  1. I've either seen too many seasons, or this crew is particularly annoying (Serious), but I care considerably less than I usually do. Agreed that the stupid obstacle courses in the beginning are the worst part. I like the demonstrations from the chefs and then the tasting at the end. I'd like the show much more if it only lasted an hour.
  2. I was only able to get through the first episode. Same tone as the first season.
  3. That was my thought, and I also understood that she was only kidnapped for one day. Maybe she was in a different abusive situation, but I don't recall that being mentioned.
  4. Our heroes journey across the Underworld, and bargain for their safety with the god of the dead. Premieres Tuesday, January 23rd on Disney+.
  5. I was wondering if it was de-aging CGI, because it looked so plastic. It looked like they digitally erased his beard.
  6. Season Finale Gabi unravels as the team receives an anonymous tip about one of its most important cases -- a missing girl they've been tracking for months. Gabi makes a shocking discovery about Sir. Premieres Tuesday, January 16th.
  7. Controversial opinion: other than the cringey dream sequences, "The Godsister" is a decent episode. The telephone line construction storyline is pretty good.
  8. Steve seemed to be having a stroke during the competition.
  9. A few takeaways from watching Gold Rush yesterday: That bad guy was obviously a bad guy because he had dark hair and a mustache. What the hell was up with his wife? That Italian family couldn't be more stereotyped. Zachariah (Uncle Jed, St. Peter, the guy who almost buys the farm) really overacts in his last scene!
  10. Me too! But I just read the fun comics & stay out of the political ones. Luann and 9 Chickweed Lane have enough battles for me.
  11. How dare you yell at me for stealing one of your apples off of your porch????
  12. I think they make some kind of "that's what this show is about!" proclamation at least 3 times every show.
  13. I moved all episode 12 posts to that thread. There will be another thread for the finale. I'm going to lock this thread until after the season is over. If you have any ideas for new threads, let me know.
  14. Percy, Annabeth, and Grover must resist the alluring draw of a casino that feels outside of time. Premieres Tuesday, January 16th on Disney+.
  15. While we're talking about the bad behavior of former cast members: https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/food-network-star-darnell-ferguson-arrested-on-burglary-and-strangulation-charges/3742287/
  16. I think the really big acts that have Vegas shows are just there to promote their acts.
  17. What we needed, of course, is two (2) acts where a brother balances on his brother's head. One is definitely not enough.
  18. Bro! Remember the kid says "quite sure!" about everything? I do like the episode, but it's a classic "Charles solves the problem in 3 days" episode. I can think of a few more like it. Joe Kagan The kid who punches his grandpa The family he buys the horses from
  19. New year, new host, new cast of the same stereotypes and characters. I thought I saw the piece of paper in that burger.
