  1. Is that from Mo pounding on the door, or was someone trying to break in?
  2. This is when I started giggling. It's like the writers have never actually met a teenager. Total afterschool special. The whole school scene was ridiculous. No way they're allowed to walk around freely and talk to whoever they want without the school being present. I agree that all tv shows rely on ridiculous situations and suspension of belief, but this show feels like it's trying for a gritty realism and then the writing and characters go so far from realistic that's all that I see. I'll finish the season, but unless there's nothing else on or the finale is really compelling, I probably won't be back.
  3. Wings guitarist Denny Laine dead at 79 https://variety.com/2023/music/news/denny-laine-paul-mccartney-wings-dead-moody-blues-1235822263/ I learned just now he was in co-founded the Moody Blues.
  4. I'm watching this slowly, maybe 2 episodes a day, and I must say it's growing on me. Episode 5 "The Duel" was the best one so far.
  5. I'm 3 episodes in, and it's finally picking up. So far I can't say I love it. Jack and Bell together are the best part, I can skip most of the other characters. Too many side plots that I don't find interesting.
  6. And now I'm singing it, thanks to you. Most people I meet don't know this or Dr. Shrinker.
  7. I can hardly believe his brother Sid is still with us at the age of 94!
  8. That sneak peek gave us nothing. They dead a good job on Dead City and Daryl. Will this be in that vein, or more like Fear? Find out in February!
  9. So apparently Scott Gimple's wife, the delightfully named Julia Wackenheim-Gimple, is one of the Alicia 3. That explains it.
  10. So uneven. Troy has changed, you have to believe. Troy is bad, can never change. Daniel hates Strand and Madison. Nah, Strand is ok. People change. Or maybe they never change.
  11. Yep, not much to add. It ended just as boring as it's been for years. I really hope this is the last we see of these people.
  12. I liked it. Definitely the best WD content in years. The writing isn't as filled with clichés, and they wisely let other people carry the acting load. The last 2 seasons of Fear aren't worth the paper they're printed on, unless there's another TP shortage.
  13. I'd totally see Joan Jett and leave during the middle of Alanis.
  14. They covered that by saying "they didn't care if they lived or died!" which means they would live for some reason. Don't feel bad, none of us had Alicia's Angels on our scorecards. With Troy's daughter, that's 4 new characters added with a week left to the show. Yes, it's cold enough year round in Georgia (or Texas) even though no one else seems cold. We know it's cold because there is some white powder on the ground only in this small section of river bed. Which is cold enough to freeze walkers in the mud, even though it doesn't appear that cold maybe 3 miles away. In Georgia. <cough>
  15. Please make sure you're posting about the correct episode. Thank you.
  16. https://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2023/11/12/fear-the-walking-dead-season-8-episode-10-review-there-is-something-fundamentally-wrong-with-this-show/?sh=6f9f39af622b There are, of course, spoilers throughout.
  17. I just read a review that absolutely skewered the episode. It was way more entertaining.
  18. OMG, that was just terrible. Bad dialogue, bad acting. Only one double-episode left, but it'll be a struggle to get through that.
