Adding, I wouldn't expect Kelli to say much about Victoria leaving on the show. She didn't when Holly quit, Erica was never mentioned and said next to nothing when Courtney Cook left. I do believe she really does care about Victoria and won't divulge her personal business. It will get a quick, standard mention and that will be all. About Holly P quitting, she said (paraphrasing), "she didn't want to ruin a young girl's life." Something like that. If she said that little and took that stand for Holly P on the show, I think she will do the same or more (less?) for Victoria.
I also think it's good that insiders aren't giving up the goods. Whatever my feelings about Victoria and the obvious nepotism, she is walking away from a dream that was beat into her from a very young age. I would imagine she's a bit lost right now. And she doesn't have a lot of friends. We never or rarely saw her hang out with other DCC's.
I truly do wish her well. And a life besides this...

I have never been secret about not liking Victoria but I blame that as much or more on her mother, Kelly and the obvious nepotism. That said, if it is food related, an eating disorder, then those around Victoria need to help her, not coddle her. A real ed is not something to screw around with. Too many moons ago I was in an edu center and there was a young woman who believed if she gained one ounce over 73lbs she was fat. They had to insert a feeding tube bc she kept throwing up the meager amts of food she would eat. Sadly, she died.
Victoria needs to realize her body, and ftr, she has a beautiful figure, is not the DCC "uniform ready" body type. It may be too hard for her to get and keep her body at what her body says is an unhealthy and unnatural weight. She needs to understand and own that is not failure. At all. It's genes. And if it is an ed I wish her well and want her to get better. This is a rabbit hole she doesn't want to spend the rest if her life in. I know.
Isn't she's in a new relationship now? That's gotta be difficult as well. Watching her new bf eat pizza, drink beer, sodas, snack? And guys eat. Wait until she gets married and is around it 24/7. And has kids.
Honestly I don't think there's that much to see in, "brave, mature and unselfish" decision. Victoria isn't deep. Maybe she realized she couldn't starve her body into DCC shape (understandably) didn't want to anymore (don't blame her) and didn't want to be trashed publicly via the show. And Kelli may have had a word with her as well and told her and her mother that, if I let V into training camp so obviously out of shape then she will be ripped apart by the masses and so will the DCC organization. They were, justifiably, for cutting Hannah and Brennan. I didn't watch even one episode last year. Not the online snippets. Nothing.
My guess is, V didn't want to be publicly torn apart as in her first year. And especially after coming back physically fit and "uniform ready." She sees not taking an automatic spot (we know Kelli would) as unselfish. And even though it's ultimately about her, it is growth.
If Victoria sees this, GO LIVE YOUR LIFE! Not the life of your mother reliving her DCC years. Your Life. You accomplished what thousands of woman couldn't. 2 years as a starving DCC (new Indie band name, Starving DCC's?) is quite an achievement. Take pages from your friends Dayton and Sam and find your life and live.
For me the bigger question in all of this is, who will Lisa suck up to now with Victoria gone? Not a fan of Lisa M. I do not think she has the DCC look and never will.
Of course this is all speculation but, to me, it's what I think is going on.

Same goes for Lori. When Mare told Ryan that he would be okay in juvie, I initially thought, "Really?" Then I remembered that he's pretty handy with a cafeteria tray so he'll probably be fine.
One thing that made me laugh was the conversation between Jess and the police chief. He asked why she and Dylan burned Erin's journals. Jess said they were afraid Erin had written something about who DJ's real father was and that they didn't want anyone to find that information because it would mean Dylan's parents losing custody of DJ. Jess specifically told the chief she thought that Erin would have wanted DJ to remain with Dylan's parents and she was trying to honor her friend's wishes, which fine. But she was trying to honor her friend's wish so much that as soon as she found the picture of Erin with John, she handed it over to the police which defeated the purpose of burning Erin's diaries in the first place.
I know Lori thinks she's doing the right thing by taking custody of DJ, but I really hope that she allows Dylan's parents to continue seeing DJ. They clearly love DJ regardless of the lack of blood ties.

