  1. So far, it looks that Misty got away with sabotaging the black box, given that Nat didn't realise Misty had done the same to her car. However, I'm open to the possibility that Nat has Misty's number and is going along with it for now.
  2. So I hadn’t read the episode’s description and had no idea Ruth Wilson was going somewhere else so yeah, I was surprised. I actually thought it was some kind of fake out until I came here and read all of your sincere comments about the matter. I was laughing all the way through the episode (sometimes with, sometimes at) until the reveal. And even then I didn’t believe it. Well done, show, I guess.
  3. And how could I not have recognized Dina Meyer? She of Starship Troopers fame or depending on your age, the professor’s wife Brandon had an affair with on 90210! It wasn’t until her name popped up in the credits - and even then I wasn’t sure who she played. If I had to single out the one thing that bothered me most in this episode, it would be Alison seemingly leaving Joanie behind without any after thought and again, this is her POV. What about all of that custody stuff from before with Luisa? I guess Athena has no life of her own and is just on Alison’s on demand childcare. I know it’s part of the plot to get the core four to CA but there should have been at least one scene that helped make this stick.
  4. Haha! I have a hate/secretly love relationship with this song. It’s the same way I felt about the theme song to Enterprise. I think singing along loudly, and very badly, has helped my appreciation. “ECHOOOOOOOOOOOO”
  5. I was mostly being sarcastic here, but I should have indicated it more clearly. My point was that when I have concert tickets that I can’t use, especially expensive ones, I try to either sell them or at the least give them away to someone who could enjoy them. He might has well have ripped up $300 which most people wouldn’t do.
  6. So Noah Fucking Solloway can tear up $300 “tweener bs” tickets but he can’t bump Alison to first class? It was my thought too that Trevor had learned about Vic’s illness but I guess we’ll find out more about that next week. I find it very interesting that Noah is a dick even in his POV. I.e: Barging in on his boss, talking over her, trying to save the day on the phone with the board, his interaction with Helen, demanding to see his son who clearly didn’t want to see him, his cluelessness around a family conversation that had nothing to do with him, his interactions with the desk sergeant, victim blaming Alison about her assault on the plane, not understanding her panic attack. Helen, OTOH, is probably best viewed in Alison’s light. I think that’s when I find her the most likable. I love their scenes together and as implausible as it can be to get them together more often, I’ll take whatever show contrivance to get us there. It’s not like the show hasn’t done worse to get characters who would otherwise never interact (see all of S3.)
  7. And it’s only just now that I realised that Alison and Noah were nowhere to be seen in this best of this season’s episode. Coincidence? I think not. (And I find Noah and Alison to be interesting characters and enjoy the actors who play them. But it’s telling that I enjoyed this episode as much as I did without their characters driving the narrative.)
  8. The best episode of the season so far. Granted, my expectations were very low. I’d expected to be annoyed with the walkabout but the revelation it brought to Nan was cathartic for her and Cole. I didn’t care for the manic pixie dream girl being thrown at us at all. I did however appreciate that Cole isn’t lying to himself anymore and that Luisa deserved someone who was all in. Even if he can’t end up with “magic” Alison, at least set Luisa free. I knew Helen wasn’t taking the shots and as others have mentioned, it is perfectly okay to not want to have a baby. It is not okay to lie about it. I had a great deal of empathy for him when he was discussing his parents and his decision making regarding them. All around good writing and acting this episode. If there are more episodes like this one, I’m back all in! (Last week I half watched while lurking in another show’s forum.)
  9. I'm sitting in a hotel watching JOHN SEARS in "Stonado" on syfy.
  10. I liked the Mickey Mouse law student in New Orleans even though Mickey Mouse gives me the creeps. This is an old one, maybe in the 2005-2006 range? She was fun, quirky, and didn't complain about losing out on her first choice (which I would have prefered as well.) I'd like to see where she is now. Love Adrian Leeds and Toby (Brown?) who does a lot of London ones. Both of them are realistic and bring the snark without ever being mean. I also liked Claudia in Germany but she only did a couple of shows, iirc.
  11. Crowd responded favorably from what I could tell, but again, there were so many sound problems it was hard to ascertain the strength of the reaction. Sorry I don't have more, I'd like the answer too. DragonCon TV is shown at the five host hotels just for the duration of the con. However, you might be able to find You Tube videos from those who were able to record segments on their own. There were several clips from Manu Bennett and John Barrowman from last year available.
  12. Watching the Arrow panel live on DragonCon TV. KC did not show for this panel, though she is listed. Katrina Law is on the panel instead. Caity Lotz, Paul Blackthorne, and D. Nykl. The cast seems to get on well. Unfortunately the sound is a bit spotty so I'm having a hard time understanding all of the Q & A. The panel moderator said he hoped that Caity would become the Black Canary. Caity smiled. Caity wishes that her character would fall off the deep end instead of the moral handwringing. Island Sara is a harder character for Caity to play as she is more vulnerable. They all agreed John Barrowman likes to prank the most. Stephen Amell also likes to joke around with the cast.
  13. Also, Meredith's final pick, Ian, did not have her meet his parents.
