  1. I hope Sonny and Carly keep fighting. It's the only time believable words come out of either of their mouths. After waiting years for Nik to come back, they manage to make me totally fucking hate him within a week. Excellent work!
  2. I always found the fat jokes to be totally in character for Jack. It mirrors how he always exaggerates his own talents and looks. Will is far more successful and most would say more attracive than Jack (which Jack has admitted a couple times), so it is Jack's nature to try to tear Will down in some way that he can feel he has something up on Will. They do it with a unspoken wink between them, like it's a running joke at this point. It reminds me of when my super fit and thin friend says she is doing a 7-peak challenge on Saturday and, instead of being supportive, I am like, really only 7, I would not get out of bed to climb less than 10 peaks. It's just some snarky fun.
  3. I'm with y'all. There is no fucking way Marcus didn't know all about the patent being bunk and this guy being uninvestable. Some of these scenes were so fake. Does Marcus not know why people watch his show and what they want from it? Know your market, Marcus!!!
  4. The quarterfinal was great. Dang, Marcus was pretty tough on them about incorporating the key ingredient at just the right level. I felt bad for But I'm a softy like that. I'm very pleased by the 3 who went through though. Now, can we talk about the one who didn't. Um....
  5. Um, is Marcus gonna come back and lend Dante more money when he runs the place toward being a bankrupt shambles again? It's all fine for Marcus to insist Dante "make his own decisions," but who does Marcus think is going to have to help support him if he isn't successful? I don't know if I will last the season if it's gonna continue to be Marcus finding someone with a trajedy or bad relationship that he can go all Dr. Phil on. That is not why I watch, and it comes across as so staged and uncomfortable for the poor people who are forced to exploit their pain for his financial aid. Wow, Marcus married a chick 20 years older. That's refreshing. ...unless she is a beard, then not so much.
  6. He was clearly flustered and uncomfortable, but was trying to laugh it off, cuz what else is he gonna do in that situation, and she kept doing it even though he was uncomfortable. Another panelist mentioned it, and she brushed it off as with some bullshit about how it is just sibling-like playfulness. ew. But I'm pretty sure Bill just saw it as some kind of weird comedic flirting shtick.
  7. Carly: I want to be here for you Jason, like you are always here for me! Let me help you! Together we can figure this out! ...Now let's trash talk Sam! I think it's her you're really mad at, right?
  8. I can't remember if we've seen Jay yet this season. I think so. I like most of the critics, but Jay and William are my favorites. Several more enjoyable contenders coming through Monday and Tuesday. Tomorrow's quarter-final is gonna be a heartbreaker. So far I have agreed with every choice of who has gone through, but it hasn't really come down to a very close call yet. I love when Marcus gets that glint in his eye when appreciates the way someone is working. I keep forgetting to ask: Is rocket arugala?
  9. I was wondering why the teams who were bunched at the last pit stop were not power walking like Femi/Nick. It's like they just gave up once they had to walk. This season is not grabbing me, in large part due to the host and his incessant mugging and hugging, but any Amazing Race is better than no Amazing Race.
  10. When Tony Romo started commentating, every time I turned on a game and heard him I would think... "Why is Mark Cuban doing football commentating?!" They sound exactly alike.
  11. Love how Sonny is all over town and up in everyone's business while his BFF's life is being turned upside down. That's true friendship right there, makes me fucking weep. I'm sure Sonny and Carly will come looking for Jason ...next time they need something. At this point, I'm almost relieved when ABC News cuts in.
  12. I just recalled the flashback to the movie theater just before Mr. Alderson collapsed and died. He asked Elliot if he was ever going to forgive him, and Elliot said no. That's a weird exchange for a sexual abuser to have with his victim in a movie lobby. I can't remember if Elliot's arm was broken in the scene.
  13. Just caught up. Surprised only 2 men in this competition. None of the showstoppers have stopped my show yet. Trev has resting "don't give a fuck" face, and I like that about him.
  14. 11/16 episode was a heartbreaker. When that tear rolled down the FBI agent's cheek, it got me.