They definitely have him on having sex with a minor since DJ exists and the court can do math. They could also charge him with obstruction of justice, accessory to murder, tampering with evidence, corruption of a minor (once for Ryan, once for Erin), attempted murder (for Billy), brandishing a weapon, etc.
John is just terrible. He cheated on his wife five years ago with a married woman. Then he cheated on his wife with an underage girl who he's related to, got her pregnant, refused to pay for his child's surgery, made his son keep the affair a secret, made his wife promise not to tell her best friend about any of it, told his brother to say that he had killed his cousin/abuse victim, then took his brother to a remote cabin with the intent to kill him so that he could blame his own brother for sleeping with and murdering their teenage cousin. He showed absolutely no remorse for ANY of it. And then, like the coward that he is, begged Mare to kill him so that he wouldn't have to face the consequences of his actions.
What cracked me up about that whole situation was the fact that Erin, a girl who was a teenager in the year 2021, took a selfie of the adult relative she was sleeping with and then printed the photo and put it in her diary. I know kids do print some pictures but just the idea that she walked to CVS to print this photo so she could hide it really took me out of the moment.
Because he knew that if people found out he had been fucking his teenage cousin, his life was over. If he killed Billy and then told everyone that Billy was DJ's father, then John would still get to keep his life the way it was. He was being selfish for the zillionth time in his life. Billy was right in the previous episode when he said, "You made a mess of your life cause you couldn't keep your dick in your fucking pants. Now you clean it up. I'm holding him accountable, pop. Someone needs to for once in his goddamn life."
UC Berkeley because Anne (the college DJ who Siobhan started seeing) had a media professor her freshman year who got a position at Cal. After watching Siobhan's documentary about her brother, Anne recommended that Siobhan talk to the professor and consider applying to Berkeley. I was just glad that Siobhan was able to get the hell out of her small town and start over somewhere new. The only thing that surprised me was that Mare and Frank let their only child drive all the way across the country by herself. I thought one of them would drive with her, help her get settled, and then fly back.
Yes, God forbid that a tv show not have 100% heterosexual relationships. Aside from DJ/Erin/John and Carrie/Mare's son, a lot of the character arcs would have been exactly the same if they had been involved in LGBTQIA relationships. The memo from 2021 is that there are a lot of non-straight people in this world so having three gay characters (two of whom were tertiary) on a show that had a cast of over 30 people is not exactly a stretch of the imagination for representing reality.

And now Kenny is in prison for attempting to murder Dylan who he believed murdered Erin. And isn't even the father, after all, of Erin's son. It's his cousin John who let everyone believe Dylan was the father and even comforted Kenny when Mare told him Erin had been killed. So, Kenny tried to kill Dylan for nothing and is now imprisoned for years.
John is a sociopath..
The only good part is, at least Kenny doesn't have a chance of getting DJ. If he even wanted him. That poor child has enough on his plate without Kenny being his parent and role model.

And what was up with Dylan not being home, as per his ex gf Brianna (think that's her name) the night of Erin's murder? When Brianna questioned him and he became really angry and told her to go the F home? Where was he and why was he so angry at being questioned? Was that explained? And then Dylan, who's been shot bc Erin's father mistakenly believes him to be her killer turns out to be Mr Nice guy and contributes to DJ's ear surgery? The same Dylan who stood by while Brianna beat the crap out of Erin, the supposed mother of his child? Right...
There are too many still unfinished moving pieces in this show. I loved a lot of the performances but the writing had too much filler and too many holes.

John is pure garbage. He had sex with a child and got her pregnant. He lied by omission about DJ being his. This is the 2nd affair too. He involved his brother and even debated murdering him to cover his tracks.
He doesn't get a pass for attempting to take the fall for the murder of Erin. Everything that happened was bc he cheated, again, on his wife and his son found out. His son, who is now fked up for life for trying to save his family.

If John Ross is the killer just wow is he cool as a cucumber for someone who's murdered a teenage girl. Hanging out with friends, laughing, drinking beer, acting as if nothing happened. As if he didn't just murder an innocent teenager while the police, including his wife's best friend, hunt for the killer. Even going to Erin's house to comfort her father Kenny on the murder of his daughter. All the while Billy is falling apart and slowly coming unglued.
I like the theory John has convinced Billy he's the murderer. And I too would like to know what really has traumatized Ryan to the point where he's as shut down as he is. Did he see his father murder Erin? Or sleep with Erin?
Not sure if Lori Ross is involved. She's forgiven, moved on from John's cheating before and as she said to Mare, she still loves him. Maybe she has blinders on when it comes to John or maybe she is so in love with him she chooses to move on bc that's easier than facing reality?
Dylan belongs in jail. I still can't get past him being so indifferent to the mother (or so he believed at the time) of his child getting badly beaten. He almost looked bored.
Also interesting that John and Billy are fishing at a creek, river and Erin's body was found in a creek, river.

I was so hoping we would get to see what was on the picture Jess handed to the officer. I wonder if it was a picture of Dylan posing with, holding the gun that killed Erin? And wow was he crazy with Jess telling her to keep quiet and threatening her with a gun. He had no hesitation doing so.
And now I'm having a hard time believing Billy killed Erin. He may have found her and that is why he had blood on him? Maybe he confessed bc he feels guilty and shame for having slept with and ultimately impregnated her? I do believe the baby is his.
And Colin's mom acted exactly the way I thought she would.

It certainly seemed as though Lori Ross was pushing him when asked so maybe she suspects something. Or maybe she's angry bc her husband is having another affair and taking it out on his brother. And he really did look uncomfortable. His, "will you look at the time...gotta get going" couldn't be more artificial.

So is the father of Erin's baby Billy Ross? Bc he sure looked uncomfortable when being asked how long Erin lived with him.
And its looking like Erin's best friend is somehow involved in her killing. Wow. Her and Dylan and whoever the other guy was had to plan it, even a little bit. All the while she's being being so friendly with Erin.
So many families are about to be torn apart. Who isn't messed up in this series?
I'm sad Zabel is gone. I liked him.

