  1. I’m watching this episode now, and I still get the same rage watching this jackass bitch and moan and Marilyn and laying a guilt trip on her. It clearly upset her. I wish she had snapped back at him that her job is how she feeds HER kids and she’s not going to put it at risk by not doing her job and writing tickets for cars parked in front of fire hydrants. I never understood how anyone could try to argue down that violation in any way ?
  2. So, I say this as a long time Wendy fan...I’m done. This little 3 week break, between watching old reruns and having Jerry fill in, has done nothing but accentuate how nasty and crude she has gotten. She snaps at Norman because he “gave her wrong info” about Cardi B(saying she was 27 instead of 25)and he looked so embarrassed. Then the final straw for me...someone had the nerve to cough and she THREW a cough drop at the audience in disgust. The same woman who digs at her eyes and nostrils with a q-tip, constantly clears her phlegm throat and belches on camera almost daily, has the nerve to be offended by someone coughing? I really don’t foresee her being on the air much longer, and either the network or her team is working to find a loophole in the contract that renewed the show for x amount of seasons. She is clearly over doing the show, is barely phoning it in, and is not interested in playing nice with anyone, not even her guests. She wasn’t even this nasty in her radio days. I think it’s a combo of all the stress in her personal life and just being older and over it. Retire already, Wendy. While you still have a legacy to hold on to.
  3. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did, as well as the audience members who have attended her show. I find it hard to believe that in the nearly ten years she’s been on TV, no one has flat out confirmed the rumors about what they’ve witnessed. The only one I can think of is Nicole Spence who sued both of them for harassment and a a hostile work environment back in the day, but they settled out of court, IIRC.
  4. This. I’ve been listening/following Wendy since her radio days, and Big Kev’s boorish and cheating ways have been common knowledge for years, long after the “one” time Wendy actually acknowledged, while she was pregnant with Little Kev. But there have been talks of payoffs to staff that he’s sexually harassed, how nasty and mean he is, how controlling he is and how no one has access to Wendy except through him, etc. The difference between them and now is that they could try and sweep most of the drama under the rug. But thanks to social media and long lense cameras, the dysfunction that is Hunterville is out and loud for the world, and it’s clearly taken a huge toll on her. I honestly don’t miss the new episodes, because she is a shell of the powerhouse she was before. I hope that if she does come back, she’ll be in the process of finally dumping that scumbag, moving her son into college, and getting that hi rise apartment in Manhattan that she always talked about.
  5. Woooow...I thought I knew almost all of the “insider” stuff for this show but I had no idea about the Scores deal. All I could think about is that article Christine wrote about the hard times they experienced because of the show, but it sounds like most of their hard times were because of Danielle’s choices. And deep down I think Christine knows that, but she also knows how fragile her mother is, and I noticed that she coddled her even as a young teen the first two seasons they were on. And she knows if she truly placed the blame where it was supposed to go, her mom would completely fall apart. I also agree that she adds nothing to the show. There’s nothing organic about her “friendship” with Melissa or Teresa, and there’s nothing entertaining about her bragging about how much sex her and Marty have. Stop trying to be famous, Danielle. Edited to Add: agreed that the show either needs to bring a whole new set of HWs or just kill it all together. It sucks that most/all of them basically rely on the show for income, but clearly their finances were in the shitter before the show came along, so really that’s not Bravos problem. I don’t think a Teresa spinoff would do well either, I know I wouldn’t want to watch her bratty daughters disrespect her for a half hour. I know she’s a big reason why they are like that, but it’s not entertaining.
