  1. He has at least 2 sisters, according to his instagram page. This is a photo of his other sister. https://www.instagram.com/p/8zRVv1HkLv/?taken-by=tres_russell
  2. I'm just speculating here, but I think something happened between Tres and Vanessa at or around Dec 17th because that's when Vanessa's twitter activity suddenly became less positive. Before the 17th, her tweets, retweets, and likes were all about Tres and the show. She also appeared to be happy. Now she's retweeting and liking a lot of gloomy quotes about relationships, trust, and fake people. I like them both so it's sad that it looks like they are done. And the FYI instagram page just posted a really cute behind the scenes photo of Tres and Vanessa. Damn.
  3. I have high expectations for Tamar so while I liked the dance overall, I didn't think it was their best. I noticed that Tamar was staring into space a couple of times and it took me out of the performance. I thought their rehearsal package was funny, even though it was clearly scripted. Is next week's theme going to be Most Memorable Year? I hate to imply that she should exploit her personal struggles, but I think Tamar should talk about the domestic violence she endured in her previous relationship. The audience will understand her more if she shares her story. She talked about it on the first season of The Real and she was understandably very emotional about it. If the audience knew about the physical and mental abuse she went through, I think they would be able to connect with her more.
  4. Yeah I have to give Nastia major props for not bursting into tears at this point. This is what the fourth or fifth time she has been told she is unemotional? She definitely needs to work on her performance ability, but I would feel very dejected if I kept hearing that same critique.
  5. I watched Rumer and Val's livestream and I think it's safe to say that she will be the best dancer this season. She's an impressive dancer with such natural ability. Her foxtrot is going to be amazing from the little bit that they showed. The one thing that caught my attention though was her personality. I love that she tells like it is and has no filter, but I'm not sure how the public will react to her. There were moments where she was criticizing Val's approach and verbalized that he should smile more because she feeds off of his energy. She wasn't complaining, but I could see it perhaps turning off the tv viewers if they see her as someone who is whining. I understand where she was coming from though because Val is so particular about the technique and getting every single little detail perfect that it kind of takes the fun away from the experience. He is very patient though so I hope she realizes that he is excellent teacher and is showcasing her abilities very well. I do think that part of the awkwardness of this rehearsal came from the fact that they didn't want to give their dance away. Rumer especially did not want to share parts of the dance and at one point got frustrated when Val I guess showed a little too much. I understand where they are coming from, but they need to figure something out for the future. They ended on a good note so I hope their next rehearsal is less awkward. I like this pairing and I hope they make it to the finals.
  6. The first person I thought of after reading this story was Zac Efron. The only reason why the media even found out about his cocaine addiction was because he went to rehab. He seemed to have his shit together in interviews so it was shocking to read what he was doing in his personal life. I guess some people know how to keep things professional at work.
