  1. I don’t think Rebecca’s truth bomb would have been about loving Ted. If anything, not having one shows us where she’s at…alone, with no prospects. She would tell Ted if she was getting back with Sam. She has no reason to confess any feelings because she doesn’t know he’s (probably) about to tell her he’s leaving. Sam and Rebecca aren’t getting together, he is 23? She’s 48? Even if they could have a child they are at completely different life stages. Not to mention Ola didn’t like her… I guess Rebecca not having a truth bomb also makes me wonder about the Dutch guy. She told Keeley about him and presumably Sassy but we’ve not seen anything else mentioned. I also hate the Ted ends up alone having to interact with his ex everyday. His happy ending is just Henry.
  2. The look between Sam and Rebecca during “You’ve got Mail” is an acknowledgment that’s what their relationship was like. They met online anonymously and got to know each other before meeting. That’s it. Beard comes to accept Nate because he knows Ted has already forgiven him. Beard shows he trusts Nate by telling him potentially damaging information about himself. I don’t think Nate has earned this redemption but sometimes people are just forgiven anyway.
  3. Welp, with Ted mentioning Sleepless in Seattle in episode 11, I actually think Ted and Rebecca are no longer endgame. Rebecca and Sam’s relationship was like You’ve Got Mail since they really met online. The Dutchman and Rebecca are like Sleepless in Seattle. He lives on a houseboat with his kid. They have met by the water once, anonymously. At the end of Sleepless it’s the kid’s actions that bring them together, so I would guess we’ll see that happen. What I hate in this scenario is that throughout Sleepless we see how she falls for and pines for the guy, if Rebecca goes this route, we saw the one night (that she can’t even remember all of what happened) but no pining since. Meh. I don’t really get having all the signs with Ted and Rebecca or why Ted has to end up alone with Henry but shows are usually disappointing. It’s also possible that Sleepless could apply to Ted and Rebecca, he could leave, she chases after him, he has a kid etc. But the houseboat thing is kind of an obvious tell.
  4. Ted has already forgiven Nate. We saw that in episode one with the press conference. Ted had a public forum to go after him and instead made it about his own mental health. We saw him, guided by Henry put Nate back in the line up in the lego stadium. Instead of yelling at Nate in the elevator when they were alone at West Ham, Ted greeted Nate warmly. He also took Henry to the game and waved at Nate. In the last episode, he had the opportunity to throw axes at a picture of Nate and said it was bad karma. At this point, Nate may apologize but I expect Ted to cut him off with a hug. Ted has been worried about Nate, not mad, which is actually one of Ted’s flaws, it’s why he’s had trouble dealing with his dad’s death and Michelle’s betrayal.
  5. 🌈 Rainbows Trent’s Mug Rainbow reflection on Nate the morning after Jade spends the night. Roy’s tie dyed shirts- red, yellow, orange, blue, purple, green Higgins ringtone for his wife Who’s left? Ted, Jamie?, Beard, Rebecca? Or do only the men get rainbows? I don’t think so, because we know lightening is coming which means a storm. Since they are mirroring each other, I think the lightening comes for Rebecca and Ted. What comes after a storm? Rainbows!
  6. At this point I’d like to see Ted and Rebecca pull out those matchbooks at the same time. Why keep showing them individually, perhaps the lightening moment for Rebecca is Ted with his green match book? (I do realize that everyone at Ola’s got one that night, so it shouldn’t be a surprise). I’m a little surprised that most people think Ted goes back to Kansas. To what exactly? Henry? It would be possible for Henry to move to Richmond. Really troubling are the folks who want Ted and Michelle back together. We’ve literally watched Ted in agony for 3 seasons over their divorce and separation, he should not go back to her.
  7. The thing is, Ted didn’t have to take the job in the other country. He took it because Michelle asked for space and it probably pays well. I don’t think Rebecca set out to torpedo Ted’s personal life either, for all she knew Michelle and Henry would be moving as well. Yes, she does try to frame Keeley and Ted but she gets cold feet and now they are her most trusted advisers. Nate was invisible until Ted saw him. He promoted Nate, encouraged him and Nate got jealous, tore down the sign and bad mouthed him to the press and press conferences. I don’t think Nate and Rebecca’s actions are the same at all.
