I loved this episode because I adore Tom Bergeron. Back in 1994, he used to host a show on the FX network called Breakfast Time. It was a crazy, very New York morning show that was made in NYC, even though we didn't have FX in NYC for years. I first saw the show when I went to visit a friend in Seattle.
I remember this show. Was there a puppet?

This would have been so much better if it had been more faithful to the book and had been a miniseries on HBO. I can watch it if I view it as a stand alone project that just happens to have the same name as one of my favorite books.

Highlight of this episode--Weaver cut his hair and cleaned up.

I've tried to watch this episode twice and fallen asleep both times.

That's what I figure. It's either that, or Cullen finds his dream house on the water with Fong, because that is all he has ever wanted and the "with who" doesn't matter so much.
I didn't realize Fong was a girl at first, but I also didn't care that she was when I figured it out. I get that, in that era, people would be chauvenistic and shocked to find Fong was a girl. But why would they kill her?
.
I think the Swede will kill her, simply because she will have a relationship with Cullen. Even if it's platonic.

This was one of the better episodes.

You hear a siren as someone's cell phone's ring and immediately think the apocalypse is coming. The only reason my job doesn't suck is that if an apocalypse were to start while I was there, I would have everything one needs from ammo to groceries. lol
Every time I read a news article about a new virus popping up somewhere in Asia or Africa or the Middle East, part of my brain says it's the beginning of the end.

Veggie lasagna and cream of crab soup. Soup is delicious but a little thin.

The new VW Jedda commercial with the older twin sisters flirting/trying to get a good deal with the salesman. :( Their voices

So there's Waylon Jennings' Mama Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys, and a Johnny Cash song for iPhone 6 (?) and a Willie Nelson song (dog food maybe? The song is about friendship). That's 3/4 of The Highwaymen.

Wouldn't be surprise if Weaver dies too, so they can consider that to be the "big death."
I think that would actually make me cry. I watched an interview with Will Patton from a Comic-Con a few weeks ago and the only spoiler he gave up was that Weaver might get a love story for a couple of episodes.

A couple of weeks ago, I was wondering why Jimmy Buffett and his band were the entertainment at the Hollywood premiere party. And then I saw the movie.

That is piquing my interest.

Working Stiff, a memoir of an employee of the Medical Examiner's office in NYC. Compelling and sad and really good.

Ummmm, what? How can you not know who Andrea was? Did she miss all of the first three seasons? Is she only watching for Daryl? Gah.
Also, those stuff and things (THANGS!) baskets need to be mine. All mine.
She must not have watched the first three seasons. I honestly believe I couldn't think straight when I heard her say that so I didn't ask any follow up questions. But I will forever give her the side eye when it comes to TWD.

You harshly judge a coworker (internally, of course) who swears she watches TWD but doesn't know who Andrea is ( during a discussion about Laurie Holden's involvement in human trafficking). Really?? She was only a main character who had a dramatic death.

From the posts on Anson Mount's Facebook account, season 5 started filming last week.

The only doughnuts I don't like are any with coconut. But if I had to choose my favorites, they would be chocolate glazed, Lemon filled and Boston Cream.

The older I get, the less I crave sweets and the more I crave salty snacks. Except during Shark Week, of course.

The Pepsi Maxx commercial about the job interview is quite funny but at first, I was saying WTF.

By the time TV coverage started, the dinner was already 30 minutes behind schedule.

I really like the new Petsmart commercial with the mixed race couple. I realize they're actors but,as a mixed race kid myself, it warms my heart.

Edy's Dreamery Black Raspberry Avalanche ice cream. Normally, I don't care for raspberry anything and I'm quite content with chocolate ice cream but for a while this was the only ice cream I bought until it was discontinued.

Last Man on Earth UO: Phil is an ass and often crosses the line between "loveable screw up" and "plain old jerk" but I also find it difficult to have much sympathy for Carol. If she's not self aware enough to realize that Phil literally only married her because he thought she was the only other person on Earth...that's just moronic. If she was being honest, she'd admit that was the only reason she married him as well. And, come on, I know it's a post pandemic society, but she has to be aware that nothing about their ceremony was official or actually binding. She showed some awareness by serving him "divorce papers", which was actually kinda sweet, but the previews for tonight make her seem like a bitter ex. Again, I'm not condoning Phil acting like an ass towards her, but her inability to have any awareness of the situation makes her hard to root for.
I think she's in denial about a lot of things. It's probably what's keeping her sane. Not just the wedding, but what stuck out to me was her bra. When Phil first found her campsite, the first thing he saw was her bra on the clothesline. I'm sorry but if it's the end of life as we know it, there's no way I'm continuing to wear a bra.
