  1. I KNEW there was a simile I was missing!!! LOL I confess I wondered how far down her poor nips were buried in that bedazzled tube top. It could not have been a comfortable night of taping. I figured it was going to be a “how-to” book. Perfect expkanation of why I like Marge so far. And yet another reason why I’m SO GLAD Flicker’s gone.
  2. You’re not kidding. I have had this weird thing my whole life, where I can’t look at a photograph of an evil person for very long. Hitler, for one, for sure. Well, I realize that I had the same thing going with Siggy last night. I simply could not look at the screen if her face was on it. Big, big bummer. Along with so many others, I hope she never comes back. Show that level of unrepentant hatred and egomania on something else if you must, but not a housewives show.
  3. @thesupremediva1, I’m a season-before-last viewer and would LOVE to have the backstory on how NJ got to where they are! Where would you suggest I go to read the timeline? I don’t have the facilities to watch all the seasons, so – – like, the best recaps, or other ways I could get an informed? I’d be ever in your debt. I don’t have the facilities to watch all the seasons, so – – like, the best recaps, or other ways I could get an informed? I’d be ever in your debt. See, when I first saw Danielle, and read up on her backstory – – especially sexual trauma as a child – – I felt sorry for her and wanted to believe the best. Your insights into what she’s done in the past sure make me think differently!
  4. Fun! Although I was hyperventilating at the thought that they were writing the cowboy guy off as a Tree. I hope Sarina comes back — don’t see how she can’t. Also: immortality for Jenkins!!!!
  5. If Jan Josephs is single, I would like to meet him if I were single. The gentleman who is the father of She Who Shall Not Be Named And Who I Thank Heaven Is On Her Way OUT seems even lovelier than Mr. Josephs! What a treat to be able to listen in on two (2!) wise elders tonight! Teresa took full responsibility for her bad behavior! Melissa admitted she knows how to keep Joe and Tre happy and that she loves them and will do what it takes! I love that these women are growing in maturity! I muted the tv when Saggy was on, used CC when her dad was on. He has to be pretty embarrassed by her. He and her mom seem wonderful & it just goes to show, sometimes weird fruit can fall from a good tree. I think it pretty unlikely that Marg’d stepkids are going to reconcile anytime soon, and can’t say I blame ‘em. And while I think it’s pretty disingenuous of her to use it as a storyline on a trash tv show and think they’ll ever come back, at least she retains a little self respect and dignity when she tells Jan she won’t give up, and asks him to mediate as much as he can. Identified with the Catania family in both their arcs. This, Bravo, is the reality that’s interesting to me. In case you wanna know. Restaurant opening was well documented — loved everything except SWMNBN!
  6. Working on phone so posting a new reply is easier than editing, heh. That link shows Eve's dad Craig as exec director of the society & its address is in Homer. FWIW. I read that Eve worked in social services for a while. Love how this group is do educated! If not formally, then they've sure paid attention to what's going on in the world. Very in-touch and articulate.
  7. http://www.whalesalaska.org/team.htm Eve's folks are divorced but both are whale researchers. Dena's home in Gustavus is near Glacier Bay National Park where she works, according to the link. It's on the part of alaska that's only reachable by sea or air. I'm not sure what that part of Alaska is called - it's the thin strip of land between Canada and the Pacific Ocean.
  8. I've read that the Matkens are divorced. Dina's garden looked pretty neglected!!! Loved watching Eivin make-do with what few tools Dina had at her place. May he and Eve last forever! What a perfect couple of resourceful, life-loving individuals!!
  9. Overall I didn't like the episode and don't have much to say that hasn't already been said... I love Sofia & Ed, love the characters they play, but I see less than no chemistry between them. Am I alone in this? Anybody else?
  10. BizBuzz, IIRC (and I might not), first reality show I ever heard of decades ago was on PBS. It Chronicled the lives of the family named Loud. One of the sons had a rock band and tried to capitalize on the show – – his band was called Loud – –and again if I remember correctly, one of the sons came out as gay on TV, which was quite traumatic. I mean, this was like the 1970s. Early 1970s. Just some info there. Editing to say that I was reading backwards and see that Zoloftblob already mentioned the Louds. My bad!
  11. Yeah, we hadn't seen Otto lose his cool before, but Seeing the film of Otto as a young man kind of made it less surprising. He looked like the kind of guy who cous give a person trouble!! :-)
  12. Just came by to see what was going on in LCLand, and feel obliged to mention that the couple met up with the young woman (little person) whose mom taught Bill to dance the salsa. So yes, there are other folks of their stature in their circle of friends. Back to lurk mode, but with prayers for Bill's full & successful recovery as well!
  13. Curious, I wondered the same thing myself. She was an experienced shooter, she should have known about the recoil on the rifle. They did a good job of acting, if indeed it was acting, and I hate to think that they are faux reality like so many other shows, but this one really did seem sketchy.
  14. Thanks, Miss T. I had remembered that Eve's mom was a marine biologist, and her mom was on an episode during Eve's pregnancy, at which time they both seem very comfortable clambering around over rocks near a beach. Is nordstroms expensive, like, Barney's of the Midwest? Or is it like Macy's? I've never been in one. I like Jane immensely, she seems like the kind of chick gal it would be easy to pass a good time with, very down-to-earth. However, it always tickles me to no end that she has applied her mascara. Being a homesteader doesn't automatically mean leaving all of one's glamour behind, I guess! LOL