  6. Still watching this, though I'm not sure for how much longer. The show is a shadow of what it was...I enjoyed the gritty, non-gentrified early episodes about a couple of kids from the hood trying to grow a business. Now it's just a booty shaking, drunken fighting mess with someone getting tattooed once and a while, SMH. Anyway, here we go... Ceasar...I swear every time he was on screen, I would catch a mild waft of budissy emanating off of my TV. How pathetic and and painfully insecure on his part. Like Teddy said...he's not over Dutchess and is staying in ATL and drowning himself in Hennessy and vagina to avoid any memory of her, because he's hurt. I do believe he really loved her, and even though she had her issues, she did push him to be a better business man. Now he's surrounded himself with "yes" people that are condoning his behavior (I'm looking at you Sky) and letting him neglect 2/3 of his "empire." Getting drunk and sleeping with anything that moves is not going to help you. Shake it off and keep it moving. Sky...I like her when she's not "on." She's smart and seems to have a decent heart when she's not putting on an act. But when she is screeching at the top of her lungs, flashing her boobs and yanking off her wig, she is absolutely unbearable. I refuse to believe she owns that McMansion either. Money goes further in the south but not that far, especially in a big city like ATL and even in the outskirts. Also the whole storyline with her kids...her giving them up for adoption is not my issue. But I DO understand her son not wanting to reconnect with her. It doesn't seem organic...she all of a sudden wants to connect with them after all this time, with cameras rolling and a paycheck from VH1 waiting to be signed. What happened in the past 15 years? I'd be put off too, if I were him. PS, I have no explanation as to why that interview was conducted in Dutchess's shop, however judging by that boy's twang, he probably lives and was raised in North Carolina. My father is from a rural area in NC and in his 30 years of living in the northeast, his accent has never left him, so I recognize it when I hear it :-) Melody...when she first started on this show, I really thought she was going to be the meek and quiet hippie chick, but boy was I wrong. I like her and I like that she doesn't put up with anyone's shit. I friggin LOVED when she clapped back at Walter, when she was late because she was dealing with contractors and a sick baby, and he tried to come at her with the "I have three kids" and she shot back, "are you a mom?" I feel like she wanted to say, "yeah you have three kids but do they live with you? Are you with them, dealing with them, raising them 24/7 like I am with mine? No. Why? Because they're WITH THEIR MOTHERS." Having three kids doesn't mean anything when you're a part time dad, so sit down over there, Walt. Stick to being comedic relief. Donna...seems like Donna has softened her look a bit, I like her wigs and her wardrobe has improved. But girl...you might want to reconsidering tattooing as a career, because you aren't that good at it. That tattoo she did on that poor girl's ankle looked like gangrene. I'm not sure what else she can do, but I still want her to win, though. And hopefully she can stay safe away from her ex. Domestic violence is no joke :-(. Dutchess...mentioning her because she was mentioned about 200 times this episode. This chick sure had a helluva impact on this crew, because she's not even on the show and the damn episode was named after her. I'm sure she's cackling away watching this mess and glad she walked away from it. O'Shit...mentioning him because I honestly think he's a talented artist, and from what I heard, he works at Black Ink ATL but isn't featured on the show, and travels to NY to do tattoos there too. He's still with Nikki, they just had a baby girl she has her little interior design business as well as an office job, and they seem to live comfortably in a modest house in ATL with her son and his daughter part time.. Not gonna knock the man for choosing a stable family life. This show would mess with his sobriety something awful. I also think part of the reason that he walked away is because all of his wife's skeletons were tumbling out of the closet, and they're desperately trying to keep things private. Can't really knock them for that either.
  7. I wasn’t planning to watch this season because I can’t keep track of all of the new additions, but my husband is a ratchet TV addict and I got roped into watching the first two episodes. Agreed that Rich is entirely too old to get caught up in this mess, especially since he is having significant health problems. Diabetes in any form is no joke. And for a minute I almost believed that he was going to stay on the straight and narrow until he met Anais. I’d put anything on the fact that L&HH is his bread and butter now (whatever happened to Olivia and his other “artists” and that record label him and Yandy started?), so bring on the bullshit, I guess. Speaking of Anais, I had to Google her, and she does have a pretty extensive career. But man, does she look older and harder than her 33 years (according to her Wiki). She also looks like a walking advertisement for the discounted plastic surgery you get in DR. “Get a butt lift, new breasts and lipo for $1000!” All of these women looking like glued-together Barbie dolls, SMH. It’s like embracing your natural beauty doesn't even exist anymore. Her personality grates too...that whole exchange between her and her manager’s wife (her name escapes me at the moment) was ridiculous and the same old formula…man flirts with thot, crosses line with her, man lies to wife about it, wife confronts thot instead of cheating husband, fight ensues, wash, rinse, repeat. At least it doesn’t look like she’ll be interested in him much longer, and will be hopping on Rich’s diabetic dick soon. PS: her husband is a little scary, can’t say I wouldn’t have one foot out the door too. Brittany and Bianca need to do some sort of Ancestry.com thing, because they look too much alike to not be related in some way. Like sisters, really. They even have similar voices. I couldn’t tell who was who until I read the caption during the THs. Other than that, their beef is stupid too. “Chicken Noodle Soup” was popping for a hot minute over ten years ago, and if Bianca’s attitude has been the same over the past decade, there’s no wonder why her rap career hasn’t gone beyond that. No one wants to work with someone who is so damn stank for no reason. I really hope the BS with Yandy and ManFece’s mother is scripted, because all is going to happen is going to be a decrease in the checks coming into the household. Yandy is the breadwinner and her MIL is making her look like a fool, and it will affect her businesses. That is not only detrimental to their marriage (legal or not) but to their income. I actually felt bad for Yandy, and I don’t know if I’d be okay with putting up with that BS for the next eight years. Still have a soft spot for Mariahlynn, I really do want her to win. I see she got in on that DR special and got her some new boobs, and a new man who is quite handsome. So of course he’s going to be a dick to her. DJ Self can still exit his smarmy gwinnin face off of my TV screen forever. Love Remy and Pap but I hope they don’t turn the “will they/won’t they do the IVF” into a storyline, because that process is long and draining and painful and expensive, and it’s not guaranteed to work. It takes a toll on couples and a lot don’t make it through. The Mackies have been through a lot and have remained the only solid couple on this franchise, and I swear I’ll send Mona Scott Young a smack-o-gram if this show breaks them.