  8. Rupert can’t quit Rebecca. But at last she felt empowered enough to quit him (as in not worrying about how he makes her feel). Maybe Keeley would be more successful if she started a small firm with her own money? She has the best house of all of them. Although I assume Rebecca has multiple houses. Lovely to see Phoebe return and just in time for Uncle’s day! Love the growth of Roy and Jaime. Nate’s redemption to me is not realistic. People are complicated but he basically burned Richmond and Ted down on his way out. Why would they take him back? Because Ted is a good forgiver? Because Nate is a genius? I’m glad that Nate saw through Rupert and I expect he’ll apologize to Ted who will, in turn, be a goldfish. But outside of Lasso world this would be a really unhealthy turn. Yay for Roy and Keeley getting back together. But did he really break up with her initially because she couldn’t go on vacation with him? The last scene with Ted and Rebecca…why would she need Ted to know she was free of Rupert for good? She and Ted are friends, but it seemed an odd moment if she doesn’t have feelings for him. Also, the soldier giving her strength… Not worried about the lack of Ted in the episode with 2 more to go.
  9. I agree, I think it will happen in the last scenes of the season which is presumably the series finale. We saw Rebecca have an intense connection with boat guy over the course of a few hours, same thing has been happening with Ted and Rebecca slowly over 3 seasons.
  10. It’s a not subtle Ted Becca hint. Just like Ted standing in front of the Ferris Wheel picture. Ted is a nickname for Edward. “Ferris” sounds like Ferrars. In Sense in Sensibility Edward Ferrars is the unavailable through most of the story love interest of the oldest Dashwood sister Elinor (hello Rebecca). Keeley and Jack’s relationship looks like Marianne and John (Jack’s) Willoughby’s relationship in S&S with Roy as Keeley’s eventual husband. Lots of Easter eggs pointing at Tedbecca but I don’t think we’ll see a resolution till the last moments of the series.
  11. He throws his phone in the water after she asks where hers is.
  12. I found the canal boat scenes kinda scary? She had no phone or her bag and he presumably threw his phone in the water…she takes a shower, drinks tea he promised with a note wasn’t drugged and then she stays for dinner dressed up as his ex? Eww. I get the point that she shed her armor to find a connection but it was uncomfortable to watch. Kind of like Ted texting her a dozen times that night…he’s got it bad.
  13. Why does Rebecca have to end up with someone? Because the show keeps showing us how lonely she is. Rupert dumped her, Sam moved on, Sassy and Keeley have their own lives. Yet Rebecca couldn’t think of an emergency contact in a place she’s lived her whole life. Why does Ted have to go back to Kansas? His wife cheated on him with their therapist, his kid is struggling. Why can’t Henry move to England? The show is full of platonic relationships Keeley/Ted, Roy/Trent, Higgins/Rebecca, but the only Ted makes biscuits for Rebecca everyday. And only Rebecca can fire Ted which she said was too bleak to consider. Why?
  14. If anything this last episode showed us how alone Rebecca is and that she might be willing to move. No emergency contact? Really? She’s lived there her whole life. If she has nothing keeping her in England she might follow Ted.
  15. Rebecca/Ted endgame. But not until she runs after him at the airport in the final scene. Henry obviously comes to stay with Ted because we see them together in the promo with Beard at Nate’s match. But the promo also shows Ted looking off to the side, I think he’s looking at Rebecca making her way over to their seats. We’ve had Rebecca staring at the green matchbook with the open biscuit box (Ted) just behind on the desk (episode 5) and her old boyfriend “nining armor” wearing his team scarf so only “ted” is visible. They’ve also had two odd hallway interactions in two episodes. And the thought of firing Ted was too bleak for her to consider. She won’t let him go, even if she ends up firing him.
  16. I thought this episode showed a lot of growth for the characters. Ted can cope with his panic attacks and calm himself. He’s back to giving “Ted” speeches again. He was also the only guy in the office who didn’t shrink away from Rebecca when she yelled at them. The psychic’s predictions are causing Rebecca to examine herself and her loneliness. I think the matchbook and the nining armor references are meant for her to see why Sam and the other guy didn’t work out. Keeley’s story really needs to connect to the team and/or Rebecca to be relevant and at the moment it isn’t. It’s also odd that we aren’t seeing Roy’s niece, Roy seems to have faded into the background other than his disturbing bullying payback and training Jamie. Speaking of Jamie, all this extra training but the team was still losing. We’re supposed to believe with Zava gone Jamie will step up miraculously? Shouldn’t he have been before? As for the future, to me it’s obvious they are setting up a Ted/Rebecca story that won’t be confirmed until the last moments of the series. Rebecca will become a stepmother to Henry and Ted and Rebecca will have each other and no longer be lonely.
