I think it's worth it! I have already bought the DVDs, but the episodes are in the wrong order on my copy. That problem is supposed to be fixed now per one of the producers. Amazon was making them with the order they aired which was incorrect. (there would be characters one week that seemed like they already had stories going, which they did, and then you'd meet them in later episodes. It didn't affect my enjoyment of the show, but it was annoying!) I am seriously considering buying another set now that the episodes are said to be in the intended order and give my mom the first set. She likes the show too and I don't think she'd be too fussed about the order.

I had the same problem when I tried to read the recaps of the early Amazing Race years. I ended up going to Wayback Machine website and that has the webpages archived. I'm not entirely sure how I got to the page that listed all of the recaps for TAR, but I keep that webpage close to me now. (I think I put the web address for the recap page in the search bar. I don't really know, I played around for awhile on that site). So that site might have them.

Well, reading through this thread yesterday inspired me to watch the 1st few seasons. I even signed up for the Amazon Prime free trial to stream some of the seasons (Hulu Plus works like poop on my tv, but it looks like I'll have to use that on my computer to see some of the seasons). I started watching during season 6. At least, that's the 1st one I have clear memories of. I think some of season 5 has been absorbed into my consciousness and processed as memories, but I don't think they're real. Which season had the original Fern?

They dye his natural lighter and shorter hair and then add in mullet extensions. He is then stuck with it for the entirety of filming. I think he just combed it differently for Talking Dead and tried to make it look a little spiffier

Scott Gimple is the show runner and he was last season too. (Arrow on the Doorpost was Mazzara still) I think last season took some time get the show back to where they wanted. I like Scott Gimple so hopefully this will work for him and AMC. Revolving show runners was getting tiresome. Nicotero is an executive producers, special effects guru, and one of the directors. Regarding Michonne's Katana-esque weapon...... I can't remember if she still had the sheath on her when they went in the boxcar, but I believe she just put the actual katana down, but still had her holder which she used to fashion her double edged weapon of this episode.

I'll say Once Upon a Time. I was all set to be done with it and not watch next season, but they've cast Scott Michael Foster in a role. Now I'm conflicted. I'm guessing he'll have a small role so I shouldn't bother, but I guess that's what DVRs are for.... I can fast forward something fierce. Looking back, I wish I would have given up on How I Met Your Mother. I really enjoyed the 1st few seasons, but I just can't with how they ended it and the last few seasons were not good.

I would watch that too, but I would need him to laugh every once in awhile because it just makes me happy. He has such a happy laugh, just infectious. When he's on @midnight, it's just a giggle fest. I love it.

She was in TAR 21 (same season as the Chippendales, Screeching Twins, etc) and her connection with her partner is listed as dating on and off. They went out in the 2nd week. My memory, and from what other people have said, is that they helped another team (I think they pointed out where the abacus was) and that team beat them in a foot race to the pit stop.