  8. I watched this on YouTube after reading this thread, and it's stuck with me since. What a horrifying experience for Wendy and her kids. It's a miracle any of them lived as long as they did with that monster terrorizing them daily. It must have been quite cathartic beating him in the head and watching him slowly die. I Googled the hell out of this case after watching and a few thoughts and standouts: -The massive amount of holes in the walls that were covered by the boys' artwork. There was just so many of them, and you know each one equaled a fist or someone's head being slammed into the wall. Wendy and her boys talked about the abuse they endured, but those photos really brought it home. That gave me goosebumps. -The neighbors saying what they witnessed over the years vs. Wendy's family saying they didn't know what was going on. Clearly Aaron didn't make a it a secret that he was beating the hell out of his wife, so I find it hard to believe her family didn't know. I vaguely remember Wendy's mother saying she had been in an abusive relationship when she was young, and that can obviously set your views on relationships askew. So I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she told Wendy to try to stick it out and not upset him, at least in the beginning. Another comment thread I read about this documentary said that the neighbors called the cops numerous times, but Wendy would tell them everything was fine and turn them away. I know that there are police out there that do little to nothing in DV situations, but a lot of times, they can't because the abusers has made threats against the victim's kids, loved ones, etc. so they are understandably too scared to press charges(and I fully believe Aaron the wannabe serial killer and rapist would make good on these threats) and there's only so far the law can go. It's not an uncommon situation. The whole system is just frustrating and something needs to change, because too many women stay with their abusers because they are too scared to leave. -The look of sadness on Wendy's face when she wasn't aware she was being filmed, only for her to plaster on a fake smile when Aaron called out to her. That was heartbreaking. I read an interview that was done with the director of the documentary, and he said that the home videos were heavily edited by Aaron. There were moments he caught where no one was smiling, the video would cut off abruptly, and then go back to the same scene where everyone was smiling. God only knows what he did to make them put on the front of "happy family" on film. -Conversely, the look of true relief Wendy had during her last few days before prison. I know people disagree that she should have gone to trial and not accepted a plea, but I read that her public defender offered to go to trial and she declined, saying she didn't want to risk her son going to prison for 25 years, and she would gladly do 10 years because it meant her kids were safe. From the moment Aaron died, they were free, and I don't think prison could even take that feeling away. -I read that the autopsy on Aaron showed fresh bruises and cuts on his knuckles and forearms, which meant he beat them literally up until he went to bed and they bludgeoned him to death. SMH. -Anything and everything involving the dead deer *shudder* -I know that some people are sociopaths and wired wrong and whatever, but I really, really wonder how people like Aaron become who they are. What has to happen to a person to make them want to inflict such pain and terror onto another human being? I wish there were some sort of interview with his family or people that knew him. But judging by his brother sending Wendy and her kids to hell at the trial, despite the insane amount of evidence of his abuse, I doubt they would provide much insight anyway. I know that Wendy and Randy were released last year and have been privately and quietly since then. Wendy mentioned in her only interview after her release that she may talk about her story and do speaking engagements and stuff, but for now she just wants to focus on rebuilding her life and family. I truly hope the Maldonados have found the peace they so justly deserve.
  9. Oh Donna, I want you to win, but the only thing standing in your way is yourself. What have you done that has warranted a promotion? IIRC, she's never been more than an apprentice, and community booty for all of the male employees of Black Ink with the occasional female (I'm looking at you, Dutchess). And during this time, you've been fired and rehired twice. I'm skeptical of Sky's management skills myself, especially after that whole pitch meeting for her vagina workout video (that was painful to watch) but at least she's been an actual employee. The jealousy seething off of Donna was palpable. I'm no Sky fan, but Donna...she gave you a place to stay after your marriage ended, somehow managed to get you a job, etc. You came off as crazy and ungrateful, for real. And PS, who your boss is sleeping with is NONE of your business. As long as he signs your paycheck, that's all you need to care about. Speaking of Cease, I don't buy this Kitty/Ceaser "romance," but I do buy that they've been FOBs since before him and Dutchess broke up. They do have chemistry and have had it since Episode 1. That is the worst kind of snake, IMO, one that will smile in your face and suck your man's dick the second you turn your back. I'm actually looking forward to seeing her get maced next week.