  17. I think the show will be back. It’s the highest rated thing on the network. Chris McNally has been cast in other series though so I don’t know what they’ll do there. They typically film July-November/December, I suppose it would depend on his contract. I would think Erin would want to move on, 9 years is forever in tv time, but all of the characters are aging. It would take several new cast members to pull off several more years. I wouldn’t be surprised if the old network boss that is poaching everyone to GAC tried to take this show too.
  18. Maybe Bill has the Spanish Flu? I am surprised there’s been no effort in getting a lasting match for Nathan this season. I also think it’s strange that the show keeps mentioning Carson. Carson doesn’t make an appearance this season, why not just let him fade out?
  19. It feels like the show is trying to tie up ALL the loose ends. Rosemary pregnant? Sure, how long have they been married? The actress is mid forties and the actor is early 50’s but I’m never sure how old their characters are supposed to be. If they don’t keep her pregnant it will be too sad for the show Love interest for Nathan, well Mai is out of town, so Faith looks good now? What was the point of Mai then? A rebound? Bill is dying or something? And Molly is doomed to remain a widow? Even though he’s never really showed an interest. Lucas is writing Liz a letter but she doesn’t open it this week? Really? What little spark the show has is currently missing, especially since the best thing to happen was Henry blowing up the mine.
  20. Yikes! Caryn and Matt come off as jerks (which they probably are). Matt would know how much money Zach can afford, he’d also have an idea of the health care expenses Zach and the kids will have over the next several years. I would guess his price would take all of Zach’s money. Good for them for walking away. I noticed Jer and Auj have moved their “office” off the farm too. Caryn is a piece of work that sure looks like a gold digger. Matt will irreparably alienate his kids for a profit. Very sad.
  21. I don’t understand the Georgiana/Lockhart storyline. Is he an Austen character I missed somewhere? Everyone else is easily identifiable, btw the Actor that plays Coburn might’ve watched Matthew McFayden’s Darcy a bit too much… Anyway, I can’t help but think the artist just wants her money, he told her what he would do with it…travel, drink, bed. They’d be broke in 6 months. It’s just a really odd character. I hate what they are doing with Esther, where the heck is Babbington? Why is he not writing her aunt or anyone else in town saying he’s worried that he hasn’t heard from her? I think everyone must get rejected in the finale except for the sister (because she’s dispensable to the story) and a wedding would be nice. With a confirmed season 3 there’s going to be a cliffhanger.
  22. Because he wouldn’t have found out that Charlotte and Sidney were in love (seriously?) if he hadn’t gone into debt again…this is such a dumb plot point. Literally everyone knew they were in love!
  23. This was one of the few shows I still watched on network tv. Welp, not anymore. I won’t be subscribing to Disney plus either. They aren’t even the same audience. Maybe they think grandparents will subscribe for their grandkids to watch movies?
  24. I find it completely unbelievable that Simon wouldn’t have been at this wedding. Daphne’s brother, his best friend is getting married and she attends alone? Really? That kiss had no chemistry perhaps that’s why scenes like that have been dialed back this season. Its sweet that Eloise likes the printer, but it’s a completely unpractical match. I imagine her family wouldn’t allow it. Edwina was really insufferable to not see her sister was giving up her happiness for her own. Ugh
  25. I think why Meri and Jannelle stay is because in their religion they are stuck together in eternity/afterlife even if they leave him now, they think they will spend eternity together. Meri and Cody should’ve divorced when he wanted to marry Janelle. Meri did not want to be in a polygamous family. Cody looks at polygamy as a way to have a ton of kids, when the wives stop becoming pregnant they are cast off. Christine has picked up on this and left. I would guess Meri and Jannelle don’t have the self esteem/need show income and believe the eternity crap so they stay. I think once it became clear Meri wouldn’t be having more kids (more than 10 years ago) the intimacy ended, she’s being kind to say it’s only been a decade.
