  1. I think what they were getting at was that Bud is not okay with loving everyone separately and doesn't feel like everything is really fine. That is his perspective on why Grace needs to be settled in a retirement community, not because he is a unfeeling son. What I don't get is why someone as seemingly kind and charming as Coyote doesn't seem to actually get along with anyone but Bud and Mallory. They never imply that he has any kind of social life outside of his new girlfriend, Bud, and his Mom. Maybe because everyone else is wealthy and he is just a high school teacher makes people like Bud's girlfriend, Brianna, and Grace see him as not worth getting to know. It also shows that Bud and his girl are not really well suited for each other. Family is important to Bud and he is close to his brother, but his girl doesn't seem to see it as necessary to make any kind of effort. All in all, they packed in a lot of information in the few minutes they were given. I would rather see Bud and Coyote then Robert and Sol any time. There scenes together are always well acted and serve a purpose to the story that is being told.
  2. I agree. Sol was spot on about Robert over identifying with the neighbor. It's none of his business. I think what they were getting at is that Robert has a lot of regrets about his marriage.
  3. Not sure I like the fact that season 4 ended with Bud and Coyote moving on with lives (they both deserve it but I have a feeling it means seeing less of them in season 5) while Mallory and Brianna are becoming closer. The girls never seemed as interesting to me and never seemed like sisters while Bud and Coyote have always been a side story that is fun to watch. They play close brothers really well and their quirks and mannerisms match like real siblings tend to do. I hate to see less of them when Coyote moves away and Bud's story will be boring baby and wedding stuff.
  4. Loved every moment of Ethan Embry in this episode. How he plays Coyote is both funny and heartbreaking. How he is so eager to please Bud still, how he is the only one who will get excited about stupid stuff because he loves his brother, makes even Bud seem more interesting. I wish they went more into the brother's relationship, and how Coyote's addiction problems affected Bud, but they never do seem to go into it. I even loved how earnestly happy he seemed to be to get the eggs. And how he didn't react to Mallory driving off after bumping the Porsche. He plays him like a guy who has been through a lot of shit, all the world gets to see is the happy seemingly carefree guy though. He plays an ex-addict better than anyone else I've ever seen.
  5. Vicky and Tamara both seem to be bitter betties this season. I think they are doing their best Bethany Frankle impersonations. If you are over it and don't want to be on the show, don't be on the show, simple as that. I like that Peggy at least seems to genuinely enjoy showcasing her life to the cameras. She probably is there mainly to launch her daughters as models or socialites, but she does have a beautiful family and nice things, which is refreshing to see. Shannon seems completely deflated and flat this season. I wish they would film her more with her family or actual friends instead of boring Tamara who seems to have nothing to say to the woman. They probably agreed to be filming partners but don't strike me as actual friends. I doubt Tamara is the type of woman that Shannon would associate with in her real life.
  6. They really do have no connection to each other. They don't even live in the same areas and seem to have no mutual friends. Megan doesn't even live in the same state, she is just staying in their California house for filming. Jim is flying in to CA so Megan can do the show. I'm sure most of the time they live closer to his work so he can be around more for the day to day. He is not traveling away for work, he is traveling to Megan and the baby while she is away.
  7. Shannon sure is desperate to secure her paycheck. Did you see the look on her face when Lydia said she didn't want to have dinner with her? Like what, I need to get paid for that filming. It's too bad. I enjoyed her quirky fish out of water take on the show before. Now that they are bringing in a younger cast with the exception of the two OGs I doubt she will be around for much longer. The forced drama and fake blow ups in public just look fake and phony when she tries to pull them off.
  8. Totally agree. They are basically saying that you are somehow not a female if you do not like stereotypical girl things and are uncomfortable with boys staring at your breasts. God forbid a girl actually has a healthy amount of self esteem and self respect. I loved that they had a girl who was comfortable with liking who she was and who her friends were, then they went and ruined it.
  9. Carole is trying hard to get her credibility back after spending years of playing high school mean girls with Beth. I like them better apart, so good for her. I give her a pass for trying to appear serious, as I know the alternative is scenes of her rolling around in bed with her bestie trashing everyone else. I notice that they are both actually eating now too, which is positive. Beth almost looks healthy, she must be getting help with her eating disorder instead of projecting her obvious issues with food onto others like she did to Jules last season.
  10. Something about the whole dog lawsuit seems like an elaborate publicity stunt to me set up to support Kyle's new show and keep Kim relevant. Pretty sure the victim is a paid actor or some nonsense. Why else would they not handle it quietly outside of the courts? The Richards are desperate fame whores that way.
  11. Kind of like how Jasmine and Aladdin are smart enough to not care about all the evil queen/savior nonsense. They are rolling there eyes in the background until they could just go home. I thought it was funny how uninterested Aladdin was in granting wishes until Jasmine got a hold of the lamp. Good for them, but kind of sad that they aren't around more as Aladdin is my favorite prince. I liked the wish world. It was pretty. Wish Prince Henry would have had more of a personality though.
  12. Loved that line in the show that he said, "Avery, who is that?" or something. I love his character, but the chemistry he has with everyone almost works against him. He's always supporting someone else. I hope that they are leading up to Avery having his own story lines. Would love it if they had him get his own place that is in his taste (so we can see what his taste actually is) or if they introduced his parents (please be Luke and Laura).
  13. Maybe the fact that she dated the current president, used to party with Robert Downey, or is the sister of Kathy Hilton? She is a fascinating person who would be cool if she wasn't sure a train wreck. Plus people talk about her, just look at this board. I think it's exploitation for Bravo to keep on dragging her out, but she agrees to it, so it is what it is.
  14. The security tag on the dress was a planned not so subtle way of reminding us viewers that Kim stole. It was pretty lame and Kyle's pretend baffled reaction was about what you would expect from her. Too bad none of the people who are actually on the show have anything worth talking about. Dragging out Kim for everyone to dig into is pathetic and dull.
  15. They probably don't care, as Kingsley is a dog and dog's bite.