  10. 2. Totally agree...there's a fine line between Latino Machismo and being a straight up asshole. Manager = more money, Lalo. It's funny how they never mention that part. But I guess the dramz is what will get Melody a spot in the opening credits next season, since Dutchess probably won't be a part of it after this (countdown to her own show in 3, 2, 1...). You're hitting below the belt with those mom and managing family comments though. That's an awful thing to say to a new, first time mom and enough for me to take a swipe at your face with the switchblade you cut my hand open with during that stupid commitment ceremony. 3. Methinks Ceasar has been giving Miss Kitty some milk for a while now, pre breakup, that hookup went from 0 to 60 a little too quickly. Plus, who gets that possessive that quickly? At least Dutchess and Cease were in an actual relationship when he start appointing her Queen of Everything. Kitty was a one night stand. Something in the milk ain't clean (haha.). 5. Mr. & Mrs. Duncan are just weird, but watching this last night, my husband noticed Nikki say something along the lines of "I never made a secret of that!" while fighting the truthbearer. And instead of pulling the two women apart, O'Shit throws water in the other girl's face? I think he already knows about Nikki's skeletons and married her anyway. And looking back I don't think he's ever directly denied knowing anything. But like Ceasar said, it's his life and his business. No point in trying to "expose" facts he seems to already know about. Side bar: I need to know where Nikki gets her wigs from, I really thought that hair was growing out of her head. 6. I've wondered what Walt's role was since season 1 but clearly it's to bring the funny. So he can stay :-) 6.
  11. Agreed about Kathy...honestly can we really call her Crazy at this point? She has every right to take him to court. We've watched her scream and fight for money to help with their son the entire four (five? I can't remember) seasons he's been on this show. Each time he's gone back on what he's promised. And with VH1 cutting him a check, he really has no excuse to not pay her anything. O'SHIT ain't shit, and niether is his shady ass wife. Y'all are broke but she can fly to DR for a week and get a "mommy makeover?" Girl, bye. Also agree about Skye. Her schtick was funny at first, but between the fighting, the screeching at ALL times, flashing her foobs and talking about her sad vagina, she has just become unbearable to watch. I don't know if she's on something or she's just fighting to keep her spot on the show. Newsflash Lalo...a baby is a helluva lot more permanent than a marriage. You can walk away from a marriage relatively unscathed. But a child permanently links you whether you are in a relationship or not. That commitment ceremony was a quick save from that whole argument. A lot of women are more enamored by a wedding than the the actual marriage, I just did not think Melody was one of them. They're still cute though. Now, that whole mess at the Tattoo Convention...I got secondhand embarrassment for Ceasar. I'm not even into tattoos like that and even I've heard of that convention. It's HUGE. I don't care that Ted is Cease's cousin, that alone is enough for him to fire his ass from any business dealings. How do you half-ass your way through that type of paperwork? And you didn't follow up with so much as a confirmation email? I also get second hand embarrassment from this whole Cease <3 Tatu Baby bullshit. They have absolutely zero chemistry and you can't convince me she would even look twice at his Milk Dud head if the cameras weren't rolling. The closest they've gotten was her trying to teach him to salsa, and even that was awkward. I'm not sure who they're trying to fool with that storyline, other than a quick check for Tatu Baby. Sidebar: I was a pretty avid watcher of Ink Master, I don't recall Tatu Baby having that much T & A. She must have gotten the mommy makeover too *Kanye shrug* As much as they are trying to paint Dutchess as some heartless bitch who left poor whittle Cease, and I am definitely not a fan of hers...she's the one winning here. She has her shop, which she has been talking about since season one. She does appearances, fundraisers, etc and as snooty as she can be, she seems to be very business minded. Why is wrong for leaving a man who completely humiliated her out on the street, in front of her family, and on television? Whether you believe the story or not (which I do believe). And even after all that, she still agreed to meet up with him so he could explain, and he stood her up. And THEN she finds random vaginas on his computer and text messages? Eff that. There's not one woman on here that would be okay with any of this. Why shouldn't she move on with her life? She lives in a completely different state so why hold on to something that isn't going anywhere. Good for her for focusing on herself. And that dress she was wearing at the convention was gorgeous. Clearly she managed to get her paperwork done ;-)
  12. She absolutely knew who they were. My husband grew up in the same projects as Yandy (Grant in West Harlem) and though he doesn’t know her well, when she first started appearing on L&HH he remembered seeing her in passing around the ‘hood. But he DOES know Keisha (the girl that charged the stage, he didn’t know the guy). He called her by name immediately as security was hauling her out of there. Several of his friends know her too. Her and Yandy are childhood besties, and IIRC, Keisha was in Yandy’s “wedding” special helping her pick out a dress. So for her to accidentally call her out by name and then immediately deny that she didn’t know who they were was complete BS, and the black card confirmed it. Like someone said above, I don’t know who Yandy pissed off in production because ALL of her dirty laundry is coming out in the rinse, and she is the worst liar I have ever seen. She had always been showcased as the golden child above all the drama with the great career and the loving husband, etc. This year? Not so much. As for the rest… Kimbella/Juelz: Yawn. The only thing I have to say about them is that Kim girl…a little goes a long way in terms of makeup and wardrobe. It’s time to hang up that extra tight video vixen stripper wear. I honestly think she is super pretty but she constantly looks about two threads from bursting out of her clothes. I think flowy boho-chic type of clothes would look amazing on her. And I know they layer on twice the makeup for TV but she’s looked embalmed throughout the entire season. Sky/Drewski/Bianca: Of course he proposed, and I’m sure Sky knew about it because she looked less than surprised. Bianca had a point about Drew saying he “saved” Sky from being a hoe, basically. I don’t know if I could get past that, along with all the other stupid and disrespectful shit he did this season. That said, Bianca made herself look like a damn fool this season, and if she comes back, I hope they give her a better storyline. Peter/Tara/Amina: What can I say about these three that hasn’t been said already for the PAST FOUR YEARS? It’s going to be and endless cycle of bodily fluids, STDs, and baby drama until one of them DIES. Peter most likely will be first, since he’s the only one on that stage old enough to be collecting AARP. He’s not going to change, and they know that and are okay with it. That story that Amina told about the weird orgy-like situation her and Peter got into the night before they got married, which he THEN went home to Tara afterwards, turned my stomach. If that isn’t enough for Tara to stay off that dirty dick, I don’t know what will be. I will say Tara was winning in the looks department, because Amina was looking ROUGH on that stage. Just worn down and sad. But I can’t really feel sorry for her, because she’s allowing him to stay in her life on an intimate level. They can co-parent without sleeping together. I think I’m done with this franchise. Remy summed it up perfectly…a lot of immaturity happened this season, moreso than usual, and it left a very bitter aftertaste. Like I said before, I’d watch a spin off of the Mackies, and it is entirely possible that they’ll get one with Remy’s newfound and well deserved popularity (even before the whole Nicki Minaj thing which BTW OUCH!). We’ll see. See you in the ATL!
