  1. Agree! I was put off by the title of this show but when I saw Mr. Cho in the previews I had to watch! lol He is just too cute!! Also think the show is cute.. I'm just hoping he & stuck up (hehe) don't move past friendship -- that will spoil it for me.
  2. Agree! I especially liked the shot of the woman with the crying baby driving up alongside Laurie, and they looks they exchanged.
  3. Some people suspected Laurie was a therapist pre-Oct 14th based on the diner convo when Patti says "remember what you told me in our last session." I suspected right away "Neil" might turn out to be Patti's husband, but I wasn't completely sold on the doctor-patient relationship, and kind of dismissed it. So it wasn't really a spoiler.. Bravo to those who caught it! Wonder what other patients Laurie had and what their secrets were, and how that plays into her now being a member of the GR! Would be funny if any of her patients were seeing her hubby....
  4. I love the show too! I was a little thrown by it being all flashback.. kept expecting Kevin to wake up and come back to 2014. lol About the baby.. I really need to rewatch the ep, but I got the impression Laurie wasn't going to keep it. She hadn't told Kevin; the doc mentioned "counseling".. just her overall sadness. I don't think she really wanted a dog, it was her way of testing out Kevin.. and by him not wanting it, he failed miserably. If he didn't want the responsibility of a dog, how on earth would he welcome a child? Yet he rushes out to save the deer and she tells him, yes, "better go save it." And wasn't it funny how Patti tells her, "Something's wrong.. inside you" hmm.. Definitey not a happy marriage at play there. Laughed out oud when Kevin lifted the sheet... Really, Kevin? Did you REALLY think she was under there??!? ahaha
  5. Agree on Matt and Nora, they are my favorites in the show, but I'm rooting for Kevin too. Mainly to make some sense of the mess that has become his life and work on fixing it. Nora will help with that I'm sure. The guy writing down times Nora leaves.. one of two possibles: GR is convinced she'll join them if they can wear her down (NOT!! lol) and want to make sure they're always in her face when she comes and goes.. Or: they need to know when she'll be out of the house to set up for their big Memorial Day reveal. If Nora's family was home at the time they departed this is the most likley (I think) scenario. Those creepy "dolls" are going to end up in her house. Just wanna' say... Other people (from this forum and elsewhere) have put together the stolen photos + room full of clothes + loved ones dolls = recreated Departed, etc.. so I'm not trying to take credit from the original posters!! :) Good job on that!! I had some inklings.. but wasn't quite all the way there. But after viewing this week's episode, I'm starting to put some of the details together myself, and it's really making sense. Especially when Meg said she "can't wait to see Nora's face" on Memorial Day. Oh man I wanted to sock her at that point!! With a brick!!! lol So I'm pretty sure GR is going to decorate Nora's kitchen especially creepy (where she saw the flashbacks of them having breakfast), possibly down to the missing dog. Or maybe use the backyard and the swingset like in the photo as the backdrop. Thanks to everyone for sharing their thoughts and takes on the show.. really fun reading all your posts! It helps to enhance the viewing experience and consider things in a different perspective... shame so many knock this show!
  6. I was lmao when Meg started yelling "you're everywhere!!!" How's it feel beeyotch??! ahaha The GRs are supremely unlikable! Was waiting on Dean to finish what he started.. doubted Kevin did much (if any) of what brought Patti to the cabin.. think it was all Dean and him doing a major mind screw on Kevin. Though Kevin does have some anger issues.. lol Ditto on Jill! What a brat!! Now she's where she belongs, with her crazy mother!! Wasn't a fan of Aimee's but felt bad for the girl tonight.. Also lol @ your Hot cop comment.. agree :)
  7. Well from what fake-Nora said, they get tossed into an incinerator! Unfortunately right alongside GR members ousted by their ilk.. HEE! Ok seriously... :) Originally the form was most likely online or paper. In the earlier ep interviewing the couple, Nora mentions videotaping in person is now a requirement because people "had trouble understanding the questions" or some such.. She completes the paper form as they answer. Someone suggested she could've been completing #121 as Yes for everyone.. I believe this is the case, and most likely why (along with other "patterns" detected) the videotaping became a requirement. Funny how she gets her first "No" after being hugged by Holy Wayne! So was she really fudging the answers, or did she stop projecting the hope she held and finally accepted she'd never know what kind of place her Departures ended up in.. good or bad.. and wishing wouldn't make it so? Also, found it amusing that question 121 is blurred out when she looks at it (and she appears to actually read over question 120 with her finger!) when confronted by her boss-- (yes I notice things like this! lol)-- and we don't find out till episode end what the question is that she "..answered yes. All three times." All the more sadder when you finally find out. Pretty good acting by "Nora" this ep.. shame for all those missing out!
  8. My guess is it's her hubby or ex-hubby.
  9. OMG I can't take the Amy (Aimee? Who cares!! lol) character either. Hope she joins the GR with Laurie and never speaks again. Her facial expressions are maddening. UGH!!! I'm liking the twins.. so far! Yet.. sensing some underlying darkness from them at the same time... anyone else getting that feeling? Hope I'm wrong on that. Also liking Tom, though wish he'd abandon what's-her-name and head on home. She's annoying and not worth saving. "Say it wasn't my fault. SAY IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT!!!!" OMG talk about someone needing a punch lol
  10. I really feel i need to rewatch the first 4 eps again but what i got from Liv chopping at the tree.. She's made the decision to leave her fiancee and 'old' life behind, giving up all her possessions, etc.. She's gaining strength, and letting her (anger? confusion? sadness?) go with every chop of that tree. If she finally gets it down, she'll light her first ciggie :D Garvey with the bagel? He's a stubborn SOB and simply wouldn't accept the bagel "disappeared" -- he had to prove there was a reasonable explanation for where it went. He needed to actually see for himself. Hopefully he'll apply these amazing detective skills (hehe) to discovering how/why Oct 14th happened and maybe figure out how to fix his messed up life. I'd give up on the wife. Nine-tenths of the way to space cadet, that one is.. The Asian girl.. I'm with you on that one! "special"? I don't see it. Nor the child she's carrying. "Holy Wayne" is a crackpot in serious need of meds. But I do love his voice! lol Yes he's pretty fun to watch! :) Just can't remember where I know him from.. Wiki search fielded nothing. Though very reminiscent of the lead actor in FlashForward -- which this show reminds me a LOT of..... a major event occurring and then how everyone deals with its aftermath.... expectant of a possible repeat occurrence.. questioning their existence and whether their life has meaning, etc., etc.. Man I miss that show.