  15. It reminded me of Phillip's run at the end of The Americans ...which was way more riveting. They took it too far when the guy ran over him and said nothing when he got of his car. Also, when Darlene picked up Elliot as the van was burning, I was like, really? You are not going to look for or even call out to Tyrell. He only walked off a few moments ago. Lends itself to the "Tyrell is an alter" theory but I posted last episode why that is impossible, and I will be really disappointed if that is true.
  16. For those of you who avoid 20/20 because it's usually trash, Saturday's episode "Undercover Girlfriend" was really good. I teared up several times. Bob Woodruff is a great reporter. ...and he doesn't wear skinny jeans to interview cops. :)
  17. Irving was holding Tyrell at the farmhouse where multiple people saw him (including a cop), while Elliot was working at E-Corp where people saw him everyday. So there is no way (at that time) that Tyrell was Elliot's alter. Further, Elliot cannot be Tryell's alter because when Elliot started working at E-Corp, they accepted him as Elliot, otherwise they would have recognized him as Tyrell.
  18. 11/16 episode Jesus God, that poor man. And none of the cops would have done anything differently? Really?! What the hell has to happen for the cops to take it seriously. Multiple threats, stalking, arson. I think I would have left town if my life was that in danger and the cops didn't give a fuck, but the guy had kids so what is he supposed to do?
  19. Is Supersizers the one where they try to help obese people? I had no idea Marcus had appeared on that! I wonder if Marcus and Gordon are still friends. They seemed pretty tight back in the day. Frankly, I found Gordon, Marcus and Marco all pretty hot in the early days. But now, I only find Marco attractive. I'm sure personality has a lot to do with it. On the last season of Celebrity Masterchef, the celebrities went into Monica's restaurant to cook, and it was really nice to see her place and see her at work. She really seems to be such a lovely genuine person.
  20. So Sonny insists Cam make SAFE choices, meanwhile it's all well and good that Dev become the next Jason. So when Hayden HAD to sleep over at Anna's, did she really need to be all sexy in one of Finn's dress shirts? I mean, he didn't have a t-shirt and some sweats she could borrow. I'm sure Anna had some sweats that would fit her. I'm glad Liz finally spoke up to Hayden that going after Finn was kind of a shitty thing to do, seeing that Liz is enraged that Kim is going after Drew no-holds-barred. Having said that, I think Hayden is a better fit for Finn, and if I were Anna, I would step away from that mess and let them be a family.
  21. 😲 All I see on tonight's schedule is a rerun of the Voice and SNL. ?!

Happy for Stephanos! It is time. ...However I do think his finesse is going to have to channel Arya again up against Thiem's power game.
  23. I was quite upset when Michel was fired, and partly because I felt Marcus (although I totally respected him) was a very stoic, almost demure kind of guy that would not bring what Michel brought. And he was stiff as a board at first, then he tried to fake a chuckle here and there. But now he has opened up and relaxed quite a bit. He makes gestures and expressions that seem natural, and you can see that he is rooting for certain chefs and gets disappointed when they falter. (I do prefer the Michel years though.) I still remember first seeing Marcus on Gordon Ramsay's Boiling Point when Marcus was a silent little mouse in a leather jacket following Gordon around like he was a God. Great to see Marcus succeed on the path of serious gentleman chef versus Gordon's bombastic buffoonery.
  24. OMG Dateline, you actually interviewed the psychics. You will do anything to stretch these shows to two hours. I am embarrassed for you. How about use that time to give us more information: Was there any sign of forced entry into John's house? How come John did not have full joint custody of his son when all the allegations against him were proven wrong and the judges knew the wife had lied to the court? His cop friends said the trooper played with a knife all the time, did he still do so after the murder? If the cousin didn't have that connection to be able to talk to the AG, I'm guessing this never would have been solved. I hope the guy who is with Michelle now watches Dateline. I'm sorry, but she was not THAT hot. And finally, because you know I can't help it, Andrea Canning wore the tightest skinny jeans I have ever seen when she toured the crime scene.