  13. My thoughts exactly as I was watching this mess, and Yandy up there nodding like "that's right, boo" as he's telling this cock and bull story. As annoying as Kimbella is with inserting herself in this bullshit, she dropped a holy gem of truth during that whole "sit down" with MNDC's harem and they mamas…that dirty dick dog ass Tony Montana wannabe played ALL of them, and deep down they know it. Yandy can flash that ring all she wants, but the fact of the matter is that there is a reason why she did not legally marry MNDC. She did it to protect herself financially because she knew shit was going to go down. I'd respect her a whole lot more if she just came right out and said that, and stop acting like that piece of jewelry that she happens to wear on her left ring finger puts her anywhere above Erika and Sam. The saddest about all of this is that Little MNDC is old enough to know what's going on, and that all of these grown women can't stop fighting long enough for these siblings to be together. I agree with this, but my issue is that Cardi built her whole "career" by acting a fool on Instagram. Not that this should make her immune to social media bullying, but she shouldn't be a stranger to it. What bugs me about her whole reaction is that she didn't even give Asia a chance to explain where she was coming from. It very well could have been a classic "hating on the girl that they guy's cheating with, instead of the guy who's doing the cheating" and Asia was maybe going to apologize to her. But Cardi didn't even give her a chance to talk without acting like a damn fool. And then her sitting on Swift's lap and all that? She showed how young minded and simple she really is. No words for the Creep Squad and their bullshit, except that Peter telling Mariah that she would be better off taking her career goals far away from their bromance mess was the smartest thing I've ever heard him say on this show. And I hollered when Nina asked Pap why he wasn't part of the creep squad and he just pointed to his Black Love hat. I wish he had come right out and said, "Because I love and respect women, especially my wife, which is more than I can say for those fools." Speaking of the Mackies, I would watch the shit out of their show, as long as they're producing it and they have creative control aka no contrived bullshit.…I absolutely adore them. It was heartbreaking to hear their story again, but so sweet how they both said that they want to make sure the other one is okay and getting through the loss. They truly are the "Love" that Love and Hip Hop is missing.
  14. Last time I checked, the entire series is on Hulu, I was binge watching not too long ago :-) Me too, me and my friend/next door neighbor watched it with her grandmother religiously, and we continued to watch up until a few episodes after Rita died and Chris left. The new people just didn't have the same chemistry. Watching it as an adult, I know the sex and violence is pretty tame by today's standards, but damn, I don't know how my 9-year old self was allowed to watch this show without the adults in my life batting an eyelash, LOL! Now if they would just release New York Undercover SOMEWHERE, my life would be complete :-)!
  15. Yandy probably told her, but honestly her showing up uninvited with none of her kids, with the sole purpose of acting like an asshole at a kid's party was ridiculous. I don't like this Kimbella at all. Kimbella from Season 2 was kind of a bubblehead, but sweet. This Kimbella has been fighting at every given turn and it's just plain weird. It can't all be about Juelz. Something else has to be happening. And WORD on the house, I'm sure it's a short term rental filled up with Aaron's furniture, courtesy of VH1…I haven't heard a hit from Juelz since the early 2000s, with that Whistle Song that he did. And that wasn't a big enough hit to afford that massive mansion, or those luxury cars. These people need to stop pretending we're buying their flashy lifestyle bullshit.
