose she'll just be moody with everyone next season, oh wait, that tends to happen anyway. I do think it's interesting that Charming even when evil is still Charming and Hook would still give up everything for Emma even when he doesn't know her. It'll be interesting to see if Dark One Emma is actually dark or just crabbier than usual.
  21. Interestingly enough, Emma's able to run to the loft, look around for Hook on the floor (how did she know he'd be in that spot) while Hook was only able to go upstairs to look for Henry in the same amount of time. I do like that Emma went straight to look for Hook when they returned and Hook went straight to look for Henry. I too think the ILY should've happened in the loft, it would've taken nothing away from the dagger scene and we might've gotten a response from Hook (who we already know is in love with Emma). I get that she holds the power in the relationship, but it was silly to make them wait. Also, it's unlikely that we are going to see any current kisses between them until the big showdown, so why not have let them kiss at least once the finale. There was a lot of forehead touching but no kisses.
  22. I thought the finale was ok. I suppose I was spoiled too much as the sneak peeks were the only interesting scenes of Pt. 1 and we've known that Emma takes on the dagger for a month now, I found the whole thing really anti-climatic. I could've cared less about the Author's origin story, so what if he picked the one old-fashioned pen on the table? I gotta say, I don't have much faith in the Apprentice after a lot of his actions. Why wasn't he there when Henry picked up the pen? Why would the Apprentice want to save Rumple? Why couldn't the ultimate hat take on the darkness? Is the Apprentice dead or resting? I thought Jared did an admirable job considering he gets so little screen time anyway, it's easy to forget that Henry is even a character. I like that he's the next writer, however, how will that work now that the pen is broken? Is nothing recorded now? Snowing was fine, the twist of being evil for a while was ok. How they worked Lily in was ok to, but I don't really care if her character sticks around. Why do we have to find out who her father is when we've been waiting to know who Hook's father or mother is since season 2? Regina and Robin are so meh, I think she deserves better, however, if I have to see one more person sacrifice so that Regina can get her happy ending "because she's worked so hard for it" I'm going to start fast forwarding all Regina scenes. Regina has not worked hard to be with Robin. In fact, she's had two chances, once in the tavern and once in the church to go for him and both times she's chickened out. Robin hasn't worked hard either, he's such a chump. I still don't understand why he was sleeping with Marian when there was the very likely possibility he'd see Regina again. He chose Regina, goes with Marian for the sake of Roland and then within weeks is sleeping with her? Are Rumple and Belle back together? Will Rumple sleep until 5b? Belle and Will broke up? Huh? There was not enough Captain Swan in this finale. They were absent nearly the whole first hour! Emma was awesome throughout. I thought it was interesting that in Rumple's happy ending Hook still survives just as a kitten (he drinks milk from his flask?). I like how we see that no matter where they are, they find there way to each other. I also liked that we saw Henry finally thawing toward Hook. I hated that it took Hook's death for Emma's realization that she better make things "real," of course, she waited until the last second on that as well. I was surprised we had no kisses in either episode. I suspect we won't see another kiss between them until it's a TLK to break the Dark One curse. The ultimate irony being Hook's spent hundreds of years trying to kill the Dark One and now he's in love with her.
  23. BTW, they obviously didn't proofread before they posted the article... From E Online: is Ouat gunna end on a huge cliffhanger and will we see a lot of captainswan??? Yes. Come on, it's a OUAT finale. Are you new?! And hell yes, this is one of our favorite Hook and Emma episodes, and we'll also get to see a new first in their relationship. I'm guessing this means ILU's are exchanged. Are we ever going to find out why Wil left Wonderland and Ana ? Or is my understanding of the timeline messed up ? Sorry, but Will isn't even in the finale. Except for the part where he's in the pictures of the Outlaw Green Wedding where he shows up as Best Man. Didn't A&E say we'd get resolution to the Rumbelle-Will triangle? could you just tell me everything? Or any teases on Emma's role in the AU would be fantastic! We don't want to spoil everything, but we'll say that you won't find out Emma' role until the end of the first hour. And you'll definitely get chills I'm guessing this means we find out Emma has to take on the dagger but she won't figure it out until pt. 2.
  24. And considering Zelena was dead and all of her magic was hidden in a pendant, but she's somehow "around" because of her energy... Honestly though, do they really have to keep bringing up Baelfire/Neal? Isn't naming Snowflake after him enough? Here's a question, Maleficent can't leave Storybrooke because she'd turn to dust yet, Zelena who was in the same predicament could travel through the portal, come back as Marian, get an icy heart as Marian, be forced to leave Storybrooke without turning back into dust and come back to Storybrooke and not get an icy heart. What?!
  25. I wonder if Beverly thinks she can get even more money by publicly saving her brother? She knows Rayna was willing to put up a million... Also if she wasn't the leak, how did she know to go meet up with them at the Bluebird after the performance? She knew they would be there because she's the one who told the radio station about his cancer. Poor Juliette, it's obvious she has PPD. She apparently had it since week 3 of Cadence when she suddenly decided she needed to go back to work. She's normally hard to handle so it's taken her team a while to figure it out but is should've been obvious well before now. As for Highway 65 not being supportive---she's supposed to be on maternity leave. Should they be supporting her being out on the road less than a month after having a baby? My favorite scene was Juliette and Rayna's meeting. Rayna's just got the torn up check, Juliette's bitching at her for no real reason (the woman was there for you at the birth of your baby for pete's sake) and Rayna walks out--good for her. I do think it's funny that Bucky and Glenn are actually two different men, they could be twins. As for Scarlet and Gunnar--they are the young version of Rayna and Deacon. Sure they could have great love, but is it a good idea? Are the better as friends, will fate drive them back together anyway? Does Teddy even need a storyline? Can't he just pick up the girls from time to time?
