We all see it differently, I see that a few calls and a google search is no big deal. I don't ding Meghan for what she did, not at all. She had a feeling about something and ran with it, and well done her because her instinct was right. She was right to discuss with the cast mates, they shared info and came up a stack of lies. Nothing they did caused V&B to lie the way that they did, that's on them. Further escalation is also on V&B, if they wanted to, they could have said nothing at all. As for 'letting it die' do you think (general you) that it would have (died a natural death), or would they have continued lying about dr appointments and asking for prayers and casseroles? Me, I'm firmly in the camp of 'they would have played everyone while trying to make bank on the juice deal'. It's a nice place, we have cookies.

Now is the time I wish the camera's were rolling in Vicki's home! This would be solid gold.... But, I do have to say, that I am very surprised that City of Hope went public. Surprised and very glad. Just too damn bad that no one got to see her reaction when she found out. Oh and when Brianna calls her and flips out. That would have been good tv.

Yes to the first sentence, I would expect that of her as well. The second, yes again, but, it's nice to be able to sit with a group of understanding adults when trying to have a conversation that no one wants to have in the first place. I think that Brianna really needed the back up and support of people who know her mother and what she's really like. Yes, it took place in front of camera's so that everyone can hear/see, but you have to take the opportunity when and where it presents itself. And you don't have to be. Hugs ..............

When all is said and done, it's still her only mother. It's probably just something that she'll tell anyone who asks, as it makes the truth a little more palatable.

Keep going, I think it was years ago when the lies started. Before she left Donn she was already involved with Brooks, so to get a call from him 'I've got cancer' and she ran and got a divorce.....I'm going to say that she knew he was lying. As soon as he was busted about the pancreas, she knew. She knew and didn't care. That this round of cancer just happened to coincide with them doing promo's for detox juice stinks. Vicki's been lying about a lot of things and it's going to all come out. Makes me wonder (just a tiny bit) what the people in her daily life think about this.

I agree, this is from the adults and it's glaringly obvious. From the kids, it would have been handmade cards, maybe a a knickknack, but definitely something heartfelt/sincere. Something for the whole family....all their new sibs. And that's the one aspect of this show that I was looking for and never got. Where is the religion in all of this? At this point, I don't see any at all, which to me makes this entire situation all the more strange.

That's the clincher. Can't wait for him to try and weasel out of this OR he finally disappears because he's gone too far with the bullshit. I don't see how or why Vicki would continue on with him other then he's her obsession. Homage to Vicki & Brooks.......

I'll see your theory and put forth another one..... Heather might have mentioned this Dr to the HW's Vicki mentioned it in passing, Brooks retained the name and then made up a story. Resveratrol is a popular item to talk about when discussing health living and things of that ilk.....which he learned about from the juice lady. They put together a story and worked it. Side observation, Brooks got schooled when he took on Heather.

Thank you! I was really curious about this particular document....mockument? I know that every cocktail is tailored for each patient, but..... something is off on the recipe. No, I am not an oncologist, I am however, familiar with various treatments. On a personal note, (IMO) when a person gets to a certain age, you've either had an illness yourself, had someone close to be it friend or relative who's needed you and lastly, lost someone ('s) close to you. I've hit that age. My personal experience with life is telling me that he's so full of shit it's coming out of his ears and he's given the mockument to prove it.

Putting this thought here in Vicki's thread as it's her ex or not ex ...... One thing I noticed during Brooks' interview that stood out (to me) was the way that he kept saying 'Vicki misspoke' and then he would eyeball the camera. I took that as he was sending a subliminal message to her how she should keep taking the flack and not say too much of anything or else. It's the implied 'or else' that I think was there. I'm probably reading too much into it, but it did/does seems as though he really is in control of her and their screwed up relationship. He's left her before, he's left her now, and she's not over him in the slightest, in no small part because he's the one doing the leaving. Tamra gave insight when she told about how Brooks manipulated Vicki into leaving Donn for him. Insight into their relationship before the divorce, and now with their split. I didn't feel like doing my monthly report, this was much more interesting! ;)