  16. CO sign on this! Amina did have moderate success in Black Buddafly, and I have no doubt she could find some as a solo artist if she goes the independent route. I'd love to see her navigating LA, being a single mom, going on open mics, writing songs, teaching yoga, MAYBE going on a few casual dates etc. No Peter, no Tara, no drama. Tara can keep Dirty Feet Pete and keep on thinking that she won this war. They've been on that carousel for almost two decades, and they can stay on it. And because it can't be said enough, I <3 New York! GIFs of the OG HBIC should be used regularly :-)
  17. SO MUCH WORD to Remy and Papoose. I don't know if is's because I came of age in the 90s, when men wrote songs about loving one woman, but I'd much rather see a much loving, happy committed couple on TV. Honestly, the only other couple that has come close to that on this show was Jim and Chrissy. They had their issues but they truly seemed to have each other's backs and love each other. I'd rather see that, than a bunch of 40+ year old men boning everything that moves and fighting over who is the best at being a philandering asshole. I teared up over Pap's reaction to Remy sharing her pregnancy news and I sobbed during their loss. It's not fair that a solid couple that literally has withstood the odds and that actually want a child should have to go through that, meanwhile Dirty Feet Pete has an entire soccer team with multiple women. On top of that, wasn't this filmed almost a year ago? All I could think of is all the interviews Remy did leading up to the premiere, and people asking her about when she was going to give Pap the baby she promised him, the social media comments, etc. and being contractually forced to not saying anything about losing their baby. That had to be really tough. Proof positive that we just need to stay out of a woman's uterus, period (no pun intended). Count me on the side that is not interested in the least in seeing Peter & Tara Version 15.0. Good for Amina for packing up both of her girls and moving across the country. I hope she never looks back and I hope she does manage some sort of a musical career, because she is talented. Peter never did confirm that him and Amina are divorced, did he? Seems to me Peter is just going back to Tara because it's convenient, and she'll fall right back into it, because it seems like it's all she knows. Peter's lucky that her family didn't do a collective beat down during her party, because they sure looked like they wanted to during that speech. I do feel bad for Kimbella because whatever Juelz did must have really hurt her, BUT…she made the choice to take him back and continue a relationship with him. The only way she's going to be able to hold on to any semblance of sanity is to truly put everything that happened behind her and start fresh, without constantly drudging up the past. That alone will make you crazy. Do I think Juelz is being 100% faithful to her? Absolutely not, but that's why she needs to keep it moving. Living in a big (rented) mansion and having a flashy lifestyle is so not worth trading your peace of mind for.
  18. Bolded my favorites :-) No way someone was willing to pay Peter $10k for an appearance. They had one hit back in the day and that was it, and he is not a likable character on L&HH. So something is fishy with that story, and I still don't quite understand what the beef was between him and Cisqo. Glad they made up though, in typical male "fight it out then cry it out" fashion. And because it can't be said enough, go away Tara. Singing the same old "Me and Peter really don't have anything to do with each other, I swear we don't" song with post-pregnancy bloat. I hope Amina finally ran far, far away from that mess. I'm fairly recently married, and we had our ceremony in NY, and from my experience, it's the officiant that sends off the paperwork to the clerk's office, not the married couple. So basically, Yandy is full of shit with her whole "I didn't mail the paperwork" line. Her "officiant" must have been some friend there to play a pastor on TV for their wedding special, and nothing was actually filed, not even an application. I give her props for protecting herself financially though, not even gonna lie. Agreed about MariahLynn, she is very pretty with minimal makeup and non-leotard clothes. I have a soft spot for her, and for some odd reason she reminds me of Venus Xtravanganza from "Paris is Burning." Her mannerisms and whatnot. Not that I would ever wish that fate on her, but something about her gives me Venus vibes. I do want her to succeed, without DJ Smirkoff.
  19. This is entirely possible, I'm guessing if you take out enough business loans, you can live semi-comfortably off the leftovers. There's only so long that's going to last. The Gorgas are definitely going to be going down the same path as the Guidices, they've just been hiding it better. They'd better hope Melissa doesn't lose her spot as a full time HW, because they've clearly been living off her salary for a while, or at the very least paid off a good chunk of their mortgage and debts with it. In fact, Melissa should probably be sending Jackie a muffin basket for giving her a storyline for the 8th season!
  20. I guess Melissa has a storyline for Season 8...and Kim D for that matter... Melissa's Business Partner Secretly Empties Envy over Holiday Weekend
  21. I completely agree with this, especially the bolded part. There were some really effed up things going on in that Gorga house, and it wasn't the "incredible Italian upbringing" that they like to brag about, and the truth started bubbling up in Season 3. Papa Gorga has always given me a creep vibe, the vicious below-the-belt way they all attacked each other, the long history of fights between the parents etc. That's why I can't completely hate on Melissa, because I think she didn't realize how much of a shit storm she married into when her and Joey got together. That's also why I can't get on the board that the truce between her and Tre is only for the show. Some of it may be, but I think more than anything, they saw how they were on previous seasons, how much their kids were hurting, plus the very real life situation of Tre and Joe getting indicted, and they just got tired. So instead of continuing nonsense fighting that has literally spanned generations, they just decided to stop and move forward. Nothing really to say about anyone else…Teresa basically erased any redemption that she built up throughout the season (FYI I drive a Ford and I rather like it, thankyouverymuch), Jacqueline lived up to her wacky name, Dolores and Siggy were just there, and Andy seemed over it. I don't think this franchise is going to last much longer.
