I don't really like the new version of the title song. Probably because I'm fairly partial to the first season version. Until I heard it had been changed before the season aired, I just figured it would be the same song with scenes from the second season thrown in. Well, I was half right I guess.

The Duke!!! You rat bastard! I lost count how many We're not in Kansas (Scotland) anymore incidents there were. Claire's face when Jamie's "old friend" showed up was the best.

I haven't read that, but that's a rough subject so I'm sure you had some crazy nightmares.

Yeah, that book was crazy. I finished it a couple of weeks ago and I had a nightmare about it about half way through reading it! ( I was trapped somewhere, not sure where, but not a hospital though, and there were animals all over and no food or water) After that, I read Columbine by David Cullen and had a nightmare about that one too! I had to put the non-fiction down for awhile.

I'm excited to see Me Before You too. It looks pretty similar to the book from the trailer. I only finished the book this past weekend ( I was waiting, forever it seemed, for the library copy to become available in an effort to buy fewer books, but I usually fail at that) I read it in less than a day. I'm pretty sure I'll get a copy for myself soon. I did not cry (<---- dirty lie)

This week has been reading books made into movies I guess. On Sunday, I finished Room so, during the week, I could go to a showing of the movie followed by a book and film discussion. During the week, I read The Revenant. Yesterday, I read Me before You. Now the next week or two, I'll probably be a slacker about getting some reading in.

I was a casual fan of David Bowie, but I was still surprised and a little sad. But this Alan Rickman business has thrown me for a complete shock. One of my favorite actors. He seemed like a cool guy too. I haven't decided which movie of his to watch when I get home. My DVD options are Sense & Sensibility, Dogma, Love Actually, or the Harry Potter films. Most likely it will be S & S, followed by Dogma. I need to get Die Hard. I'm so sad! "Was Wisconsin really that bad?" "Because it's dull, you twit! It'll hurt more!"

I'm not sure which time...... the first time he says "when I come home with a problem, I want to be able to turn to my wife" but the second time (which I think you mean) he says "must I bear everyone's weakness?" I think anyway...

Yep. I spent the whole episode thinking Carrie was going to Kevorkian Quinn... Hmmm.

Could I request a recounting of the last 10 minutes, please? My AMC, and only AMC, froze up during commercials. Last thing I saw was the rescuing of Spencer. Thanks!

A movie theater where I live had a marathon showing of Mockingjay part 1 and part 2 last night. It was nice, but long, seeing the 2 movies back to back. I did like part 2, but I still prefer the books. I had read all the books before the movies even came out though. There's always more I wish they could show or get into in movies, but not everything can I know.

Yeah, I met Andrew Lincoln 2 years ago and last year, both around this time of year. He was lean in both of those instances. I think it really has to do with him not having that raggedy beard all over his face. His face looks thinner without it, but his body style has been and has stayed slim.

I'm going to guess it was just one of those brain goofs because the character Peter Quinn is played the actor Rupert Friend.

I never got the sense that Peeta felt she was obligated to reciprocate. That bugs me too. He has had a crush on her for forever, but he was out living his life just fine without her, until the Games forced them together really. I think he was upset because he actually thought she did have feelings for him, not just playing the game. I see a difference between saying oh yeah everyone, I have a crush on this girl (which helped out Katniss too) versus her kissing him and taking care of him and willing to die with him at the end. I'm pretty sure his crush is why it's so easy for him to think that she might have feelings for him too. Naive of him? Probably. In my mind, he just felt used and his feelings were hurt, but he does get over it without her having to reciprocate. I think Katniss wants to take care of him because she thinks he's a genuinely good guy and she doesn't see herself that way. I have read the books and I like Peeta a lot because of that so I have to pretend I still see book Peeta in the movie.

I haven't read it, but I heard about it on the podcast Literary Disco. I can't remember specifics they discussed, but they were pretty positive about it.

My guess is Norman Reedus, but no to Daryl dying.....at least at this time. Norman was supposed to be at Wizard World Fan Fest this weekend, but he canceled Sunday and is only going to be there Saturday. I have no idea if that's related, but I think he canceled Sunday for Talking Dead. That's my guess anyway. We'll see.

Haha! Oscar lives in my memory for finding some slippers and getting all happy, but getting wtf looks from Daryl and Carl. "What's that for?" "You know, end of the day, relaxing" (this is when they were going through the prison and after this, Daryl finds Carol's knife in a walker and then finds her alive hidden behind a door) He was killed when they went to Woodbury to rescue Glenn and Maggie. He was shot while helping get them over the wall. Then, Maggie? gave him the head shot.
