  1. Love Dune and Poison by Dior. Poison was my first grown up perfume.
  2. #4 is complete bs. So is the one about the eyebrows. I refuse to be relegated to old crow status before my time. I'm over 50. I can make my own damned rules. F**k her.
  3. I'm planning on getting the whole collection. It looks beautiful.
  4. I lost my mom in 1980. I remember her liking gardenias and carnations.
  5. I also swear by the Maybelline various Nudes palettes and Wet n Wild eyeshadows. The Walking on Eggshells trio is universally perfect. It looks good on everyone. I have at least three backups just in case.
  6. I'm wearing CITS today. I think CR and CITS are the two most perfect reds ever created.
  7. I wore Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Certainly Red.
  8. Actually it's easy to do. Turn it into an "event musical", like "Les Miserables", "Sweeney Todd", "Phantom of The Opera" et cetera...
  9. Check with a shoe repair shop. They repair anything made of leather.
  10. I'm planning on painting my fingernails tomorrow. L.A. Colors Color Craze line in "Wired." It's a beautiful navy shimmer.
  11. Yes it is. I have a couple of the mini spray bottles. I always loved that it smelled like pink pencil erasers.
  12. Try Revlon's Quick Dry Topcoat and their Liquid Quick Dry. They work like a charm for me. Hope this info helps!
  13. Hi! Long time lurker. I found this video to be very helpful. I added exfoliating and hyaluronic acid serum to my skincare regime and it's made a world of difference. Hope this info helps!
  14. I also find that if applied this way, no raccoon eyes.
  15. Hi. Long time lurker here. My advice? Curl, one coat of waterproof, then your regular mascara. It works.
  16. Re: "hoarding" supplies. I miss hoarding in case of a blizzard. Toilet paper. I used to by the double rolls of Cottonelle (24 = 48), I only had to purchase it twice a year. Same with paper towels. All that good stuff. Good times. It saved money in the long run.
  17. Here's some info with a list of the "Top 5": http://www.skincareqc.com/best-glycolic-acid-lotion/
  18. He wasn't poking fun. He was throwing major, major shade. I figure it cost her more to go out there for the couple of days work it probably took. I figure she lost money on the deal.
  19. Day rate for a performer is pretty low. She most likely got paid scale, which in 2015 was $335. I can't imagine it's much more than that now. http://www.abspayroll.com/payroll101-sag-rates.html
  20. I miss gardening. When I lived back east, I could decorate and have cute stuff out amongst my flowers. Since I moved back to California, that's impossible. The decorations would get stolen within an hour of putting them out.
  21. I got the pneumonia shot last September. My arm ached for nearly 3 months! Good thing it lasts for a few years.
  22. Hi! I've been lurking for months. I really like everyone's insights. I could not agree more about how audiences behave anymore. I haven't been to the theatre in many years and it was getting bad back then. I come from a theatrical family (my aunt is currently in the ensemble of "She Loves Me" and her husband is the percussionist for "Fiddler On The a Roof." I was taught to keep my mouth shut once the curtain goes up. If a fuss was made, we left the venue and it was burned into my brain not to ruin the event for others. I think cellphones should be checked with coats. I have other opinions also, I'll write my dissertation later... LOL
