  1. Always Watching, you might be thinking of her Maine accent in "Dolores Claiborne", although she did have a very mild bit of mid-western going on in "Misery". I've read that her accent here for Ethel is supposed to be Baltimore. I've been to Baltimore a couple of times years ago, but don't remember hearing the accent. Maybe I'll check out some episodes of "The Wire" to see how it lines up, it is awfully strange sounding when she does it here. I'm loving this season SO much more than Coven. That season just did not do it for me at all. Twisty is the best, his reaction shots are just brilliant, it's a major testament to John Carroll Lynch's talent that while so covered in makeup and prosthetics he has the most wonderful facial reactions. I'm also totally digging Dandy and his mom. I've been a huge fan of Francis Conroy since SFU and love the work she's done on this series (in fact, she's almost the only thing I liked in Coven "Balenciaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaga!!!!!!!!!!!"). I'm actually enjoying the anachronistic musical numbers, but I would die happy if Bette and Dot did "Sisters" from "White Christmas", and that would actually be period appropriate!
  2. WhoaWhoKnew? THANK YOU!!!! That was it! You're better than Google.
  3. Can you belles help a gal out? What Season/Episode was it that the Ladies of Sugarbaker's tackled the Newsweek article about it being more likely to get killed by a terrorist as a woman over 40 than to get married? Google is not being friendly. I own seasons 1-4 and want to watch that one.
