Episode just ended. I have to agree. I’m not a big animal person nor do I own a pet but this stuff is like Handmaid’s Tale like trigger (can’t think of another recent show to compare to). Watch with extreme care.

The Expanse is worth Amazon prime. 😊But that’s another fandom. I’m looking forward to the new show as well. Discovery is hit or miss with me.

I totally forgot (real life) and bought tickets last night. 11 am Saturday reserved seating. I haven’t seen a movie that early since I was a kid. Cineplex app in Canada, pretty smooth. I figured I can hold out 3 hours for the bathroom. I also think I can remain unspoiled for two days. I was unspoiled for Infinity Wars for two days. Captain Marvel for a week. This last trailer was really good and I cannot wait.

The authors are planning a three book series not set in the Expanse world so at least we will have another series to look forward to.

I’m bummed that Flash is not available on CTV. As of today, last night’s premiere is not on Netflix Canada (neither is Black Lightning which aired weekly on Netflix Canada but may have been a week behind the US airing) according to this reddit thread. https://www.reddit.com/r/FlashTV/comments/941c2o/the_flash_to_netflix_canada_finally/ I too watched the show on the CW (Rogers is my cable provider) however CTV was great to watch on demand or on their app if I missed the day of (I don’t have a PVR) so I too will have to find it elsewhere if needed. After many thoughts that went through my head "You get Hoynes" after the election result was one of them. Say what you will about Aaron Sorkin, "Two Cathedrals" was amazing.

Stephen's Twitter mentioned our Toronto Blue Jay win "That's with the Rangers deserved" as any Blue Jay fan would know the history between the Texas Rangers and the Blue Jays. Jensen Ackles of Supernatural responded via Twitter with "Didn't you marry a Texan" #classy and Stephen responded "She's from Houston. Also, you look wonderfully handsome in that profile pic" I love my CW boys. Don't you start bickering. Both your fandoms scare me. I'm typing this in on my phone but the links are easy to find and it seems that it is on both their verified account.

I think it's airing November 17th not October 17th. I will watch the first couple of episodes as I can tolerate Heigl in small doses but when she gets insufferable I will have to bow out.

Was anyone having flashbacks to a Star Trek Voyager episode when something similar was offered to the Voyager crew? Except the Voyager crew had a place to go. The enlisted officers here, as many have said, had nowhere to go. This show is a summer show for me. One I will watch until my Sunday nights gets busy again with other t.v. pursuits. I try not to overthink this show anyway but really how are they going to extend the show next season?

I'm with you about The Day After Tomorrow. It's not a great movie but something about the cast and special effects makes it stupidly one to watch whenever it is on. My now 82 year old aunt and I watched it back in the movie theatre when it came out and as she ages (regular old age memory issues) it's one movie that she still remembers and will watch for a bit when it is on. So I guess that's the soft spot for it.