  22. Co-sign with everyone who is loving the Gorgas and the Guidices bonding together. Long after this show is over, these people are still blood, the kids are close in age, they live near each other, and are first cousins…seriously, who friggin' cares about what happened almost 10 years ago? And who cares whether Mel and Tre are "faking" it, which in my opinion, they aren't. Burying the hatchet and ending what seems like generations of nonsense is what matters, and I'm really enjoying watching it. Joe Gorga definitely wins this episode. He is the happiest I've seen him since he's been on this show, truly enjoying his time with his sister and nieces, and loving the bond growing between Mel and Tre. I loved the way he was all smiles and didn't even waiver when he gave hugs and kisses to the bum ass Wakiles and sour-ass Lauritas. And I adored the way he was giving Chris the side-eye when he was saying Jackaloon wasn't overreacting. This episode made me forgive him for his caveman act earlier in the season. That may be him to an extent, but not as extreme as he was putting on. The Gorgas are winning in general this season. Melissa seems a lot more calm, and lot more in control of the image she puts forth, and not indulging in the nonsense. Speaking of the Lauritas, I think we got proof tonight as to why it was a good choice that Chris didn't go to Joe Guidice's going away party. Jacqueline's collagen-inflated lips were saying "I TOTALLY don't mind if you go, honey!" but in her mind she was going, " You BETTA NOT!" And Dolores knew this, which is why she said on camera for him to "support his wife," but pulled him aside after the cameras left and told him, "Boy, you know that crazy bitch will make your life a living hell if you go to that party without her." The way Jac acted at Dolores' party and the way she's acted all season proves that she has the mentality of an 11 year old, and that was in front of people, on camera. Can you imagine the craziness that she would have put him through in private if he had gone to that party?! I almost feel sorry for him. The blank look he gets on his face when she's ranting and raving, the way he glosses over when he's "defending" her. I don't even think he believes the justification he's trying to put forth when she has one of her meltdowns. It's like he's telling himself, "I have to say this, it's for my kids, I have to say this, we need the money…" I refuse to believe that the voice of reason way back from season one who told Jacqueline and his sisters that they were acting like idiots when they were ganging up on Danielle is gone. There's a reason why he keeps turning a blind eye to his wife's crazy. Not much to say about Dolores, I did like the kitchen remodel, but it's nothing spectacular. Gray seems to be the color of the decade when it comes to renos. I did chuckle a bit when she made her speech about her new found independence and life blah blah blah, all the while smooching her ex-husband, who paid for the whole thing. I see you, Dolo. Keep riding that gravy train, honey. And she just wins because of her Grandma. God bless her, makes me miss both of my grandmas. Oh Siggy, I used to like you, but then I realized the reason I liked you was because I had only experienced you in small doses. She is ridiculous and overbearing. Her logic for not spending time with her mother was ridiculous. It makes me really curious as to why she has carried this "relationship expert" title with such pride, because she seems to know very little about them: family, romantic, friendships etc. But I guess everything sounds like a big deal when you throw "expert" at the end *shrug* And I was HORRIFIED when she told that crowd of people that her son came out of her cookie. I mean, that's obvious and I know we as parents say and do things that embarrass our teens, but geez, draw a line somewhere, Sig!
  23. Man, the desperation wafting off of Kathy was so palpable this episode, you could almost see swirling it around like smoke. I completely and fully believe that she is pushing so hard for a reconciliation with Teresa, because they need the money to pay for that monstrosity of a house her and Rich built, when they thought she was going to be a full time HW. What do two empty nesters need with that much space?! I remember when Teresa Checks In was on, both Joes appeared on WWHL, and Andy asked Juicy whether the Wakiles had reached out to him and the girls while Teresa was locked up, and he said he hadn't heard from them at all. I believe him, and I believe Kathy has said some shit too, behind the scenes. We've seen how quickly she can turn nasty. Rosie on the other hand…I think she genuinely wants to have a relationship, with Juicy at the very least. No idea why he iced her out the way he did, but again, the countdown begins for his time at camp, so maybe he just didn't want to be bothered. Speaking of camp, Teresa cannot be that delusional to think that her girls had NO IDEA she was locked up. They're not babies, they have access to the internet 24/7, there was no hiding the fact that you were up there doing time. I have to say, Tre looks great with the fairer skin aka no fake and bake tan. I hope she keeps that look (I doubt it though). Tre's girls with Nicholas was very sweet to watch. I've heard the same thing about older girls being paired with younger autistic boys. My son has an incredible bond with his older cousin, and they are 16 years apart. It is really discouraging knowing that the drama is coming soon. With all of their BS, Jac and Tre seemed to have had a cute friendship. Melissa and Joe's scene was painful to watch, mostly because of the bad acting. Their drama is completely producer driven. I remember back in season 3 when Melissa came on the scene, she quipped to her sister that they had a nanny for their kids because Joe worked hard and they could afford one, unlike Joe and Tre who always used her parents to babysit. Where is this nanny now? She could pick the kids up from school in the afternoon. I agree with Ghoulina, it's not about money, it's about wanting something for yourself. She married him right out of college, had babies back to back, and now that they're all in school, what's wrong with pursuing a career? That scene with her family getting together to have dinner was really nice though.
