I don't mind Dev's accent because they made a point of him putting effort into changing it. He did say it was no problem, but it's not like it "went away" naturally, he's putting on an american accent like a lot of actors do for roles. Obviously though, the actor is a native english speaker, so it sounds a little too perfect. He's no Mathew Rhys (actor from the Americans who was a Welsh man acting a Russian with a Fake American accent)

I do agree with that, lol. Even if he died in a shootout where he had also killed like 3 goons and an innocent bystander he'd still get the hero edit.

I don't like how horrible they are making Roxy's parents seem. I don't remember if they looked this bad in the first ep of the original series, but here they come across very bad in that scene with the lawyer. and... I hate Edie.

I don't think RuPaul could be Leopard. He's not British of any extraction, and that voice, even singing, was obviously British.

Julian and Kim were together until almost the day she and FrankenDrew hooked up, so there need be no dramatic "from one bed to another" moment.

I think Sonny dying would be a very good source for drama for this show for ages. Like, so many people are in his orbit. In fact, I'd go so fra as to say that Sonny's violent death would be a good start to a final arc at the end of the show.

Actually, Liz and Franco have offhandedly discussed having a child together, but it was more of a throw away than anything else. it was... Christmas time ish? or maybe before the wedding/earthquake not sure which. That is a story I do want to see though. Like, regardless of whether Franco wants children of his biological own, I can not see him in a million years leaving any child to be raised by someone as crazypants as Kim is. He knows how kids with crazy moms turn out... like him. Regardless of a brain tumor, Betsy's unbalanced ass made Franco quite off kilter and definitively contributed to his abuse with her "fragile" state and then convincing him that Andy was imaginary to cover her own ass. Kim would have a child raised to believe he has an invisible older brother who he has to give presents to each Christmas or something.

Maybe its a symptom of his brain being a bag of scrambled eggs right now.

Maybe Julian and Lulu can commiserate over crazy exes..... As for the old school Snarly baby name.... eh, people are rolling back around to naming kids after older relatives, and there is a definite backlash after decades of more "interesting" names. We are in a world where the Tiffanys and the Jordyns are going to be less prevalent, thank goodness.

If this were a good soap.... they would have a situation where people thought something inappropriate was going on, and put it out on the internet. A look at cancel culture, where even the appearance of doing something wrong can ruin a life. Maybe have someone dig up old MyFace or whatever posts that "prove" that he is a bad guy.

Who will be next for Julian though... Olivia again? Willow? Nina? Kristina (oh, I... ew at my own brain)?

Not for nothing, everyone who watched Glee knows the lyrics to Sweet Caroline. I'm in my 30s and that is the first place I ever really noticed that song.

Tony deserved it. Like, I hated Robin at that time.... and haven't grown to exactly love her over time, but what he did to her and Michael was not ok, and his ass should have gone to jail. I always felt that, though Carly was DEFINITIVELY in the wrong regarding her relationship with Tony in the beginning, he was a complete asshole as soon as he felt he could get out of it and get the baby too, and then he became totally entitled and obsessive. It was quite damaging to him as a character in my eyes.

I am looking forward to this series as a long time fan of the books. I especially enjoy that they will apparently be going full Gossip Girl with Lady Whistledown doing VO, and well cast doing it as well. As this is Netflix, they could just show the issue with Daphne and her husband, as is, or perhaps show her writing a letter to someone asking advice that she doesn't send, so that we can see her inner thoughts on the subject without actually having her getting any input from outside sources. I would hate to have this taken out of the story though, it's a good and realistic point of drama for a couple to have internally, and at the time it was one of the only forms of contraception available without a great deal of scandal involved. I imagine being caught acquiring dodgy potions and whatever was available for condoms would have been quite a big deal, even if the couple were in agreement on the subject. I hope this show goes on and on. I want to get to the more tangental stories in this series as well. I want Smythe-Smiths!!!

Now THAT is a show that he should fit well on. GH, not so much.

My problem isn't the traveling and home schooling on their own merits, it's the why of it. It's the running away from the hard parts of life, which is what Jax was encouraging, and Sonny too. You know what kind of kids have those kind of permissive, stupid, parents? Spencer Cassidine and that Affluenza kid.

2 things. First, Carly was absolutely right about Joss and I'm annoyed as shit that Jax was being a dumbass. Sure, lets teach the 16 year old that if life is too hard, you can just run away, that will fix it! I don't like agreeing with Carly, especially against Jax. It makes my skin crawl, thanks assholes. Second, I have no problem believing that Franco can totally be forced into getting a procedure. These same people ganged up on Ryan and got his kidney, I have faith in my duplicitous medical friends. Kim can drug him, someone can forge permission, they can get a room and do this shit. I don't feel any sense of urgency or doubt.

I'm not totally interested in having Tom Hardy back, after what happened with Felecia the last time. Much rather see Dr. Jeff. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if it was just some random villain.