So Mare stole evidence to plant on the baby's mother and didn't see that it was stamped and logged as per the police station? Or just conveniently forgot? A detective? I'm supposed to believe she's dumb now? But she can find a bullet in a park, in a tree after searching for 5 hours and in the dark but not see a stamp on a heroin packet? Really?
Also wouldn't the bike have the creepy clergy man's fingerprints on it? From when he took it out of his car, picked it up and threw it in the water? Read fingerprints on metal are still accessible even after the object has been submerged for days.

Hi. New here. Love the show, so far. Hope it doesn't have a horrible ending the same as a couple of recent HBO series.
A few observations. Mr. Red Flag Professor, could he be using Mare for a character analysis for a new book? Bc there's a lot wrong with inviting someone as a date to a function and ignoring them all evening. That is, until they leave.
Mare's daughter, Siobhan? Where was she all day when Mare tried to call her? That was strange. But more then that, Siobhan had 2 very different conversations about what happened the night she saw Erin being beat up. One conversation with her mom and one with Colin, the new detective. I watched the show twice to make sure.
Conv with her mother:
M - "and what did she say?"
S - "nothing."
M - "Nothing?"
S - "she just looked at me and walked off."
Conv with Colin at police station
S - "I asked her if she needed a ride home. *She said no and pushed me away.*"
Siobhan never told her mother Erin said "no." And "looked at me and walked off" is very different from, "pushed me away."
In addition this next part seemed like textbook what a person would say. It seemed forced.....
Siobhan still talking with Colin..
"I've been thinking about that a lot and what if she'd come home with me? What if I pressed her harder?"
Maybe this is nothing. Just a few observations.

How does being "VERY drunk," in public fit into being role models to young women? Personally I could care less about any one of them or all of them getting hammered however, Kelli holding the DCC up as some glowing, gold standard to young women while some members are allegedly sleeping with players, other's are getting "VERY" drunk in pubic, in the middle of a pandemic that is still infecting and killing Americans, is another gross lie. Yes, it's a PITA to do the right thing. It's boring, it's seriously aggravating but it's called personal responsibility. Isn't that one of Kelli's key voice over phrases, "grow into responsible young women?"
Considering their lack of responsibility regarding Covid-19, really a stupid to time to fire Brennan and Hannah. At least they cared and took responsibility. And esp bc millions of Americans are forgoing Holiday activities, normal routines and practicing PPE with the hope this highly contagious virus will eventually die out.
Tess should absolutely know better. She's been a DCC for what? The last 10, 15 years? Caroline is disappointing. Daphne better be very careful. She is scary skinny. If it's true the camera adds 10lbs, then in real life she is even thinner than what is shown on TV, sm. She cannot afford to get the virus. And Kat, for all the obv reasons, I'm done with her.
This team has truly gone downhill. Really downhill.

Her smile is the only thing acceptable in that picture. She looks like she's a contestant in a body building competition, not teaching a dance class or whatever the picture is for. She doesn't look like a dcc to me.

No, Kelli. Not this time. You chose the wrong year and wrong pandemic to boost your stupid ass drama and ratings.
At the time of this posting, almost 180,000 people have died in the U.S. That we know of. People have lost family, friends and colleagues. They don't take that lightly. Sure, MTT is a reality show but you don't make light of a global pandemic and cut ladies who voiced concerns over health safety or survived the virus not once, but twice. Especially in an era where social media is so visible.
If you know anyone who has caught COVID and survived, it can be sheer hell. One of my friends said it was so heinous, it felt as though her bones were breaking.
So Charlotte, if you have any care left for your brand, you really should take a strong look at how this was handled. Folks think you also had a part in the decision making and it sure as hell wouldn't surprise me.
"World Class" has left the building. Along with it, much of what remaining respect for your DCC brand that still existed. I suggest you take a strong earnest look at your current management & priorities. Yes, Kelli, I did just tell you tonight will be your last night. Laugh all you want. I seriously could not give a flying rat's ass.

Kelli has forgotten/ignored/doesn't care a cardinal rule of TV, the fans make the show. They're the reason the show exists. Maybe not this year but eventually Kelli will not be able to hide who she's become. Women are rising up, marching and yelling, "Enough." We're tired of being degraded, lower pay bc we're women, being underappreciated and under respected. The MeToo movement hasn't gone anywhere. In fact it's gotten stronger. One veteran was punished for speaking up another for twice surviving a virus affecting millions in this country alone. How long before even die hard fans are tired of seeing women degraded on National TV? Including and especially young women? I remember Kelli giving a TC candidate a hard time bc she didn't know what the MeToo was. Does Kelli? And more importantly, does she care? Bc I haven't seen or read anything to suggest she does.

Anyone see Amanda on here? I honesty can't find her. So she is just gone? I know the rumors and I understand how controversial the vaccine is (if that's why she left, was let go) but she was in camp and then not? With no explanation? Do they think their fans won't notice?
