Yup. I think Peter has been observing how she is with Bryan for some time now. He's commented on Bryan a couple times because it is clear in his eyes that he is treated differently from the other men and he doesn't think highly of him. I also think Peter's doubts about Rachel's feelings toward him started to grow after that hot tub/bathtub session when she did not think him worthy of the group rose. When Rachel is impressed with a man she rewards him. I expect Peter to keep protecting his heart if Rachel continues to send him mixed signals. It's very likely he will be sent home next week and then the finale will be the most predictable in history.

Peter has been a huge favorite on social media, particularly Twitter. Although he didn't force anyone to like him, there is an attempt to humble him.

Dean's hometown seemed like the Bachelor audition tape and many people on Twitter are calling for him to be the next Bachelor. His search for love would seem genuine because of his family history; the lead told him back that she was also falling in love with him and then dumped him, so he has a broken heart that needs mending; his sister says how strong of a person he is; he knows what kind of father he wants to be because of what he didn't have.

I saw the goodbye differently. He had his head on the inside of the van looking at her like he didn't want her to go. It seems like the only gestures that matter are ones where kissing is involved. I think Peter's personality is very different from the others and he's just not that outwardly effusive, so he is seen as not interested. Rachel will not choose him but I am fully in his corner.

That's too bad. I just don't see what you are seeing. He's the only one who engages her in real, substantive conversations. Anyway, I really like Peter.

How is Peter not opening up? That has never been a complaint about him and there is good reason for that. He has opened up. That man confessed to seeking therapy after a bad break up, he told her if he had reservations he would not propose, he admitted to leaving his ex broken and still feels guilt about it. If anything, Peter has been pretty candid with Rachel. I understand some might not like him but saying he's not opening up has no truth to it. I would love to hear what progress has been made with Bryan. They started out kissing and are still doing that. Their conversations have been flirtatious but void of substance. Where is the progress there? Bryan has been fortunate to not have the kind of questions the others have because Rachel has given him no room to second guess her feelings for him. She got them matching, expensive jewelry that they are still wearing after the show. Which of the other three has she done anything remotely like that for? None. I would love if one of the other men complimented her and Bryan on their watches and simply say "how nice and coupley" so she knows that they know that she has already made her choice. That should shut her down from prodding them for any love declarations and they can just enjoy Europe and wait for the end.

Eh, I love what I've seen so far of Peter. His interactions with Rachel and Dean are what have me tuning in weekly. Cardboard cutouts don't do it for me like they do for others. Yup. Dean mentioned it on Twitter and said he spilled coffee on it.

So sweet that Peter was there for his boy Dean and came through with the crisp white shirt for his "Sunday Best" date. They can at least leave the show with a few good friendships.

Were they seething with jealousy? It seemed more like realization that he is the frontrunner was sinking in. Oh well.

How is he being calculating so as to become the Bachelor? Shouldn't we see him declaring his love so that he can have a good broken-heart story that will have him searching for a woman who loves and wants him as much as he loves and wants her? He seems to be showing real life reservations and being honest with Rachel that he will tell her beforehand and not get down on one knee if he has doubts. Peter seems to be very perceptive and pays close attention to Rachel, so I know it must be bothering him to see how she is with Bryan. She might be the Bachelorette but she is not the only one searching for someone. Having matching jewelry with one of the men in the house cannot make any sensible man feel assured about where her heart and head are regarding him. This is Bryan's to lose. I'm not into what he's serving but that's irrelevant. Rachel is into it. He gives me slightly less intense creepy vibes than the Texas lawyer who was eliminated on his one-on-one.

When is Franco expected back? I'm bored. Have mercy! His absence has been so damn long. There better be a good explanation for it.

I'm sorry, but that's crap. Which scientist was actually there to test anyone at the exact moment he/she fell in love? Also, for these findings to be scientific they must be replicated with the same results. Where are these tests and findings documented and who made up this sample? Anyway, I stick by what I said before. Nobody falls in love with another person instantly. You can be attracted to what you're seeing and hearing, but as long as you don't know the other person, what you think you are in love with is a figment of your imagination.

None of them should be "in love" with Rachel yet and it has nothing to do with letting yourself go. What are you in love with if you don't know the other person? I just rolled my eyes when Bryan said it on their first date.

I also see what you are both seeing. Perception and interpretation of his actions are what are varying on Peter. Viewers' frames of reference are pushing them in one direction or another. I know people who would react like Peter if faced with someone who seemed tipsy or drunk, and one of them is myself. Maybe he's thinking too much and is too aware of the cameras, so he doesn't want to embarrass himself or have Rachel embarrass herself on national t.v. He came on the show for her, he has always found time to be with her and get to know her, he has been passionate with her, and he observes her carefully even when they are not having one-one-time. To me the man is more than interested. He doesn't need to be slobbering over her every time the camera is around to show me that. Rachel is the Bachelorette but she's not the only one searching for a potential partner here.

Like many others, I love Peter. I have no time crucifying him for rhyming good and hood. All the men know of Rachel's privileged upbringing. Peter is just such a palette cleanser after Nick Viall. Eliminated Anthony and Dean are two other faves. I care about the franchise again. Hallelujah! I think Rachel is doing a great job and asking the right questions. Bryan's appeal is the only thing I don't quite understand. Is it that he makes her feel desired because I haven't been shown anything else?

Good for you. This is how all actors should be judged. I don't care about who played the character before or which soap the actor is coming from. As long as he's bringing the writers' stories to life and causing me to care or be entertained, I am all on board. I think Roger has been doing a stellar job playing a character that is largely hated and I love watching his interactions with most of the people on canvas.

I pray this Vanessa on DWTS isn't true because Nick being on already feels like a Bachelor season I have zero interest in is being dragged the hell out. I do not want to see Nick and I hate that ABC has managed to put him on another show I watch.

We obviously do not have the same perception of this couple because I see none of what you are seeing. I am trying my best to be as open as possible observing this relationship. Liz is stronger and more assertive than I have ever seen her before, so I don't know what you're talking about when you say her self-worth is low. I see Franco as being very deliberate in making sure Liz feels empowered in the relationship. She actually holds the reins and can step away from the town pariah whenever she wants, but she is choosing to stay. Of course Franco is a little insecure and gets jealous of men he perceives as more acceptable and deserving of Liz. He doesn't see himself as worthy of the affections of a woman like Liz and thinks he will lose her to a "better" man. It will take time and love to get over that. This is realistic storytelling. Try watching without prejudice. This duo is holding my attention.

That's one way to look at it, but I choose to see it as a nice, meaty story for all actors involved to sink their teeth into. I see no propping of anybody. This playing field seems quite level to these eyes and I am thankful for good, exciting writing whenever it pops up.

I am loving Liz and Franco's story. Nothing else on this show is as interesting as what is going on with these two. The writers are doing an awesome job writing a realistic, dynamic, nuanced story around and between them. They're not shying away either from making either look bad or human to please loud, whiny audience members. The actors are doing a freaking fantastic job of playing it out too and it helps massively that they have great chemistry. Life is messy and I don't want to watch perfect people. This viewer is hooked.

I don't feel sorry for Debbie one bit. She insisted on having that kid. She needs to now figure out how to make life work with it. Let Frank babysit since he encouraged her to have the child. She is the most annoying character on the show.

I actually prefer Ore's Jive to Jay's. I enjoyed watching it more and I thought he did a good job.

No, Jenna choreographed a good routine on DWTS, it's just that her partner is not used to dancing and she expected too much of him. Also, 12 year old Jake on SYTYCD is a much, much better dancer and partner for Jenna than older Jake on DWTS.