  24. Wow…I've never had a real problem with Juicy Joe, but man is he a mean drunk. Just from that first scene when Teresa and Gia were in the kitchen talking and he comes up to them slurring about the dog, you could see his teeth were purple, thanks to the copious amounts wine I'm sure he had been consuming all day. Goodness only knows what he's like off camera. I get that he's having a hard time dealing with the fact that he's going to prison, but really…is this how you want to spend the last month with your family? Lashing out at them? Gia is right on when she said that going away will be good for him. He will have no choice but to dry out, and to think and to really mourn his family and learn to appreciate what he has. I know she'll miss him, but she seems kind of relieved that he's going. My heart breaks for that girl, it really does. Count me in with everyone who was just confused about Joe's screaming friend outside of Teresa's book signing. Who in their right mind would bring a 12 year old to a bar? And he's losing his shit over it like he was being banned from the hottest club downtown or something. It was just weird. The exchange between Jackie and Melissa in Envy made me giggle, as well as her exchange with Joe about getting the kids to their various activities…"Wah-wah you're in the Bahamas and I'm stuck here in the snow at the shop!" "Well, welcome to owning a business, honey!" "Wah-wah, can't you pick Gino up from wrestling, I have to drop him off!" "It's my turn to have a night out, you just got back from a girl's weekend, didn't you?" I'm trying to give Melissa a pass though, since she was a SAHM and wife for so long, and doesn't seem to have worked at all since college, since she married Joe shortly after graduating. It has to be an adjustment. Also, I don't really understand why these retailers cheat themselves out of an insane amount of money by not offering at least a few plus sized options. Jackie was dead on when she said the average size of a woman is a size 14, not a size 0 (I don't think Melissa is a zero, maybe like a size 4), and not everyone wants to rock a romper or a skin tight dress. Rather than fighting with Jackie about it, Melissa needs to take what she says in stride, because she is the one with the retail experience and the success. But again, I believe all that is for the cameras though. From what I heard, Jackie is the one who actually owns Envy, and owns several boutiques around the country. She uses Melissa to promote, and I guess part of the deal was to take a little crap so she could have a story line. Like I said before, I don't understand Delores's situation and why she's content with her ex-husband of 16 years financially supporting her, to the point of her not even opening the bills. My husband is the primary breadwinner and generally takes care of the financials (I call him the CFO of our house) LOL) because he's better organized with stuff like that, but that doesn't mean I'm not aware of anything. If there ever came a point where I had to take over, I have to know how and where the money is going, especially God forbid something happens to him. But I guess if it works *shrug* My ex's parents were the same way. They had been married for close to 30 years, but had been separated for over a decade. He was living in FL, her in NY, he paid all the bills on her house, had it completely renovated, joint credit card, etc. Whatever money she earned was just for groceries and recreation. It was weird, but they were a weird family, period. Good stuff? Not too much Jacqueline this episode, though I want to punch Asslee in her overinflated mouth for baiting and feeding into her mother's insecurities, and sadly it looks like Whacko's drama is going to be bubbling over very soon. I also enjoyed watching Joe Gorga take Antonia to the father daughter dance, very sweet moment. I am also really enjoying Siggy, and this more mellow Teresa.
  25. SO MUCH THIS. Those proud moments are endless, and it is amazing. My son has made so many leaps and bounds over the past two years, the tears I shed are mostly from joy. I totally understand her sadness and maybe she is just starting to see that Nick will never "recover." But he has clearly progressed tremendously since when we first found out about his autism. That is a reflection of hard work and therapy and she really should be proud of him and herself too. I think that's what bugs me most about Jac being on the show again. I know it's a stretch to even think this but…she completely could have used this platform to spread autism awareness and showing her daily life with Nick, dealing with his therapies, his ups and downs, going to parent support groups, researching funding for therapies (she's not far off about the financial hardships of raising a child on the spectrum, and most therapies and treatments are not covered by insurance), speaking engagements, etc. New Jersey currently has the highest ASD diagnosis rate in the country, and she really could have connected with local women here who may be going through something similar. It could have been the subject of her book, rather than that stupid "Get Your It Together" nonsense, desperately hanging on to some semblance of youth and Vegas party girl. But instead she's using it to act like a complete psycho and alienate everything and everybody around her.
